Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is set to return to Channel 4 with a star-studded line-up facing a number of gruelling challenges
A fresh instalment of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is set to hit our screens imminently, with instructor Jason Fox disclosing which celebrity left him feeling most 'worried' about their involvement in the demanding Channel 4 programme.

Renowned for its punishing trials and brutal living arrangements, SAS: Who Dares Wins has established itself as the ultimate examination of psychological, emotional and physical endurance, with precious few managing to see it through to the end.

This year's edition, premiering on 3 August, features the participation of Chloe Burrows, Hannah Spearritt, Louie Spence, Bimini and Tasha Ghouri all accepting the gauntlet, reports OK!.

Among the contestants is Michaella McCollum, recognised as half of the Peru Two duo. She and companion Melissa Reid were notably detained at Jorge Chávez International Airport, Lima, Peru, in 2013 on charges of drug trafficking. Both women completed sentences in a Peruvian jail.
Michaella joined This Morning alongside Jason on Friday (1 August) to explore her choice to participate in the reality programme, marking her television debut.

Jason, who features on the Channel 4 series as part of the directing staff with Rudy Reyes, Chris Oliver, and Billy Billingham, shared his apprehensions about Michaella's involvement.
"I think obviously there's a level of resiliance there," he told hosts Dermot O'Leary and Olivia Attwood. "We were... not concerned, but we were wondering whether there would be a trigger there as well, though.
"Because, obviously, we're cutting around screaming and shouting, restricting your ability to manoeuvre, you don't know what's going on from one minute to the next."

Jason also shared the words of encouragement he offered Michaella during her stint on the course, reminding her that she'd endured "through worse" in one of the challenges.
Michaella clarified that her participation in Celebrity SAS wasn't about altering public perception but was a personal endeavour.
In other news, Jason disclosed that neither he nor his colleagues have any say in the casting process "at all".
"No. So, we don't get involved in the casting at all. Normally, we'll try and find out who's on it, but they keep it pretty much under wraps. Then, we might get told the day before, we'll have a briefing on who they are," he revealed on This Morning.

Channel 4 faces major backlash over controversial Bonnie Blue documentary

Channel 4 has faced backlash from advertisers as they demand their ads are pulled from it's controversial documentary 1000 Men and Me: the Bonnie Blue Story, which aired last week Channel 4 is facing pressure from advertisers demanding that their ads are removed from its controversial Bonnie Blue documentary. The programme titled 1000 Men and Me: the Bonnie Blue Story, aired last week and followed the content creator as she exposed the dark reality of her X-rated videos. ‌ Now, businesses have asked for their ads to be removed from the documentary featured on Channel 4 on Demand -including card payment business Visa, juice maker Cawston Press and vodka brand Smirnoff. ‌ It was reported by The Times that the brands did not want their products promoted during the programme as it does not align with their values or advertising guidelines. ‌ The documentary about Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, has sparked backlash for including explicit sex scenes - most notably a scene in which the adult content creator films a sex tape alongside two others from the porn industry, the Mirror reports. A Channel 4 spokesperson said in a statement: "We take great care to ensure that advertising is appropriately placed across all programming, particularly where content may be sensitive or potentially contentious. ‌ "In the case of 1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story, the programme was reviewed in advance of transmission to ensure advertising was suitable. Several brands and categories were excluded to avoid inappropriate juxtapositions." They continued: "Channel 4 is a commercially funded public service broadcaster. We use commercial revenues such as advertising to make programmes that deliver our remit to create change through entertainment across a wide range of issues. Our programming is created independently from our commercial operation." Dam Rachel de Souza, a children's commissioner, has hit out at the documentary, claiming that it risked affecting efforts to protect teenagers from online porn. ‌ She stated: "For years we have been fighting to protect our children from the kind of degrading, violent sex that exists freely on their social media feeds. "This documentary risks taking us a step back by glamorising, even normalising, the things young people tell me are frightening, confusing and damaging to their relationships," she concluded. ‌ Earlier this week, the shadow Home Office minister expressed outrage that children can still access the Bonnie Blue documentary online, despite recently introduced strict age checks designed to block access to pornographic content. Although Channel 4 requires users to be at least 16 to create an account, the lack of a robust age verification system allows minors to easily input false birth dates to view the show. "It seems bizarre to me," Home Office minister Katie Lam said on Times Radio. "There is clearly a consistency problem both in terms of content and in terms of platform." ‌ Ofcom has not yet confirmed whether it will launch a formal investigation into Channel 4's broadcast of the documentary but stated that it is "assessing the complaints against [its] rules." In response, Channel 4 maintained that the programme was "compliant with the Ofcom broadcasting code". The broadcaster also defended its decision to make the documentary about the adult star, who claims to have slept with 1,057 men in 12 hours. Commissioning Editor Tim Hancock said: "I believe it is Channel 4's job to tell stories like this, trying to get behind the truth of the headlines. We film real stories in real time. We are very proud to do films like this."

Celebrity SAS star Rebecca Loos says David Beckham scandal left her battling 'big issue'

Rebecca Loos was catapulted into the spotlight in 2004 when reports of an 'affair' with former England captain David Beckham emerged Rebecca Loos says she has been left with a 'big issue' after her explosive affair claims more than two decades ago. The 48-year-old was working as a personal assistant to David Beckham when reports emerged suggesting she was having an "affair" with the footballer. ‌ While the former England captain branded the claims 'ludicrous' it launched Rebecca into the spotlight. She subsequently went on to star in a host of reality TV shows, including Celebrity Love Island and The X Factor: Battle of the Stars. ‌ But Rebecca has now been absent from screens since 2008, when she hosted The Podge and Rodge Show on Irish television. She is however now preparing to make a return on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. ‌ She admits her past means she is used to being in the spotlight, although she accepts it has left one lasting impression on her. Speaking to Closer, she said: 'I'm a little bit burnt by what I've been through, so I have a big issue trusting. 'Celeb SAS was a great show for me to come back on because it's quite serious. And the production company has been absolutely fantastic – what they've said the show is going to be and what they said they're going to do, they've done.' ‌ Rebecca describes the survivalist show as 'very honest' and 'very open'. The show sees Rebecca and 13 other celebrities put through their paces as they complete the most challenging special forces selection course out there. Ahead of the show, Rebecca took part in the Celebrity SAS Mirror Room. There Jason Fox and Chris Oliver questioned her motives for being on the show and asked about the 'affair'. Rebecca said: 'It felt unjust that my life was pretty hell and his (Beckham's) life kept going and kept blossoming. I've been accused of being a liar. I've had a lifetime of opinions around me, I've definitely developed thick skin. ‌ 'I think the public opinion now has softened, at least from what I'm gathering since the documentary came out with the Beckhams a couple of years ago. I think it is now because thanks to social media, there is a whole different following out there, which it's a double-edged sword." Rebecca's world changed forever in 2003 after David secured a career-defining transfer to Real Madrid. The-then 26-year-old Rebecca was hired to help him settle into his new life in Spain. ‌ In September that year, the pair were pictured leaving a nightclub together and rumours of an affair began to circulate. In 2004, Rebecca sold her story to the News of the World, claiming the pair had been involved for four months. The Beckhams however denied the affair. In a statement, David said: 'The simple truth is that I am very happily married. I have a wonderful wife and two very special kids.' David and Victoria never pursued legal action against Rebecca directly, but in 2006, they reached a confidential settlement after filing defamation claims against the News of the World. David has always denied the allegations. Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins can be streamed or watched live every Sunday and Monday from 9pm on Channel 4, starting tonight (3 August).
