Ant and Dec dealt huge triple blow at TRIC Awards 2025 as winners revealed in full
The TRIC Awards 2025 was held in London last night but it was not a successful night for the Geordie presenting duo.
The TRIC Awards made a comeback on Tuesday evening with Britain's biggest TV stars arriving at Grosvenor House in London for the red carpet event. The star studded event was hosted by TRIC President Dan Walker and the audience were also treated to a performance by Magic Radio's Lemar.
While it was an excellent night celebrating the success of some of the biggest names in showbiz, there were two people who were dealt a huge blow on the evening after they were snubbed for multiple awards which were decided on by the UK public. Presenting duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are used to winning awards thanks to their wit and hilarious friendship.
However, this year the beloved hosts were snubbed from the Entertainment, Gameshow, and TV Personality categories. Ant and Dec had been nominated for I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here! in the Entertainment category and Limitless Win in the game show category, the Mirror reports.
They pair also lost out to Bradley Walsh in the TV Personality category. Here is the winner's list in full...

Sam Thompson 'crying into beer' with Pete Wicks after Zara McDermott split
Cheeky chappies Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks have become one of the best-loved duos in showbiz, thanks to their ongoing bromance. As they celebrate their hilarious podcast Staying Relevant winning its first ever prize at this year's TRIC Awards, the pair, who first met on Celebs Go Dating in 2018, stop for an exclusive interview, during which they tell us their close friendship is all down to mutual trust. 'That's the thing, I trust him with my life,' Pete, 37, says of his 32-year-old bestie. The lads are both single for the first time in several years following Sam's recent split from Zara McDermott, who he was dating for five years, and the end of Pete's whirlwind romance with Maura Higgins back in February, so we're keen to find out if they'll be wingmen for each other this summer. Here, the pals also tell us how it feels to finally receive an award for their podcast and why Pete thinks Sam makes him a better man... Work with your best mate! Honestly, it's so easy. There's nothing more to it than that. You know what? In all seriousness, I think the secret is to have total trust in the other person. I think that's the thing, I trust him with my life. I'm blessed to have the awards and all the rest of it is great, but if I wasn't in this industry and we weren't doing our podcast and we were doing normal jobs, Sam would still be my brother. No! We haven't had one massive argument, ever, in our whole friendship. That's pretty good, isn't it? It's true. Happy wife, happy life. Sam is always upbeat, he's literally the light behind everything we do. I'm the miserable darkness and the shade! Sam makes me a better person and is genuinely always this happy. Pete's a happy boy tonight, though. Look at that smile! True, I've had a lot to drink though and that might be contributing. Ha ha, good question. We're going to spend time together this summer, but we'll probably just cry into our beers. That's all. We won't say any more on that front. I'm over the moon. We've never won anything in our entire lives! Well, Sam, you won the bloody jungle, but me, I've never won anything. I genuinely can't believe it. We're a pair of useless numpties so this is just so mad to me. Our podcast has been up for so many awards over the years and we've never won, so we had no expectation tonight at all. We actually came in a limo thinking it would be ironic for the losers to go home in a flashy limo, but now it's going to look like we knew we were going to win. Definitely not, I wouldn't say so. We've spent over a decade in this industry and we're still a couple of wallies. I don't think we'll ever be relevant really. Sam has tried though, bless him. He's even got a mullet. That's true. I've dyed it, too. It was a bit of a sandy colour before. I'm truly pulling out all the stops to be relevant. I've not quite got Pete's luscious locks to work with, though. In all seriousness, I want to say that, Sam, I'm really proud of you and you're my best mate. Recording the podcast is my favourite day of the week because I spend it with you. We've just sold out the 02! That was a pretty big goal. Yeah, we're performing the podcast at the 02 in September. Can you believe it? At the end of our tour last year Sam told me we needed to do the 02, but we didn't think it would actually happen. Now it has and we honestly couldn't be more excited about it. We've got a book coming out too, but we can't tell you much about it. You'll just have to buy it. There'll be lots of pictures, a bit like Where's Wally! The Mirror spoke to Sam and Pete at the TRIC Awards, partnered with OK!

