The 4 Best Bags From The Hermès A/W 25 Collection That Aren't A Birkin
Not on the list? Hermès' Autumn/Winter 2025 collection brings a fresh wave of aspirational arm candy…
Let's be honest: the Birkin gets all the glory. But Hermès' A/W25 collection proves there's a whole world of swoon-worthy bags beyond its most iconic arm candy. This season, the French house delivered a masterclass in quiet confidence – a collection where timeless elegance flirted with modern edge, and plenty of bags told stories through touch, texture, and impeccable craftsmanship.
From reimagined saddle shapes to deliciously tactile finishes and silhouettes that feel fresh without trying too hard, these are the five bags that stopped us mid-scroll – and might just steal your heart (and Wishlist space). Whether you're a collector, a first-time dreamer, or just love a good accessory moment, here are the Hermès hits of the season… that aren't a beloved Birkin.
The Classic Holdall In Bordeaux Burgundy
If quiet luxury had a weekend bag, this would be it. This structured holdall in a rich bordeaux hue feels like a nod to Hermès' equestrian roots – clean, confident, and timeless. Carried with a twist of silk scarf and paired with chunky leather boots, this piece is made for the kind of woman who moves between cities, meetings, and weekend escapes with equal ease. Functional? Yes. But it also whispers: 'I know what I'm doing.' And yes – the silk scarf knotted at the strap isn't just for flair; it adds a touch of Parisian ease that says je ne sais quoi, without trying too hard.
Prefer a lighter look? It also comes in a creamy beige shade.
The Classic Shoulder Bag With a Twist
Sleek, clean, and saddle-inspired, this tan shoulder bag leans into minimalism without playing it too safe. With buttery-soft leather, a subtly curved silhouette, and a streamlined buckle, it's a masterclass in wearable luxury, with a little nod to Hermès' equestrian DNA.
In tan, it's warm and wearable. In black? It becomes a sharp city essential – modern, no-fuss, and effortlessly cool. It's the type of bag you'll want in both shades (and won't regret buying both).
The High Gloss Satchel
This glossy cherry-red satchel is a fashion mood all on its own. Its deep cherrywood red finish is polished to perfection, with a bold metal buckle that will pop against muted winter layers. Tucked under the arm like a secret weapon, it is compact, sharp, and endlessly photogenic. Think modern femme fatale, but with a calendar full of gallery openings and industry-insider events.
And for the minimalists? The same design comes in pristine white – sharp, striking, and dripping in futuristic softness.
The Bucket Bag Reimagined
Among all the leather-laced elegance, one bag stood out for its quiet confidence – a rich brown bucket tote that's all about elevated ease. Crafted in pebbled leather with a soft, slouchy silhouette, it's the kind of piece that doesn't try too hard – but still gets all the compliments. The minimalist leather handle loops through sleek gold metal anchors, giving it that polished, practical edge. If you're the kind of woman who wants your bag to work and wow – this one's for you.
Whether you're after elegance with an edge or heirloom-worthy, this season's line-up proves that Hermès is still the master of making everyday pieces for your wardrobe feel extraordinary – even if you're not next on the Birkin list.

Charlize Theron is 'intimdated' by Christopher Nolan's new movie
Actoe Charlize Theron opened up about her shoot schedule for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, revealing a tidbit about how the production is intimidating her. The renowned actor said that she will be leaving for the movie's shoot in a couple of weeks, Variety reported, and will be the last one to join the ensemble cast on the sets. "I will be the new kid on the block. Everybody will know what they are doing and not me," Theron said. The Odyssey follows the Greek champion Odysseus on his tumultuous journey home after the Trojan War. The story was first scribed by the ancient Greek poet Homer over 2,000 years ago and is one of the oldest stories still enjoyed by modern readers. Nolan penned the script and serves as director and producer. His wife, Emma Thomas, will also produce under the pair's Syncopy banner. Matt Damon will play the lead role in the film. Damon appears alongside Tom Holland, Mia Goth, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, Benny Safdie, Jon Bernthal and John Leguizamo. Damon was previously spotted on the film's set on March 25, when he filmed scenes shirtless and showed off his impressive abs on set in Favignana, Italy. His co-star, Zendaya, was also seen in costume and on location that day as the pair filmed scenes for the movie, based on the Ancient Greek epic poem attributed to the poet Homer. Holland, 28, was photographed on the movie's set on March 26. He wore a full chest plate and metal armour over his body as he and other crew members stood near what appeared to be an antiquity-style Greek trireme sitting in the water. Holland's appearance on the movie's set came one day after Damon and Zendaya were last photographed filming on location, according to People.

