Coronation Street and Emmerdale episodes are now on YouTube
The two ITV soaps announced that episodes broadcast that night are now available on YouTube from 7am.
It follows the early release of episodes on ITV's streaming platform ITVX from October last year, as part of ITV's strategy to offer viewers the 'ultimate choice in how they watch'.

The move comes after ITV announced that a crossover episode between both soaps was in the works, with the hour-long special set to air next year.
In a tweet from the official Corrie and Emmerdale X (Twitter) accounts yesterday (June 29), it read: "Soap fans, rejoice! Starting tomorrow, full episodes will be available on YouTube from 7am — the same day they air on TV! #Corrie #Emmerdale @ITV"
Both of the soaps official YouTube channels currently have 'video exclusives, all the news, storylines and spoilers from the show".

'We'll also have behind the scenes videos and interviews with the cast to share with you, so make sure you don't miss out,' the accounts state.
Taking to Twitter, fans shared their excitement at the announcement.
One person wrote: 'Fantastic that we'll now have more choice!'
Another added: 'This is awesome news – and starting from this week too. Fab!'
While others were concerned about spoilers.
One person said: 'Another reason to avoid this [soap] hashtag till 8pm or later.'
Fans were also alerted last week to changes in TV schedules that could affect soap timings this week.

Tonight (June 30), Coronation Street viewers will be able to watch the soap at 8pm and on Wednesday, July 2, it will also air at 8pm.
On Friday, July 4, there will be no new episode to watch.

'It's crucial that owners take proactive steps to train their pets and ensure they are secure. If a dog has displayed signs of violent behaviour, ensure its kept on a lead in public and maybe even muzzled.' There were 30,539 offences of a dog injuring a person or guide dog in 2023, up from 25,291 in 2022, according to police data. 'Not all dog attacks are reported to the police, so the actual number of incidents could be higher,' Ms O'Donnnell added. 'Attacks should be reported as soon as possible, so steps are taken to ensure the owner of the dog takes responsibility for their pet. 'Owners need to ensure they have adequate pet insurance, that includes third party liability. 'This means if a dog did cause harm to another person, the owner can afford to compensate the victim.' Emmerdale star returns to ITV show months after vanishing
Fans were left in the dark when cleaner Lydia Dingle, played by English actress Karen Blick, failed to appear for her own birthday party after leaving the village without any notice. The character was last seen in March and even then only appeared for a single episode after 'silently exiting' the show in February. Now, the character has made her long-awaited return, according to The Sun newspaper. Walking into the cafe, she runs into Joe Tate, who makes a joke to her about dusting before she shuts down the ITV character. After reuniting with her old friend Kim Tate, Lydia tells her confidant that she has been away caring for her mother, who has apparently fallen ill. Lydia told her: 'Well, she's back to bossing me about and giving me the running commentary on every last twinge.' She added that she would not be back permanently and that she would be leaving again soon to continue her caring duties. "I'll be to-ing and fro-ing a bit, but she's definitely on the mend,' she said. Karen Blick is an English actress from Leeds in West Yorkshire, according to Emmerdale's official fan wiki. She took on the role of Lydia Dingle all the way back in 2016, but initially appeared in Emmerdale in 2006 as an unnamed nurse. Born in 1974, she has starred in a number of programmes besides Emmerdale over her long career. She appeared in a 2004 TV show called No Angels as well as a programme called Nomads.
