MS Dhoni with Saurabh Tiwary's kid Sourish. (Source: FB) Former India captain MS Dhoni is enjoying his off season these days. The 43-year-old has retired from all formats of the game apart from the IPL. He was part of the IPL 2025 season but his Chennai Super Kings side finished in 10th and last position. On Tuesday, a heartwarming video featuring Dhoni went viral on social media. In the video, Dhoni is seen working out in a gym in Ranchi and seen interacting with former India and Jharkhand teammate Saurabh Tiwary's son. Tiwary shared a 16-second video on Facebook where Dhoni can be seen playfully interacting with his young son, Sourish, in a gym. Watch MS Dhoni with Saurabh Tiwary's son Sourish HERE… Tiwary captioned the video, 'Mahi Bhaiya playing with my son Sourish' soon went viral. In the video, Dhoni is seen playing with the young boy, charming him with his personality. Tiwary and Dhoni played international cricket together and both represented Jharkhand Cricket Association in first-class cricket as well. In fact the Jharkhand southpaw had made his international debut under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. However, Tiwary played in only 3 ODI matches for Team India. The 35-year-old from Ranchi turned out in six seasons in IPL for Nita Ambani's Mumbai Indians franchise. In 93 matches in IPL, Tiwary notched up 1494 runs with 8 fifties to his name. He also scored 8076 runs in 116 first-class matches at an average of 47.22 with 22 centuries to his name. After his retirement, Tiwary has become the secretary of Jharkhand State Cricket Association recently. Meanwhile, Dhoni was retained for Rs 4 crore as an uncapped player ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction last year. Dhoni is classified as an 'uncapped' player now because he last played international cricket for India more than 6 years back in 2019. In the IPL 2025 season, Dhoni only managed to score 196 runs in 14 matches with a top-score of 30 not out with a strike-rate of 135.17. Overall in IPL, Dhoni has played in 278 matches and scored 5439 runs with 24 fifties.

Furore over pervert caught red-handed upskirting but no action as violence was used in nabbing him
THIS is truly disturbing and points to a breakdown in the laws of the country. In a video that has gone viral, a pervert is caught red-handed upskirting. For those not in the know, it is the act of filming or photo-taking by secretly placing a smart phone under unsuspecting ladies' skirts. The video shows the young perpetrator being caught in his act, believed to be in the Bukit Bintang vicinity in Kuala Lumpur, before being over-powered by several youths. JANTAN PERVERT!! Rakam dalam skirt perem*uan. Terima kasih orang ramai yang membantu. Katanya student lagi. Terima kasih rakyat prihatin — hfzrzk (@hrfuturesnq) June 16, 2025 A post uploaded to social media purportedly by one of the young 'heroes' explained that when attempting to hand over the perpetrator to the cops, shockingly, they were advised to let him go! Why? They had used violence in overpowering the culprit. In the end, they filed a report that the culprit had illegal gambling websites on his phone instead of the 500GB (gigabyte) of lewd photos (which were already deleted). The young hero explained that he is posting to alert others about this troubled pervert, especially given creep is allegedly a student at the Multimedia University (MMU). That explanation (please use translation tool to decipher) along with video of the fracas was shared on X by AsalBukanAnwar (@SnappyCraps) According to FB, the police advised the people who caught him to let him go, because apparently they used violence to apprehend him…despite him having 500GB of upskirt video footage in his phone when they checked it. — AsalBukanAnwar (@SnappyCraps) June 16, 2025 One of the young heroes also posted a follow-up by stating they are not trying to glorify their actions but merely stop such abhorrent actions by perverts. He stated that he did not want the perpetrator to get away scot-free and claim that he had been arrested for mere gambling offences when the truth was for more disturbing and sinister. Thanking everyone for their support, he was baffled at how they could be charged for causing harm when their citizen arrest was intended to stop a criminal act. It was also disconcertingly highlighted that the law did not cover citizen's arrest for such incidences. Robbery, rape, kidnapping, house-breaking, snatch theft, murder and even the spreading of fake news were covered but not apprehending perverts caught outraging the modesty of women! Perhaps the Criminal Procedure Code needs to be updated, insinuated one netizen. Many netizens could not quite believe what had actually transpired either with the evidence on the phone and after the pervert was caught red-handed. Many questioned the logic applied by the cops. Were they expecting the apprehenders to politely invite the pervert to turn himself in to the police sans struggle? Can a criminal now be let off the hook simply because some force was applied in apprehending him? There is an obvious disconnect between the law and reality when the schedule permitting a citizen's arrest is so narrow and limited. If spreading fake news can be included, surely cases of outraging modesty of females can as well. The police also need to re-think how to go about dealing with such cases. Letting the pervert go is far from being a good idea. Given that there is huge public outcry over this viral video, perhaps the police can charge him with the appropriate crime – unless ALL of the evidence has been wiped out. The public, in particular concerned parents of MMU students, can also pressure the tertiary institute to expel or at least suspend this pervert if it is proven that he is indeed studying there. Time to mobilise public opinion. – June 23, 2025

