Just a short appearance in Part 1
According to an India Today report, Sunny Deol will appear only in the final act of 'Ramayana: Part 1'. His screen time is expected to be around 15 minutes. But even in this short time, his entry is set to be a powerful moment in the story.
His character will step in right when Hanuman makes his promise to help Lord Rama, played by Ranbir Kapoor, and Laxman, played by Ravie Dubey. Together, they aim to rescue Goddess Sita, played by
Sai Pallavi
, from the fearsome demon king Ravana, played by Yash.
Big moments saved for Part 2
While Sunny Deol will have a small but key role in the first part, fans can expect a lot more from him in the sequel. The second part of 'Ramayana' is scheduled to release during Diwali 2027. That is when Hanuman's character will really come to the front. Part 2 will bring alive the legendary clash between Rama and Ravana.
