
IIM Kashipur appoints Prof Neeraj Dwivedi as the new director
He joins IIM Kashipur from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, where he served as Professor of Strategic Management and held several senior leadership roles, including Dean (Faculty and Programmes), Chairperson of Post-graduate Programmes, Admissions, Student Affairs & Placements, and Member of the Board of Governors.
As per a statement by IIM-K, Prof Dwivedi has helped IIM Lucknow in achieving the institute's AACSB accreditation. Notably, he served as the national convener for CAT 2017, overseeing the seamless conduct of one of India's largest and most complex competitive examinations.
His earlier associations included the Indian Institute of Management Indore, Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, and the School of Management, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Apart from this, Prof Dwivedi also worked in industry for about 7 years before shifting to academics.
He has worked with some of the big organisations, including NTPC, Indian Oil, ONGC, Samsung, McKinsey & Co., Tata Play, among others. Known for his expertise in strategic management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and leadership development, he continues to receive feedback from executives and students alike.
His academic excellence has been recognised through multiple accolades, including the Best Case Award at the Strategic Management Forum Convention at IIM Bangalore (2010), Overall Best Research Paper Award at the IAMB Conference in San Antonio (2013), and Best Doctoral Student Paper Award at IAMB Rome (2014). His elective course, Merger and Acquisitions, was twice voted as the Best Strategy Elective at IIM Lucknow, and one of his co-authored papers was declared Runner-up for Best Paper at the INDAM Conference in Goa (2024).

IIM Lucknow Launches Blended MBA Programme For Mid-Career Professionals
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has launched a new Blended MBA (bMBA) Programme designed especially for mid-career professionals and entrepreneurs seeking to advance their leadership and managerial capabilities without interrupting their careers. The application window for the two-year programme opened today and will remain active until August 18. The programme combines live online classes with immersive on-campus modules. The curriculum is based on IIM Lucknow's flagship MBA programme and includes core and elective courses, hands-on projects, and a Capstone Project to reinforce real-world application of concepts. Who Can Apply The programme is open to individuals with a minimum of three years of full-time work experience post-graduation as of August 31. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification (CA/CS/ICWA) with at least 50 per cent marks from a recognised institution in India or abroad. A valid score in CAT, GRE, GMAT, or GMAT Focus (center-based) taken within the past five years is also required. Programme Fee The total fee for the bMBA Programme, including tuition, accommodation, and other applicable charges, is Rs 14.95 lakh. The fee is structured across five terms, with optional on-campus accommodation provided on a twin-sharing basis. An additional charge of Rs 10,000 per term is applicable for those opting to stay on campus during exams conducted at IIM Lucknow or its Noida centre. Bokaro girl shines in NIFT, IPMAT exams
1 2 Bokaro: Akshara Roy Sharma, a student of Delhi Public School, Bokaro, has been selected for admission to the Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-Indore) with an AIR of 35 through the integrated programme in management aptitude test (IPMAT). She also qualified in IPMAT Rohtak conducted by IIM Rohtak.