Famous Last Words: Tamara Ralph Shares Her Life Lessons
Her haute couture creations are beloved by celebrities like Bella Hadid, Rihanna and Angelina Jolie, which is just one of the reasons this Whitehouse Institute of Design graduate, who founded her eponymous label in 2023 is always in the spotlight. London based Tamara may have established her credentials with her initial foray into the fashion field with Ralph & Russo, but it's clear that her new line is breaking design boundaries – and taking her creativity to new heights Is it more important to be liked or respected? Undoubtedly, is far more important to be respected. What book changed your life and why? Steve Jobs. He was a visionary who broke boundaries and although he experienced struggles in his business career, he stayed true to his vision and designed with conviction. I often listen to podcasts of his speeches as I find them so motivating. What are you proudest of? Becoming a mother to, now, two beautiful daughters. Who are your heroes? Women generally, and my mum. What is your motto? The only limits you have in life are those you place on yourself – no matter what, always believe in yourself What do you consider the most overrated virtue? I don't think good morals or virtues are ever overrated. In fact, I think they are sometimes lacking in today's society. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I'm quite impatient, so I'd like to improve on that as I tend to want things to happen immediately. I like to work hard to achieve what I want in life, and therefore I seek instant results with everything I do. It can be very motivating for the people around me, but also admittedly stressful, and so it's something I am constantly trying to improve upon and give things the time they need. Also, being a creative, I tend to be quite indecisive when selecting and narrowing down my hundreds of sketches I have designed when creating a collection. I go through it hundreds of times and change things until it is perfect, eventually I get there but it is a process! What's your greatest extravagance? I am a true beauty enthusiast – especially when it comes to skincare – so this is defi nitely an area in which I happily splurge. Also, travel. I love to explore new destinations and immerse myself in foreign cultures. What does success mean to you? Doing what makes me happiest, and fulfilling my life's purpose. Also, being the best role model I could possibly be for my daughters and being someone they look up to. What's your most treasured possession? The earrings my partner gave me to celebrate the birth of our daughter. What traits do you admire most in others? Strength, kindness, and humility What would you ban if you had the chance? Inequality. Guiltiest pleasure? Chocolate. If you could be anyone else, who would it be and why? I wouldn't want to be anyone else. I'm so blessed with everything – and everyone – that life has given me. I only strive to always be a better me for myself, my family and – perhaps most importantly – for my daughters. What inspires you most about your job? Being able to tap into my innate creativity and allow it to truly flourish, and pushing boundaries. I am also inspired by the very women for which I create and the team I work with are so passionate and talented, they constantly inspire me. Their unconditional love, and the fact they are always there for me. They are true friends.

The Chicest Celebrities At Jeff Bezos And Lauren Sánchez's Wedding
As the celebrity wedding of the year takes place in Venice this weekend, we round up the most stylish ensembles Venice, with its glistening canals and chiaroscuro light, played host to one of the most extravagant weddings of the year this week as Jeff Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon, married television presenter Lauren Sánchez in a celebration that could be mistaken for a cinematic epic. The guest list read like a roll call of Hollywood's red carpet regulars: Oprah Winfrey cruised the lagoon's waters alongside Orlando Bloom and Kylie Jenner, while Ivanka Trump added to the tableau in a gown in what appears to be the preferred shade of the event – perfectly saccharine pink. The three-day celebration, unfolding between the opulent palazzi and quaint streets of the floating city, culminates in a lavish party on Saturday evening. But it was Lauren's couture moment that stole the scene. The 55-year-old bride wore a bespoke Dolce & Gabbana gown in ivory lace, an intricate dress with long sleeves and a flared silhouette that echoed the setting's romantic ambiance. In a photograph shared on social media, Lauren appeared radiant beside Bezos, 61, framed against the Venetian skyline. Friday's ceremony took place on the private island of San Giorgio Maggiore, where 200 of the couple's closest friends gathered for an intimate exchange of vows. The event was planned by wedding planner gurus Lanza and Baucina, while musical grandeur was provided by Matteo Bocelli, son of Andrea Bocelli. For a few gilded days, Venice is once again the world's most glamorous stage, brimming with sequins and star power.
