Backstreet Boys return to Vegas, hint at NSYNC reunion
The show will feature 24 songs, including the full Millennium album, fan favorites, and a new single titled 'Hey.'
Designed with immersive visuals, the performance will incorporate 4D effects, a 350-foot LED screen, and over 167,000 speakers. AJ McLean described the show as 'next-level,' with one segment being 'very cold and intense,' and noted that Kevin Richardson may become emotional onstage.
As part of their return to the spotlight, the group is also addressing fan interest in a possible NSYNC collaboration.
Nick Carter confirmed in an interview with Parade that discussions have taken place with management teams. 'We've talked about it a ton, actually,' he said.
Joey Fatone has also publicly expressed interest, though NSYNC has not announced any reunion or joint plans. For now, both groups appear open to the idea, but no collaboration is scheduled.
This residency marks the first time a pop group will headline at the Sphere, following previous acts like U2 and Dead & Company.
The Backstreet Boys say they hope to honor their past while introducing new material using the venue's advanced production technology.
The focus remains on the upcoming shows and new music, with potential crossovers still in the discussion phase.

Sydney Sweeney helps spike denim profits
Sweeney's campaign is the company's most expensive. Photo: File American Eagle Outfitter surged 10 per cent on Thursday after unveiling a new denim campaign with Sydney Sweeney, as the apparel retailer bets on the Euphoria and The White Lotus actor to reconnect with Gen Z shoppers and boost sales. The company has partnered with Sweeney for its fall season denim collection that includes a limited-edition denim jacket as well as a "The Sydney Jean." The campaign, called "Sydney Sweeney Has Great (American Eagle) Jeans," is the company's latest effort to revive demand as it navigates muted consumer spending and higher potential costs due to tariffs. The retail industry in the United States has been struggling to spur demand as consumers grappling with financial constraints cut back on non-essential buys, including apparel and accessories. In May, American Eagle, which primarily sources from China, pulled its annual forecasts due to tariff uncertainty. "(The campaign) is its bid to stand out more and make some noise. Denim is popular right now, so putting money behind marketing makes sense for American Eagle," GlobalData managing director Neil Saunders said. The Sweeney partnership is not the first time a celebrity tie-up has helped drive shares of a company. In 2020, Crocs shares jumped after singer Justin Bieber teased a collaboration with the shoe maker. American Eagle has previously teamed up with celebrities, including tennis player Coco Gauff and actor Jenna Ortega. "Well known personalities are always an easier way to tell a story quickly. It is one of the reasons athlete endorsements work so well," BMO Capital Markets analyst Simeon Siegel said. Sweeney's campaign, which launched on Wednesday and is reportedly the company's most expensive campaign to date, will also run across the exosphere of Las Vegas's 3D display orb Sphere. American Eagle's stock was discussed on retail trader-focused social media forums including Stocktwits and Reddit, indicating interest among small-time traders who have driven up shares of retailer Kohl's and other highly shorted names in recent days.

Did Zac Brown just put a ring on her? Fans can't believe it
Zac Brown has shocked fans with an unexpected engagement to jewellery mogul Kendra Scott, and the internet isn't quite sure what to make of it. The country music frontman, 46, and the designer, 51, revealed they're engaged on July 24, just months after debuting their romance at the 2025 American Music Awards. Their statement was simple, 'We are so happy and grateful that we found each other,' but the response online was anything but. Photos of Scott's massive pink diamond ring sparked immediate chatter, but it was the speed and surprise of the announcement that truly had fans spinning. Social media lit up within minutes. One stunned follower wrote, 'What in the chicken fried just happened?' a wink to Brown's most famous track. Another quipped, 'Didn't he just sue his ex?' That ex would be model Kelly Yazdi, whom Brown married and separated from in 2023. Their split turned messy, culminating in a 2024 defamation lawsuit filed by Brown. Meanwhile, Scott brings her own layered past, three previous marriages and three children with two ex-husbands. Despite the complex relationship timelines, the couple appears unfazed. The engagement comes just as the Zac Brown Band kicks off a major residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, running through January 2026. Many fans were caught off guard not only by the sudden proposal, but by the pairing itself. The two met through mutual friends and kept their relationship quiet until their red carpet 'hard launch' in May. Now, with matching smiles and a headline-making rock, they're stepping into the spotlight as a couple and not everyone saw it coming. Whether this next chapter is a fairytale or a firestorm remains to be seen, but one thing's certain: no one expected this.
