Mobile teams for homeless children across all corporation areas in state
The team aims to understand the background of the children, provide need-based services, carry out health check-ups, and enrol them in schools to ensure they are not deprived of health and education.
According to Sunil Dusane, women and child development officer, Nashik, "The state govt has decided on one team for each of the corporations across the state, and Nashik is one of the beneficiaries." The officer pointed out that a team was appointed way back in 2023 in Nashik city as part of the pilot project for six months when it carried out the exercise.
Every city will have one team with a school bus, counsellor, teacher, and caretaker.
The school bus is equipped with a CCTV camera, GPS, TV set for entertainment of children, and indoor games like a carrom board, etc. "We found 285 children, including 121 boys, who needed attention. Proper reports were prepared about every individual, and the same was documented with the govt. Many of them got Aadhaar cards and other certificates delivered to them through the various services offered," said Sonali Shahane, counsellor of the team active in Nashik then.
The teacher-member of the team was engaged in teaching the students, preparing them before enrolment in schools. "Since these children are not in school, they are first taught during the sessions in the 'school bus'. Later, they are admitted to the nearest NMC school," said Madhure Kanawade, a teacher.

Annadata Sukhibhava–PM KISAN Scheme beneficiary list declared
In a move to ensure transparency and ease of access for farmers, the Department of Agriculture of Andhra Pradesh government has released the list of eligible beneficiaries under the Annadata Sukhibhava–PM KISAN scheme. The lists have been made available at Rythu Seva Kendras (RSKs) across the State, according to S. Dilli Rao, Director of Agriculture. In a statement on Tuesday, he said that farmers are advised to visit their respective RSKs to check the list and can obtain a printed copy of their eligibility details. For farmers who believe they are eligible but do not find their names in the list, a grievance redressal mechanism has been activated. Such farmers can submit an application with the supporting documents at their local RSK. The officials will register the grievance on the Annadata Sukhibhava Portal. The facility will be available until July 13, he said. To further streamline the process, the department has introduced multiple digital touchpoints such as Know Your Status. Farmers can log into the Annadata Sukhibhava portal and enter their Aadhaar number to verify their eligibility. Farmers can also send their Aadhaar number via WhatsApp to Mana Mitra Helpline 9552300009 to receive their status on their mobile phones, he added.
