Starvation Death Toll Reaches At Least 133 in Gaza
According to the Palestinian news agency, Gaza recorded six starvation-related deaths in the past 24 hours, including two children.
The staggering number adds to the overall child death toll of 87, who have died from severe malnutrition.
'The humanitarian situation in the region remains critical as malnutrition cases continue to flood Gaza's medical facilities, due to the Israeli policy of starvation imposed on the enclave,' Wafa news agency reported.
Official estimates confirmed that 900,000 children in Gaza suffer from starvation. Of them, over 70,000 children are suffering from critical, and often irreversible, levels of malnutrition.
This comes as the IOF continues its genocidal agenda in Gaza. Reports today said that Israel killed at least 13 Palestinians , including two children. IOF opened fire on people waiting for humanitarian aid in northern and southern Gaza, a crime that has become horrifically routine.
Reports account that six of the civilians were murdered near an aid distribution center in Khan Younis. Six others were killed by gunfire on the outskirts of Rafah, and at least one victim was killed in the Netzarim Corridor.
The number of people that the IOF has killed mercilessly since October 7, 2023, has now reached 59,733 people, with over 144,477 wounded.
'This figure remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams due to the relentless shelling and massive amount of debris,' Wafa reported. Tags: Aid looting GazaGaza starvation

Gaza Starvation Death Toll Reaches 114 as More Children Are Irreversibly Malnourished
Rabat — Gaza recorded tragedy amid the Israeli-induced famine in the enclave, as yet another child starved to death this morning. Wafa news agency said medical staff at the Al-Ahli Baptist hospital confirmed the death of the young boy due to severe malnutrition, while Gaza continues to suffer through a growing humanitarian catastrophe. The same source quoted medical reports, which confirmed that over 900,000 children in Gaza are now experiencing starvation. Alarmingly, 70,000 of them reached the stage of clinical malnutrition. The death toll due to starvation now sits at 114 people. The desperate situation is even more exacerbated by the spread of illnesses, including water-related diseases, across Gaza. International NGO Oxfam launched an appeal, warning against the deteriorating situation in the enclave. The organization reported that watery diarrhea and bloody diarrhea in the region increased significantly over the past three months without urgent intervention. According to Wafa agency, Oxfam said the recorded data 'may not fully capture the scale of the crisis.' Amid starvation and diseases, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continue their genocidal assaults on defenseless civilians. Al Jazeera reported that Israeli attacks killed at least 11 Palestinians since dawn, including four aid seekers.

Forced Starvation in Gaza Rises to 113
Rabat – The number of reported deaths due to forced starvation imposed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Palestinians in Gaza reached 113. NGOs and aid communities are raising alarm over worsening conditions, urging an international intervention as two new deaths due to famine were recorded in the past 24 hours. Gaza's Government Media Office said the enclave is in dire need of bags of flour, urging a global intervention to end the crisis and to avoid a 'comprehensive humanitarian collapse.' The office stressed that Gaza needs 'no less than 500,000 bags of flour per week,' to avoid famine and malnutrition amid the Israeli blockade. 'We call on all countries of the world, without exception, to immediately break the siege, permanently open the crossings, and allow the entry of baby milk and aid to more than 2.4 million people besieged in the Gaza Strip,' the office said. Al Jazeera reported that three aid seekers are among dozens of Palestinians killed since dawn, quoting correspondents, who describe the situation in the region as 'nothing short of horrific.' 'We see a dramatic surge of acute malnutrition among children, specifically below the age of five. The bodies look visibly very thin. Those children should be learning, growing; instead, they are lying weak in shelters, tents or hospitals,' Al Jazeera quoted its journalist Tareq Abu Azzoum as saying. The Palestinian Ministry of Health issued a statement today, calling for the protection of trucks expected to enter Gaza with medical supplies. 'The items expected to arrive are of great importance and urgent need to continue providing medical care to the wounded and sick and save lives,' the ministry said. IOF's genocidal war on Gaza has killed over 202,000 Palestinians since October 2023. Over 9,000 remain missing while tens of thousands are injured, and millions are facing famine and malnutrition.
