Andrea Corr, 51, showcases her incredibly toned figure in a skimpy patterned bikini as she hits the beach in sun-soaked Barbados
Andrea Corr showcased her age-defying figure as she hit the beach while holidaying in sun-soaked Barbados on Monday. The iconic Irish singer, 51, slipped into a colourful patterned bikini which boasted a triangular top and drawstring bottoms. The tiny two piece perfectly displayed her toned physique while she kept a low profile beneath shades and a navy baseball cap. The lead singer of Celtic pop rock group The Corrs enjoyed a cooling dip in the clear blue ocean before strolling along the sand. Andrea later returned to her party and appeared in great spirits as she chatted while topping up her tan. It comes after the singer surprised many fans earlier this year when she was unveiled as the Snail on the most recent series of The Masked Singer. After her identity was unveiled, she quipped: 'I had such a good time, everyone's been lovely, it's been really joyous. I wanted to do it for the children.' She added that she 'loved' her glittery pink costume and hadn't told a single person she was taking part in the ITV competition. The star had just missed out on a spot in the top five, with the show eventually won by West End star Samantha Barks. In 2022, The Corrs performed for the first time together in five years at Hope Estate Winery, in Australia's Hunter Valley. The 90s band is made up of siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim. Andrea was interviewed by Australian radio station Triple M ahead of their return where she spoke about the family band and their shared talent. She said: 'We've often wondered over the years why one of us wasn't a complete dud, like what are the chances?' 'I mean, music is an amazing thing to do. We do love it. 'Our parents brought us up playing music, listening to music, listening to them. So we're just been doing it our entire life.' Last year, Andrea took to the stage again back in the summer as The Corrs thrilled festival goers at BST Hyde Park. On the bill at the Hyde Park festival as a special guest of Shania Twain's headline show, the family band's performance was hailed as 'magnificent'. Fans were quick to show their adoration at the band's performance, taking to X, formerly Twitter, to write: 'At BST. The Corrs are a stupendously beautiful family,'; 'The Corrs, very much on form!'; 'Magnificent #thecorrs,'; 'A great day to drink a beer and listen to the Corrs. Wherever you are (I am at Hyde Park for the Corrs and Shania Twain), drink a beer and listen to the Corrs today.'

Jenny Powell, 57, shows off her age-defying figure in a blue bikini as she enjoys beach day during sun-soaked Spain getaway
Jenny Powell showed off her age-defying figure in a blue bikini as she turned heads on her Instagram Stories on Thursday. The radio presenter, 57, who is currently away in Spain, was topping up her tan in the sizzling two-piece as she soaked up the sun. The broadcaster showed off her bronzed physique while posing up a storm on the beach. 'Scared, not scared. And definitely not sorry.' she penned on top of the post with Alesso's Hero playing over it. Jenny underwent a robotic hysterectomy last year to manage extreme symptoms from the result of menopause. She has been open about her health battle and has often displayed her scars from the gruelling surgery as a way of raising awareness. In March, she displayed her incredible abs in a bikini as she proudly showed off her scars four months after having surgery. She looked sensational as she took to Instagram to share a collection of snaps, including bikini pictures from a trip to Hotel Les Deux Tours in Marrakech. Jenny wowed in a green and white tie-dye style triangle bikini, while in another mirror selfie, she sported a multicoloured striped skimpy two-piece. She captioned the snaps: 'Pain heals, chicks dig scars, glory last forever. Thank you Shane Falco for these words… I'm living them! 'In the past week alone from hosting for amazing charities @athletic_minds_foundation @foundation92 @mftcharity to sharing my weekends as always on the radio @greatesthitsuk to rebooting @hotel_les_deux_tours. 'The balance is key and the energy is real .. shine on my lovelies. We all have scars inside and out .. it's the healing process that matters.' Just five months ago, Jenny explained that the last two years have been the most difficult for her. She told OK!: 'Even though I tried to send out all these positive, smiley, "everything's lovely" vibes, I was suffering. 'I had terrible bleeding, really bad, to the point where I was changing four times a day and in a job like mine, that isn't good.' Jenny thinks that women's health is 'neglected' and that the concept of 'just getting used' to struggling is something that frustrates her. The Greatest Hits Radio host had been on a family holiday in her bikini last year when some paparazzi pictures of herself started doing the rounds in the media. When she saw the images, Jenny noticed a 'bump in [her] lower abdomen' which caused concern and she underwent an MRI. The scan revealed that her abdomen was as if she 'was about 16 weeks pregnant' with the amount of pressure it was under, and she felt compelled to share her story. She added: 'It was so big it was pressing on my intestines, on my bladder, on my kidneys. 'It's only looking back – now that it's gone – that I think, "Wow." And that's why I put it all out there.' In the images shared, Jenny posed in shorts as she gave a full view of the extent of her scars. The images had been taken over the course of a four-week time span, and the scarring became more dramatic as the days went on. Soon after undergoing the operation in early October, Jenny explained: 'I've suffered for so long with all sorts of symptoms and tried all sorts, but yeah it's time, so hence the hysterectomy. 'Because I'm menopausal of course things are different it's not like this is been brought on early. 'But I'm just wondering if they'll be any connection between it and my emotions. So it will be interesting. I'm just about to put my fancy gown on so come back later.' Jenny previously revealed she was forced into hospital after severe menopause symptoms left her struggling to 'get out of bed every day'. What is a hysterectomy? A hysterectomy is a surgical procedure to remove a woman's uterus. There are three kinds: The operation is most commonly performed on women between the ages of 40 and 49. More than 20 million American women have had a hysterectomy, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As women approach menopause, the odds that they will develop one of several serious uterine health conditions increases. Doctors may recommend a hysterectomy as a treatment for: fibroids endometriosis uterine (endometrial) cancer chronic uterine pain or bleeding collapsed uterus In some cases, doctors may suggest a hysterectomy as a preventative measure if a woman has significant warning or early signs of developing one or more of these conditions. When necessary, surgeons may also remove the ovaries and fallopian tubes, if these have also been damaged or are at serious risk of damage. The removal of reproductive organs sends a woman's body into menopause, no matter how old she is. This comes with unpleasant side effects like hot flashes, and many women have to start hormone therapy, taking oestrogen to balance out their own hormones.
