Tottenham interested in Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix
Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix (25), according to L'Equipe. The French outlet reports that other top European clubs are also monitoring the player. Lacroix began his career at FC Sochaux-Montbéliard and, after two seasons in Ligue 2, joined Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg in August 2020. He spent four seasons at the Volkswagen Arena before moving to Premier League side Crystal Palace in August 2024. Lacroix made 43 appearances for Palace last season, helping the club secure a 12th-place finish and a historic FA Cup win over Manchester City. Although the victory initially earned Palace qualification for the UEFA Champions League, the club were later demoted to the UEFA Conference League in favour of Olympique Lyonnais. Tottenham are preparing for a return to the UEFA Champions League after their UEFA Europa League victory in May 2025 – beating Manchester United 1-0 in the final. GFFN | Ed Marsh

Andy Diouf favours Crystal Palace move, despite Burnley agreement
As reported by RMC Sport, Burnley have reached an agreement with RC Lens regarding the transfer of Andy Diouf (22). However, the France youth international favours a move to one of their Premier League rivals, according to L'Équipe. Diouf is a long-term target for Crystal Palace and the Frenchman favours a move to the London club over Burnley, recently promoted back to the Premier League. The Clarets, unlike Crystal Palace, have an agreement in place with Les Sang et Or for a transfer worth €18m. Advertisement At this point, it looks highly likely that Diouf will leave Lens and that he will be playing in the Premier League next season. The question remains where. L'Équipe understands that Crystal Palace is seemingly the player's priority, however, the club have yet to reach an agreement with Les Sang et Or or the player. The France U21 international's current deal with Lens runs until the summer of 2028. GFFN | Luke Entwistle

Former Strasbourg defender Thomas Delaine to join Le Havre
Former RC Strasbourg Alsace defender Thomas Delaine (33) is set to join Le Havre AC on a free transfer, according to a report from L'Équipe. Le Havre, since the completion of Blue Crow's takeover of the club (pending DNCG approval) earlier this month, have sought to be active in the transfer market. Godson Kyeremeh and Mory Diaw have arrived, whilst Lionel Mpasi is set to arrive as a back-up goalkeeper. Advertisement Le Havre are now looking to continue their recruitment drive through the signing of Delaine. The defender left Strasbourg after three seasons this summer. His age profile was not in fitting with the BlueCo project and therefore he was not renewed. Last season, he played just two matches in Ligue 1, accumulating a mere eight minutes of playing time. However, Delaine will bring plenty of Ligue 1 experience to Le Havre. The defender has 115 matches in the top flight. He is expected in Le Havre imminently. GFFN | Luke Entwistle

Nantes make offer for South Korea international Hyun-seok Hong
FC Nantes have made an offer for South Korean international Hyun-seok Hong (26), according to Sky Sports Germany. The attacking midfielder currently plays for Mainz 05. Hong joined Mainz in August 2024 and has made 24 appearances for the Bundesliga club. Hong's current contract expires in 2028, having joined Mainz for a €4m fee. The report does not indicate the value of Nantes' initial offer. Advertisement Hong began his career in Germany at Unterhaching before moving to Austria with LASK. He then spent two years at Gent before earning a move to the German top flight. He has, however, struggled for game time since moving to Mainz, which has alerted potential suitors such as Nantes. Hyun-seok Hong has 14 senior caps for South Korea. He was also a member of the U23 South Korean squad that won gold at the Asian games – a victory that earned him exemption from mandatory military service. GFFN | Ed Marsh

OGC Nice's Marcin Bulka unenthused by Galatasaray move
Marcin Bulka (25) looks highly likely to leave OGC Nice this summer. The Polish goalkeeper, a key player for Le Gym over the past two seasons, has been in talks over a contract renewal. However, towards the start of last season, those talks hit a brick wall. There has been a deadlock ever since, and there is little optimism over a renewal of talks. Determined not to lose him on a free next summer, Nice are looking to sell Bulka during the ongoing transfer window. Initial interest in Le Gym's No.1 has come from Turkey and more specifically from Galatasaray, according to a report from L'Équipe. Advertisement However, the publication understands that Bulka himself is not particularly enthused by a move to the Turkish club, even if they will be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season. Galatasaray would be willing to spend €20m on the goalkeeper. Local rivals AS Monaco have also been cited as a potential destination by Foot Mercato. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