Cambodia claims Thai cyclists violated temple agreement
Ta Moan Thom temple, in a photograph taken in February. - Nhoem Sidet via FB PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of National Defence has warned that Thailand violated an agreement between the armed forces of both countries, which specifies designated times for accessing the Ta Moan Thom Temple. In a statement issued on Sunday (June 22), a ministry spokesperson said that at approximately 7.30am, three Thai soldiers led a group of about 150 Thai cyclists into the premises of Ta Moan Thom Temple without prior notification to Cambodian troops. 'This action is a clear violation of the agreement between the two parties, which stipulates specific times for temple access from 9am to 3pm. "The same agreement also requires that any request for an extension or special arrangements must be notified and agreed upon in advance by both parties to ensure smooth coordination and prevent any misunderstandings,' added the statement. In response to this irregular situation, the defence ministry explained that the Cambodian armed forces intervened immediately with responsibility, understanding and professionalism, reminding the Thai side to adhere to the terms of the agreed-upon arrangement. Following the guidance, the group of cyclists left the temple area without any further incident. 'Cambodia urges the Thai side to strictly adhere to the terms of the existing agreement with rigor, transparency and sincerity,' said the statement. It noted that compliance with the agreement is crucial for maintaining trust and mutual respect, avoiding unnecessary misunderstandings and preventing unfortunate incidents, which are outcomes the Cambodian side does not wish to see. 'The Royal Cambodian Armed Forces reaffirm their unwavering commitment to protecting the territorial integrity of the nation and managing the situation at Ta Moan Thom Temple through peaceful means, with responsibility and high professionalism. 'All measures taken are fully in line with existing bilateral agreements, aimed at fostering a conducive environment for peace, security and cooperation along the border, to strengthen good neighbourly relations and bring benefits to the people of both nations,' added the statement. - The Phnom Penh Post/ANN

Public trust deficit on PMX, Madani gov't gets vented on Agong's Facebook page
MAN-on-the-street Malaysians have done the unimaginable by expressing their dismay over Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his Madani administration on the Facebook (FB) page of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia. They did such unprecedented practice by posting comments which diverted from the norm in a social media post on Sultan Ibrahim meeting PMX who also briefed the former on current developments and various current issues. The meeting at Istana Bukit Tunku in Kuala Lumpur yesterday (June 22) lasted for almost two hours, according to Sultan Ibrahim's FB post. It cannot, however, be immediately ascertained if the detractors included opposition backers/cybertroopers, the pro-Najib faction or even disgruntled PKR loyalists who are disillusioned with outcome of the recent party's central leadership polls. 'Daulat Tuanku. We the ordinary rakyat are struggling, Your Majesty with businesses in decline, purchasing power being not what it used to be, the rates of water & electricity also felt very different … hope the government is more sensitive to this issue,' read the top comment. 'We the people don't know who else to complain to. Profound apology, Your Majesty.' Interestingly, a Madani government backer tried to diffuse the claim by accusing that it was merely an opposition slander given the government of the day has dished out the Rahmah Cash Aid (STR) and Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (MYSARA) initiatives to ease financial burden of the B40 group.' However, he was accused as a Madani government cybertrooper who only wanted 'to deny grouses from the rakyat to protect the government's image' with one commenter openly declared 'we openly reject PMX, Your Majesty'. Another even wondered if Sultan Ibrahim ever read disgruntlements expressed by his royal subjects. One commenter even called for the reinstatement of incarcerated former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak as 'PMX is only burdening the rakyat and only leading the country towards destruction'. Appeals also poured in for Sultan Ibrahim to advise PMX on how to administer the country prudently – or even to appoint an interim PM – especially given that 'taxes have been risen, subsidies are eliminated (reduced to targeted subsidies) and national debt has increased'. Truth hurts for the bottom line – as mooted by some commenters – is for the dissolution of Parliament to pave way for the 16th General Election (GE16) or who else can lend an ear to their anguish if not the Agong himself. – June 23, 2025 Main image credit: Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar/Facebook
