DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The grandmother of the missing 8-year-old boy, Hershall Creachbaum — who is assumed to be the boy whose body was discovered last evening — has told 2 NEWS about how this tragedy has affected her. 'I'm lost for words, my innocent grandson's life was taken by a monster,' wrote Missy Rowland Creachbaum. 'I want justice, I'm devastated and heartbroken.' She continued and named a possible suspect and person close to them. 2 NEWS is choosing not to name either until official confirmation from law enforcement. 'I haven't slept, I can't close my eyes,' wrote Rowland-Creachbaum. 'I see my baby boy, then [Person A and Person B's] faces pop up, so I can't close my eyes.' Recently, a person of interest was taken into custody after Dayton Police and Fire discovered a body believed to be a missing 8-year-old. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office will make the final determination as to whether the body is that of Hershall Creachbaum, who had been missing since early Saturday morning. Officials said Creachbaum, a non-verbal person with autism, went missing from the 400 block of Xenia Avenue at approximately 3:30 a.m. He uses a wheelchair but can walk short distances. The wheelchair had been found previously. The investigation remains active and ongoing. 2 NEWS is following the situation closely. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. 'Cut Him' - NFL Rookie Second-Round Pick Arrested On Scary Charges
'Cut Him' - NFL Rookie Second-Round Pick Arrested On Scary Charges originally appeared on The Spun. Things appear to be going off the rails for one NFL player who hasn't even signed his rookie contract yet. Advertisement An arrest report available online shows that Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested in Broward County, Florida. The charges are listed as "TOUCH OR STRIKE/BATTERY/DOMESTIC VIOL(ENCE)." The date of birth and mugshot are a match for the former Ohio State Buckeyes running back, leaving little room for doubt. Given that the charges appear to include some form of domestic violence, Judkins' NFL career could be in jeopardy before it even begins. As you might expect, NFL fans were extremely disappointed to see Judkins get involved in something like this. Some decided to have a joke at the Browns' expense. Advertisement "Couldn't even wait til his rookie contract was signed," one user lamented. "Cut him before preseason starts if the allegations are true," another demanded. "If found guilty he should lose the right to play in the NFL for the rest of his life!" a third said. "Buddy should have focused more on the game instead of engaging in violence outside the game." "Ruining your career before it even gets started." (Photo by)It certainly doesn't help that Judkins hasn't even signed his rookie contract with the Browns yet. Judkins and many other second-round draft picks are currently in disputes with their teams over the amount of money guaranteed by the contract. Advertisement Regardless of how quickly Judkins can get this issue behind him, the arrest itself is likely to eviscerate his leverage in any contract talks. And that's assuming that the Browns don't decide that he isn't worth a contract at all. Whether or not he signs with the Browns next week or next month, he's going to be subject to discipline from the league. Judkins could be facing up to a six-game for his actions. The Browns took Judkins No. 36 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft following three standout college seasons at Ole Miss and Ohio State. He was a two-time All-SEC running back for the Rebels and won numerous accolades under Lane Kiffin while setting school records as a true freshman. Advertisement At Ohio State, he worked in tandem with TreVeyon Henderson to give the Buckeyes one of the nation's most formidable backfields en route to winning a national title. A suspect shot and wounded a state trooper near a Kentucky airport on Sunday before fleeing to a nearby church, killing two women and wounding two men. At 11.36am ET on Sunday, an unidentified shooter opened fire near Blue Grass airport in Lexington and wounded a state trooper, according to authorities. The shooting occurred after the trooper had pulled over a vehicle after receiving a license plate reader alert in the area of Versailles Road, Lexington police said. The suspect carjacked a vehicle in the 3700 block of Belleau Wood Drive before fleeing the scene. The suspect then fled to Richmond Road Baptist church where four individuals were shot. Two women were pronounced dead at the scene and two other men were transported to a local hospital. According to media reports, the women killed were 72 years old and 32 years old. Additionally, one of the men who was injured was reported to have sustained critical injuries while the other was reported to be in stable condition. 'Preliminary information indicates that the suspect may have had a connection to individuals at the church,' Lexington police said, adding that the Fayette county coroner's office will release the deceased victims' information. Police added that the suspect was shot by responding law enforcement and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police added that information about the suspect will be released after their family is notified. Meanwhile, the state trooper is currently being treated at a nearby hospital. 'Three Lexington Police Officers fired their service weapons. In accordance with Lexington Police Department policies, the officers had their issued body-worn cameras (BWCs) activated. The incident is being investigated by the Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team, and the department's Public Integrity Unit will conduct an internal review of the incident,' Lexington police said. The police department added that as per policy, the officers will be placed on administrative assignment pending the outcome of the investigation. In a statement online, Kentucky's governor, Andy Beshear, said: 'Violence like this has no place in our commonwealth or country. Please join [my wife] Britainy and me as we pray for the families of those lost, each one a child of God gone too soon. Thank you to the @lexkypolice and @kystatepolice for their brave efforts today.' 'Kentucky, let's stand strong together and support our Lexington neighbors during this difficult time,' he added.