Megan McKenna's personalised initial necklace causes searches to skyrocket
Megan McKenna causes searches for initial necklaces to skyrocket after showing off her sweet tribute to her family whilst on her honeymoon, and we've found the best ones to shop After sharing some snaps from her honeymoon, it seems Megan McKenna has reignited one of last year's top trends – and it's set to be a big one. Her sweet initial necklace featured the letters M, O and L for her, her husband Oliver and their son Landon, making it the ultimate personal tribute to her family. Whilst personalised necklaces had a huge moment last year, it seems Megan's adorable accessory has made them one of the most sought after pieces of jewellery once again, as searches for 'personalised initial necklace' are up 140% according to jewellery brand PRYA. And if you want to copy Megan's meaningful look, we've found some great options to shop. PRYA Miami Multiple Name Necklace – £50 (was £78) If a simple initial isn't enough, PRYA's multi-name necklace is ideal. A similar style was worn by Coleen Rooney during her stint in the I'm A Celebrity jungle, making it a guaranteed winner for getting the celeb look on a budget. You also get a choice of chain styles and lengths, allowing you to create the perfect necklace to suit your personal style. Oak and Luna Inez Initial Necklace – £91 If the simplicity of Megan's initial necklace was what really caught your eye, however, then this Inez necklace from Oak and Luna is a great lookalike. You can get it in sterling silver, 18k gold plating, 18k gold vermeil or rose gold vermeil with prices to suit all budgets, and you can even upgrade with a diamond if you want to add some sparkle. Add something a little extra to your unique necklace with this Abbott Lyon one, which allows you to choose two initials as well as a birthstone which sits in the middle of the letters. Available in tarnish-free gold, silver and rose gold, it's the perfect minimalist necklace to add to your collection.

X Factor icon looks completely different two decades on from hit reality show
X Factor icon Rowetta looks unrecognisable 19 years on as she stuns in a tartan miniskirt and thigh-high boots, proving her bold style is still going strong at 57 X Factor fans might do a double-take after seeing one of the show's original stars looking completely different nearly two decades after finding fame. Rowetta Satchell, or simply Rowetta, as she was known to millions, was one of the standout acts on the very first series of The X Factor back in 2004. The powerhouse soul singer wowed judges with her unforgettable take on Lady Marmalade, and her bold vocals and big personality quickly made her a fan favourite. Already known from her days with legendary band Happy Mondays, Rowetta made it all the way to the quarter-finals of the ITV talent show, finishing fourth overall and becoming the last woman left standing, without ever facing the dreaded sing-off. Fast-forward 19 years, and the 57-year-old is still commanding attention. Rowetta recently turned heads as she posed in a tartan miniskirt and leopard-print thigh-high boots on her way to an Indie Reunion event. She paired the look with a statement tee reading, "The ravers united will never be defeated." She told fans she was "on my way." Simon Cowell once famously described her as "amazing but barking bloody mad", and it's fair to say her bold style and fearless energy haven't faded one bit. In an interview with the singer opened up about her journey on the ITV competition, her music career, and why she never returned to reality TV despite being flooded with offers. According to Rowetta, after The X Factor propelled her to TV fame in 2004, she turned down shows like Big Brother and I'm A Celebrity, only making exceptions for Children in Need and BBC Music Day. Rowetta's journey began in Leeds when Kate Thornton introduced her to the judges before live auditions were part of the show's format. Her renditions of Lady Marmalade and Circle of Life wowed Simon and Sharon from the get-go. She said she was grateful not to win because she and Simon Cowell had a difference of opinion on the final single. Adding: 'I think it would have been a disaster to win it, and then have to bring out songs like that. I love funky stuff. I don't want to be doing Somewhere Over The Rainbow for the rest of my life.' Rowetta said her reason for doing the show was her grandma, who encouraged her to be on TV like the singers she watched. Her career since has included collaborations with the likes of Solardo, Todd Terry, Oliver Heldens and Shed Seven. A proud Mancunian, Rowetta loves being a role model on her local music scene, often performing at Manchester Pride. She said that when she was growing up, 'there was no one to look up to from Manchester that was Black and female.' Last year, in December 2024, it was announced that Rowetta would be leaving the band. The announcement came amidst speculation about past feuds with band member Shaun Ryder. In February this year, MailOnline reported Rowetta sharing that she has allegedly been physically abused by Shaun.
