Rivals Five-Star: How solid are the committed prospects in Indianapolis?

INDIANAPOLIS - There was an abundance of committed prospects going through check-in at the Rivals Five-Star so Rivals national recruiting director Adam Gorney gauges how committed they are heading out of the busy June visit schedule:
RECRUITING INTEL FROM INDIANAPOLIS: Mid-South | Florida | West | Southeast
LIVE FROM RIVALS FIVE-STAR MEDIA DAY: All the news, notes and interviews
RIVALS FIVE-STAR EVENT: Roster | Ten prospects to watch closely | Ten matchups we can't wait to see | ACC programs in the spotlight | Big Ten programs in the spotlight | SEC programs in the spotlight | Key QB storylines | Key RB storylines | Key WR storylines | Key TE storylines | Key OL storylines | Key DL storylines | Key LB storylines | Key DB storylines | Rivals Five-Star heading back to Indy
The four-star defensive back from Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines has been committed to Michigan since last July but in-state programs are not giving up. Miami and Florida have remained aggressive with Jennings, who had to postpone his Georgia official visit because of his father's passing, and if he ends up visiting Athens again then that would be one to watch as well.

The Saline, Mich., four-star tight end committed to Georgia in November and he reaffirmed his pledge at the Rivals Five-Star. Even though he lives in Ann Arbor, the Bulldogs beat Michigan and others and with Mark Bowman's commitment to USC, Keyes' pledge is even stronger.

UCLA was making a massive push to flip the four-star edge rusher from Lawndale (Calif.) Leuzinger but after his weekend visit to Texas A&M, Moala has shut down his recruitment. He's sticking with the Aggies and won't take any other visits as he'll be an edge rusher in College Station as the Bruins and Washington worked to flip him.

Clemson, Penn State and Michigan were the finalists for Scruggs but once the four-star offensive lineman committed to the Tigers, his recruitment was basically over. The Leesburg (GVa.) Loudoun County standout admitted that his recruitment basically came down to Clemson and Penn State but he 'grew up a Clemson kid' and so it was going to be tough to beat.

The Nashville (Tenn.) Donelson Christian Academy four-star tight end has been committed to Tennessee since last August but Florida is making a major push in his recruitment. North Carolina and Ole Miss are also involved but this will come down to whether the Vols can convince Sneed to stay in the class or whether everything the Gators have been pushing convince the four-star to flip. Florida seems to have a very real shot here.

The four-star offensive tackle from San Francisco (Calif.) Riordan committed to Cal in early June but only a few days later, Tofi took a visit to Oregon and loved it. While Tofi remains committed to the Golden Bears, his brother plays there and he loves the heavy Polynesian culture, the Ducks are definitely intriguing him and has given him a ton to consider.

In early May, Wesley jumped in a pool with Oregon coach Dan Lanning to announce his commitment from the Ducks. Shortly after, Wesley backed off that pledge after not clearing the commitment with those close to him. A few weeks later, the five-star defensive end from Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon has now made a pledge to Texas after his weekend visit. It looks locked in and Wesley very much feels like he's done with recruiting now.

Wise is all business. The four-star interior offensive lineman from Pace, Fla., is a big-time weight lifter with a big-time reputation because he hasn't given up a sack in three seasons (and he predicted he wouldn't give up one in his senior season). Clemson landed his commitment in March and while Oregon especially along with Miami, Alabama and Tennessee impressed him, he's not looking around and isn't playing games with his recruitment.

College Football News writer Peter Fiutak makes a win total prediction for Clemson in 2025

Where does Clemson football land in 2026 national recruiting rankings after busy month? Under Dabo Swinney, Clemson football heads into another season with playoff hopes — but the betting line isn't quite as high as the national chatter suggests. The Tigers' win total is set at 9.5, which they've only topped once in the past three seasons after dominating that mark during their mid-2010s run. College Football News' Pete Fiutak actually places his projection a tick lower at nine wins, yet he isn't dismissing what this roster can do. 'The Tigers will know right out of the gate if they're for real,' Fiutak said, pointing to the huge early showdown with LSU. From there, he sees enough tricky matchups to test Clemson's focus but thinks this team can still reach the College Football Playoff without an ACC title if it handles its business. A major piece of the puzzle is whether the defensive front can look more like the unit that anchored Clemson's last national championship. Fiutak highlights how in 2018 'no one averaged over four yards per carry' against that front, but last season the Tigers were gashed on the ground far too often. He noted that four teams — Texas, Georgia, South Carolina and Louisville — all averaged more than six yards per carry and beat Clemson as a result. On offense, Fiutak says the line has to be the foundation. Four starters return, with Blake Miller and Walker Parks both landing in his top 10 Clemson players. 'The skill guys get all of the love and attention, but if Clemson is going to have an expected huge season offensively, it starts with the line loaded with All-ACC-caliber talents,' Fiutak said. The backfield is another question mark. Freshman Gideon Davidson is viewed as a potential difference-maker, especially if Jay Haynes can't bounce back from his knee injury. Fiutak thinks Cade Klubnik's growth as a runner helps, but Clemson will need Davidson to be ready if they want to lean on the ground game late in the year. In the bigger picture, Fiutak frames 2025 as a test for Swinney's patient, recruit-and-develop blueprint. 'Maybe this is how you're really supposed to do it… Maybe it just took a few years to get here,' he said. For a program chasing its old standard in a new era, Clemson has a chance to prove its way still works. Notre Dame gets a prediction to land ‘26 DL Elijah Golden, who will commit on July 26th

Rivals' @JohnGarcia_Jr has logged an expert prediction for Notre Dame to land 4-star DL Elijah Golden☘️Read: The decision date is coming for 2026 Florida defensive lineman Elijah Golden, and it's starting to look very good for Notre Dame to add him to its recruiting class. On Friday, Rivals John Garcia Jr. put in an expert prediction from the Irish to be the pick when the 6-foot, 4-inch and 275-pound prospect makes his decision on July 26th. Golden will also have the hats of Alabama, Oklahoma and Virginia Tech on the table, but at this moment Notre Dame is in a great position. They currently have Tiki Hola committed on the interior of the defensive line, and would love to add Golden to the fold later this month. He's ranked as the nation's No. 185 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, and will participate in multiple high school All-Star games once this coming season ends.
