And a new update this week suggests Apple could bring multiple upgrades to the 17 Pro series. Most of the details shared by the tipster with MacRumors hints at big changes for the iPhone 17 Pro which could finally give it the armory to go up against other camera spec-heavy devices in the segment.
The tipster quoted in the report claims to know the company that will be making the iPhone 17 Pro ad. He claims Apple will offer a new telephoto lens with up to 8x optical zoom which is higher than the 5x optical range available with the iPhone 16 Pro models.

Apple could add another camera control button which could sit on the top edge of the iPhones that will give you easy access to the camera. You've already got one button for the cameras on the bottom right near the power button so we're not sure why Apple wants to bring another button for the same function.
Apple could bring a full set of 48MP sensors for its triple camera system with this year's iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models. The overall The 17 Pro camera setup is likely to get a LiDAR scanner, along with a trio of 48MP sensors, which could be the periscope telephoto lens.
iPhone's selfie game has been behind the rivals but the 24MP TrueDepth sensor on the front could lighten up the competition.

AI Has A Solution To Modern-Day Waterlogging, Courtesy Of Ancient Wisdom

Last Updated: The AI-generated video shows how waterlogging can be curbed by blending modern practices with traditional systems. The monsoon season can be a menace at times, especially in India. Over the past few days, cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Kolkata have been reeling under torrential rain. Besides traffic woes, the constant downpour has led to severe waterlogging in certain areas, making it risky for commuters and residents alike. Several footage have gone viral showcasing the aftermath of excessive rainfall. But here's the interesting part: what if the solution to all this waterlogging lies in ancient water harvesting systems? Utilising Excess Rainwater Into A Valuable Resource Recently, an AI-generated video has surfaced on social media that has sparked intrigue among social media users. It shows how waterlogging can be curbed by blending modern practices with traditional systems and ultimately transforming surplus rainwater into a valuable resource. The clip offers a visual guide on how to utilise excess rainwater by presenting a few innovative ideas with their roots back in the bygone era. Some of the options mentioned in the clip include rainwater channels for flood-free streets that could efficiently redirect excess water, eco-friendly smart drains for filtering and channelling rainwater while preventing plastic and waste from clogging the system, and rainwater storage systems that could ease the pressure on groundwater sources. Meanwhile, if rooftop rainwater harvesting is implemented in residential societies, it could significantly boost self-sufficiency in water usage. Additionally, traffic control towers equipped with weather monitoring devices might be a cutting-edge innovation in urban planning. Reason? The towers could aid in regulating traffic during heavy rain, issue alerts, and monitor water levels in real time. The clip also shows a futuristic vision of what a dedicated rain command and traffic control room would look like. This centralised hub, if ever built, will be beneficial during emergencies, coordinating with teams and ensuring that communication isn't disrupted during weather-related upheavals. The side note read, 'As India battles waterlogging and floods, AI imagines innovative water harvesting systems, blending ancient wisdom with modern technology to turn excess rain into a resource." Although it is still a distant thought now, the idea is indeed a fresh perspective on tackling waterlogging. Microsoft sets new record! Surpasses Tim Cook's Apple to become...., Satya Nadella's IT giant value reaches to....

In a significant milestone for the tech community, Microsoft surpassed a $4 trillion market value for the first time in history. Microsoft has now joined NVIDIA as the only two publicly traded companies to reach this market value. The spike came after the stock market closed on July 30, 2025, when Microsoft's stock rose approximately 8-9 per cent, bringing its total market value to nearly $4.1 trillion during after-hours trading. As a result, Microsoft has emerged as the second most valuable company in the world, surpassing iPhone maker Apple in valuation. What helped Microsoft cross the $4 trillion market cap? According to the media reports, Microsoft's stock soared after the company reported strong results for the fiscal fourth quarter, with revenue up 18 per cent over a year earlier at $76.4 billion and net income up 24% to $27.2 billion. Microsoft's growth continues to be fueled primarily by growing demand for artificial intelligence-powered cloud services. A key takeaway from Microsoft's earnings report was an update on Azure and its cloud business, for the first time revealing its annual revenue reached over $75 billion with growth of 34 per cent year-over-year. Azure's growth is estimated to be between 34% to 39% from many sources. This indicates that Microsoft is at the forefront of enterprise AI and cloud infrastructure. How much did Microsoft's revenue and profit increase last quarter? Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO, credited the company's remarkable performance to advancements in AI and cloud-related technologies. He pointed out that Microsoft AI products including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Azure AI Services, are quickly changing the way organizations operate. In the meantime, Microsoft also disclosed its plans for the future. Essentially, it expects to invest $30 billion in capital expenditures in the next quarter, with an estimated annual capital spending of $120 billion. The goal is to bolster its AI framework. How is Satya Nadella shaping Microsoft's future? Apple – whose flagship products are the iPhone and iMac – was once the most valuable company in the world. Apple now trails with its market capitalization sitting at $3.2 trillion. The reason for this is that Apple does not have a distinct advantage in terms of artificial intelligence, and this has impacted investors' perception of the company's future. Who still holds the top spot as the most valuable company? NVIDIA, which was the first company to surpass the $4 trillion threshold in July, remains the most valuable company in the world. Its meteoric rise in value has come from its focus largely on AI technologies, but now, as Microsoft finds its footing as a leader in AI platforms, it is threatening NVIDIA's throne.
