Cowherd's list. Not only did he rave about the former No. 2 pick, he said he's the NFL's next superstar.
On "The Herd" on FS1, host Colin Cowherd unveiled his list of the most "untradeable" athletes in sports. Buffalo Bills star Allen and Kansas City Chiefs star Mahomes were high on that list.
And the third QB placed in a lofty place?
Second-year guy Daniels.
"I think he's our next superstar in the NFL," Cowherd said. "I thought last year was the greatest rookie season by far. He took over a franchise that was a laughingstock for 15-20 years. Relevance, maturity, arm, movement - to the nation's capital. There's an argument they're going to become Kansas City in the NFC."

Daniels put up numbers - he threw for 3,568 yards with 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions, with 891 yards and six TDs on the ground, during his rookie season - and he did it with unflinching character.
He ran away with Rookie of the Year voting stuff ... and now many think he's headed toward MVP contention ... especially if the Commanders - who shocked the NFL with their advancement to the NFC title game a year ago - remain true contenders for a Super Bowl berth.
Commanders head coach Dan Quinn gets all of that.
"There is no flinch in Jayden Daniels," DQ said. "He is ... as focused and relentless as you could be about getting better. ... And if he does that, I do that, others do that … there's a lot of space we can get better at."

So much "better'' that Daniels is about to join Allen and Mahomes at the top of the NFL QB totem pole? That's the plan.

The Commanders sent a fifth-round pick to San Francisco and reworked the final year on Samuel's existing contract. Earlier this month, a video of Samuel running a route during Washington's OTAs made the rounds on social media. Because Samuel was running the route at half speed — it was only one play — people made comments about Samuel's speed and his physical shape. Former 49ers teammate George Kittle shut down all of the nonsense. The Commanders are happy with Samuel. Coaches, teammates and GM Adam Peters have praised Samuel since his arrival and his participation in all of Washington's offseason activities. As if Samuel didn't have enough to play for in 2025, you can bet Owens' remarks will serve as more motivation for the former Pro Bowl receiver.

BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) — Oklahoma City's 103-91 victory over Indiana in Game 7 was the most-watched NBA Finals game in six years. Sunday night's game averaged 16.53 million on ABC and ESPN+ according to preliminary ratings data from Nielsen. The audience peaked at 19.28 million during the second half (9:45-10 p.m. EDT). Advertisement It is the first time since Toronto wrapped up its title in Game 6 against Golden State in 2019 (18.34 million) that the finals have had an audience over 16 million. The last Game 7, when Cleveland beat Golden State in 2016, averaged 31.02 million. The seven-game series averaged 10.27 million, down from the 11.31 million average for Boston's victory over Dallas in five games last year. The seven games were the most-watched television broadcasts since the first week of May.
