Trump ally is being evicted from luxury DC penthouse after whopping $85K in debt exposed
Mills, 45, has been staying at a swanky D.C. apartment building that overlooks the Potomac River in the capital's bustling southwest neighborhood.
It's the same residence that D.C. police responded to after the congressman's girlfriend reported him to authorities for allegedly assaulting her, though she later recanted her complaint.
Now, the property manager claims that the sophomore lawmaker owes over $85,000 in rent, according to local court filings first reported by journalist Roger Sollenberger.
Documents from D.C.'s superior court show that the Republican has failed to pay his $20,000 per month rent on time, and in some cases, missed certain payments altogether.
Mills' office did not respond to the Daily Mail's request for comment. The congressman did, however, speak to Sollenberger, telling him the link to pay his rent was broken, the journalist wrote on X.
According to a ledger of rent payments obtained by the journalist, Mills has been late on rent 18 times, including not paying rent at all certain months.
He has also payed back some of the missing months, though he still owes the property $85,000 for 'total rent due' from March 2025 to July 2025, according to the court documents.
The files allege that Mills was first given a notice for failure to pay in January.
The eviction is just the latest rocky headline for the Florida Republican.
It was revealed that Mills, who is married with two kids, was embroiled in a domestic dispute with a woman who is not his wife in February. The congressman is in the midst of getting a divorce from his wife Rana Al Saadi, he has said.
Sarah Raviani, a co-founder of Iranians for Trump, phoned the police after '(Her significant other for over a year) grabbed her, shoved her, and pushed her out of the door' of his apartment, a copy of the initial incident report obtained by NBC claims.
Raviani showed 'bruises on her arm which appeared fresh', the report stated, in addition to claiming that Mills instructed her to lie to authorities about what took place.
However, Raviani told the Daily Mail in a statement earlier this year that 'no assault took place' and downplayed the incident.
She also shared that Mills is a Christian who actively attends church and regularly prays - an admission meant to bat down allegations that the congressman may not be as devout as he has led some to believe.
A report from The Blaze earlier this year casted doubt on Mills' Christian faith. An anonymous source close to Mills revealed to the outlet that the Republican became a practicing Muslim after marrying his wife in a traditional ceremony at a Islamic center close to D.C.

The cleric who officiated the wedding is reportedly an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Reports further indicate that the officiator, Mohammad Al-Hanooti, was a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and a fundraiser for Hamas.
Mills, meanwhile, is a conservative Christian who represents a fairly red district along the Florida coast.
The Republican has explained the wedding administered by Al-Hanooti was meant to protect his wife as she traveled to Iraq to visit an ailing relative.
She 'would've been arrested' without documentation of her religious marriage to Mills, the congressman told The Blaze.
Al-Hanooti, was sick at the time and died 'months' after the wedding, Mills recounted. 'I don't know the damn guy.'

Former US Marine Corps reservist charged in Texas immigration detention center shooting
A former U.S. Marine Corps reservist has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with an attack at a Texas immigration detention center in which a police officer was shot in the neck, federal prosecutors said Tuesday. Benjamin Hanil Song, 32, is the latest person charged in the Fourth of July assault in which attackers dressed in black military-style clothing opened fire outside the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, southwest of Dallas, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas. Song, from Dallas, was arrested after a weeklong search and has been charged with three counts of attempted murder of federal agents and three counts of discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence, the office said in a statement. He is accused of purchasing four of the guns linked to the attack, it said. U.S. District Court records do not list names of attorneys representing Song or scheduled court appearances. U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas did not immediately respond to an email asking whether Song has an attorney. The officer wounded in the attack has since been released from the hospital. Ten people, most of them from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, have previously been charged with attempted murder of a federal officer and discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence. Correctional officers called 911 and an Alvarado police officer responded and someone in the woods opened fire. North Carolina teenager suffers unimaginable horror while sunbathing at the beach
A 15-year-old girl was hospitalized after a pickup truck performing beach survey work ran over her legs while she was sunbathing on a public beach in Oak Island, authorities confirmed. The incident occurred around 2:11 p.m. on July 14 when Oak Island Public Safety officials responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle operating on the sand between Keziah Street and Womble Street. The teen, whose identity has not been released, was evaluated on-scene for possible non-life-threatening injuries and later transported to Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia for further evaluation 'out of caution,' officials said. The vehicle - a 2020 GMC pickup - belongs to TI Coastal Services, a private contractor conducting beach survey work for engineering firm Moffatt & Nichol, according to a press release from the Town of Oak Island. The work is part of preparations for the 2025–26 Beach Nourishment Project, which includes land and sea surveying. Police have not indicated whether any charges are being considered against the driver. Town officials have since addressed growing misinformation online, stating clearly that the Oak Island Beach Safety Unit was not involved in the incident. 'It has been erroneously reported on social media and other platforms that this accident was caused by the Town's Beach Safety Unit during its regular patrols. This information is false and should not be shared,' the town said in a statement. The terrifying incident comes just months after pair of teens, 14 and 15 years old were run over by a lifeguard at Nokomis Beach in Sarasota County. The two teens were lying on the beach when the lifeguard who was driving a Ford-150 pickup truck 'was moving slowly over the crest of the berm,' The guard told Fox13 at the time that he 'never saw any obstructions,' adding that 'his view was very limited by the hood of the pickup truck.' He told the outlet that he 'felt two bumps and stopped, realizing he had struck something, and he saw that he had run over two juveniles as he opened the truck's door. Both were lying down in the sand at an angle.' The beach staffer then immediately called 911 and began rendering aid to the injured teens. One teen was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, complaining of pain in her neck, left shoulder, left side and left hip, Fox13 reported. The other teen was taken by Aeromed to All Children's Hospital. She advised that she heard the truck coming, but believed the sound was coming from the parking lot to the East rather than the beach to the west of them. The teen's mother said she suffered a broken pelvis and was being kept overnight to evaluate the status of her lungs and liver.
