Jet2 has issued a 'final chance' message to anyone booking a summer holiday. The travel giant is currently running a huge promotion that offers £400 off a family holiday - but it ends tonight.
This means anyone booking a holiday will have their final chance at getting money off today. The Jet2Holidays discount offers families £400 off an upcoming holiday if it is booked before 11:59pm tonight (July 2).
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Jet2 said: "FINAL CHANCE to save £400 off your next Jet2holiday! Ends midnight tonight! *T&Cs apply. Based on 4 people."
According to the Jet2Holidays website, the deal actually offers £100pp off a Jet2 holiday. This means for holidays with four people the discount would be £400, for three people it would be £300 off and for two people it would be £200.
To receive the discount, travellers must be a myJet2 member and be logged into their account at the time of booking. For non-myJet2 customers, there is still a saving of £90 per person available.
How to get the Jet2Holidays discount
According to the Jet2Holidays website, to redeem the offer customers can click the 'Apply Discount' button. The button is displayed at all stages at the top of each page on the Jet2Holidays website and app, throughout the booking process.
The per person discount is applied to the full balance of the holiday, not the deposit amount payable. The discount will not be applied for children under the age of 2 years at the date of return or children travelling on a Free Child Place(s).
The offer is applicable to new bookings only and only one discount per booking is available.
Once the discount has been applied, the the price displayed will be the total price of the package. This will include the applicable discount of £100 per person for myJet2 members or £90 per person for non-myJet2 members (the full price will also be displayed).
The price of a Jet2Holiday includes flights, accommodation and coach transfers, unless otherwise specified. The holidays are based on your search criteria and the available rates at the time of your search.
The offer is available when booked online at www.jet2holidays.com, through the Jet2holidays app, through the Jet2holidays contact centre and through a travel agent.
Which holidays are included?
The Jet2 deal is valid only on new holidays booked before 11:59pm on July 2, 2025. The discount is valid on all holiday departures before November 15, 2026.
Where applicable, the discount can be used in conjunction with one other code that is required to be manually entered during the booking process. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless otherwise detailed in the applicable Jet2Holidays promotion terms.
Jet2 notes that if flight dates or any passenger names are changed following the original booking, the discount will no longer apply and the balance may become payable upon such a change being made.

Jet2 blasted after Grans put on flight to wrong Spanish island
The pair were stunned when the pilot announced they'd be touching down in a different place. Two elderly woman have slammed holiday giant Jet2 after a shocking airport mix-up saw them put on the wrong plane — and only realised it mid-air when the captain said they were landing in the wrong place. Linda Trestrail, 69, and Wendy Russell, 71, thought they were flying off to sunny Majorca for a relaxing break. But after five separate ticket checks — including one onboard — the pair were stunned when the pilot announced they'd be touching down in Menorca instead. The pensioners, who both suffer from mobility issues and had booked special assistance, branded it a 'catalogue of disasters' and accused Jet2 of treating them worse than luggage, reports the Mirror. Linda fumed: 'You get compensation if your bags go missing — but they lost us, not the bl**dy baggage!' The pals, who both use wheelchairs, were given help through security at Bristol Airport, shown to the gate, and even directed into their seats by cabin crew before the horror realisation mid-flight. 'I burst into tears,' said Linda. 'I turned to Wendy and said, 'He said Menorca — not Majorca!' The flight attendant laughed when I told her. That's when the chaos started.' The blunder was so severe even the captain admitted he'd never seen anything like it in his career. But despite offering to personally fly them to Majorca, Linda claims Jet2 bosses overruled it 'due to security.' Wendy, who has undergone three brain surgeries and suffers from arthritis, said: 'It's terrifying how easy it was. They bang on about airport security, but two strangers got on a plane with five checks and no one noticed!' To make things worse, their luggage made it to Majorca without them — a major security breach that could've had dangerous consequences. 'Our bags flew without us. That's terrifying,' Wendy added. The women ended up stranded in Menorca for hours before being put on another flight. By the time they arrived at their resort, they'd been travelling for 17 hours instead of five. Linda said: 'Our legs were like balloons. We were supposed to be relaxing — we just collapsed in the room.' Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! A Jet2 rep at the hotel refused to meet them, and when they finally got a call from the airline two days later, they were offered a 'free excursion' — despite both being physically unable to walk. 'I thought it was a joke,' Linda said. 'We couldn't even get out of bed, let alone go sightseeing!' Despite being the talk of their resort — with fellow holidaymakers recognising them as 'the ladies who got on the wrong flight' — the pair said their break was 'ruined.' They've still not received compensation from Jet2, despite their travel agent and family contacting the company multiple times. So far, only Bristol Airport has issued an apology. Wendy added: 'This could've been so much worse. It was traumatic for us — but what if it had been someone with a serious health issue, or worse? This must never happen again.' Jet2 has since apologised, blaming the blunder on a 'human error' by a third-party special assistance provider. The airline claims to have 'retrained staff' and offered the women a gesture of goodwill. They said: "We would like to offer our sincere apologies to Mses. Trestrail and Russell for this incident. This is an extremely isolated incident and although there was no security risk, we have of course investigated it as a matter of urgency, including with the third-party special assistance provider. We can confirm that the customers went through security correctly, and their luggage was also screened correctly. "However, after these checks the customers were taken to the incorrect aircraft, which is the responsibility of the third-party special assistance provider at the airport. Upon boarding the aircraft, the incorrect destination on their boarding passes was unfortunately not identified and we apologise for this oversight which was down to human error. "We have carried out additional training with the team to ensure this does not happen again. As soon as we learned of the issue, our team booked Mses. Trestrail and Russell onto the soonest available flight from Menorca to Majorca and they also provided all the assistance they could both throughout their journey and the rest of their holiday. "We have been in touch with Mses. Trestrail and Russell to offer an appropriate gesture of goodwill and once again offer our sincere apologies. We understand they are due to travel with us once again this year, and we look forward to welcoming them onboard and delivering the usual VIP customer experience that we are recognised for." But for Linda and Wendy, the trust is broken. Linda said: 'We were terrified flying home. You're supposed to feel safe in their hands. They lost people, not just bags. That says it all.'

Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday: Celebs hopping on TikTok trend and jets
The discount airfare line has recently found itself the subject of virality, as users post their vacation and life mishaps online to the soundtrack of a 2024 ad promoting the company's discounted flights. "Nothing beats a Jet2 Holiday," the ad promises as British singer Jess Glynne's 2015 song "Hold My Hand" blasts in the background. Even celebrities have been eager to hop on the trend, with stars like Mariah Carey and Jeff Goldblum parodying the ad. Social media users are proving why nothing beats a Jet2 holiday. What's that? Goldblum, known for his own TV ad campaigns, joined in the fun, posting a TikTok with a remixed voice-over, swapping "Jet2" for "Jeff2." Fans were delighted, with one commenting: "If Jeff Goldblum isn't greeting me at the gate in sunglasses and a silk shirt, is it even a Jeff2 holiday?" Carey, on the other hand, used the trend to announce her performance at Brighton Pride in the United Kingdom, posting a TikTok of her boarding a plane to the viral sound accompanied by the caption "Nothing beats going to Brighton Pride!!" Jet2, no doubt happily basking in the unexpected free press, commented below Carey's post: "We belong together." That the "Obsessed" singer was boarding a private jet in her video butts up against the ethos of the trend, which has connected social media users worldwide about everything from budget airfare to hilarious travel plans gone wrong. The ad's song has even been remixed by some on the internet, with a soca version dominating recent videos and a New Orleans bounce remix as the background to multiple dance videos. Singer slams Trump administration for using her song to promote deportations Glynn also spoke out earlier this week about another group clearly not in on the joke: the Trump administration. When the White House's official Instagram shared a post on July 30 celebrating the Trump admin's mass deportation efforts to the tune of "Hold My Hand," Glynn was quick to shoot them down. The video, which showed people being escorted out of a van and marched onto a plane with their hands and ankles handcuffed, was accompanied by the caption: "When ICE books you a one-way Jet2 holiday to deportation. ?? Nothing beats it!" Though federal agents' faces are blurred, the detainees' faces are not. In response, Glynn wrote in an Instagram story: "This post honestly makes me sick. My music is about love, unity, and spreading positivity - never about division or hate."
