Jurassic World Rebirth cast and their salaries: Scarlett Johansson reportedly takes home Rs 167 crore, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey and others are paid just Rs…
Yes, you read that right!
With Gareth Edwards at the helm and a cast stacked with A-listers like Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali, this reboot is as much a financial blockbuster as it is a cinematic one. Here's a look at the eye-popping salaries fueling one of this year's biggest box office bets. Here's what the budget for Jurassic World Rebirth is
According to several reports, Gareth Edwards's reboot, Jurassic World Rebirth, is carrying a lean USD 180 million (Rs 1,460 crore) production price tag. After the previous trilogy cost as much as Rs 3,650 crore (with marketing), this return-to-roots budget is more streamlined. Still, expectations for visual spectacle remain sky-high. Here's how much the main leads have been paid: Scarlett Johanson
Scarlett Johansson, a Hollywood titan, is rumoured to earn USD 15–20 million (Rs 1,200–1,600 crore) for her role as an adventure lead. Her blockbuster legacy—from Black Widow to Avengers—underscores why studios still pay top dollar, often adding backend bonuses if the film tops Rs 3,000 crore globally. Mahershala Ali
Two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali may command USD 2–3 million (Rs 160–240 crore) for his portrayal of security chief Duncan Kincaid. His reputation brings prestige with punch, justifying his prominent supporting role. Jonathan Bailey
Jonathan Bailey is set to earn around USD 500–600 thousand (Rs 40–48 crore) as Dr. Henry Loomis. Having transitioned from TV's Bridgerton—where he earned USD 100K–150K per episode—Bailey shows how prestige TV translates into film negotiating power.
Here's how much the supporting casts have been paid: Rupert Friend (Martin Krebs): Estimated USD 700–800 K (Rs 56–64 crore)—a rise from his Hitman paychecks.
Manuel García-Rulfo (Reuben Delgado): Likely USD 700 K (Rs 56 crore), matching his Lincoln Lawyer earnings.
Luna Blaise (Teresa Delgado): A rising talent predicted to earn USD 300 K (Rs 4 crore).
David Iacono: Newcomer with growing cachet, possibly earning USD 250 K (Rs 20 crore).
Jurassic World Rebirth thou ghtfully balances megastar salaries—hundreds of crores—for household names with mid-six-figure deals for rising faces.
With a refreshed Rs 1,460 crore budget, the film avoids overspend yet guarantees spectacle, aligning with contemporary audience tastes shaped by streaming platforms.
From Rs 1,200 crore lead paychecks to Rs 20 crore newcomer contracts, Rebirth showcases how studios allocate blockbuster budgets today—high risk, high stakes, and high rewards.

Pro-Kannada activists were upset that Karnataka Soaps & Detergents Ltd (KS&DL), the state-owned company that manufactures the iconic 109-year-old soap, had chosen actor Tamannaah Bhatia as its brand ambassador instead of a Kannadiga celebrity. The firm clocked its best-ever sales for the month of May at Rs 186 crore, a 24 per cent bump from the target of Rs 150 The soap maker has been on a winning streak in the past few years, with annual sales almost doubling since 2020-21 to Rs 1,780 crore in 2024-25; net profit grew almost four-fold from Rs 113 crore to Rs 415 crore in the same period. Ramping up production and online marketing played a big role in this, says its MD, Prashanth India accounts for over 80 per cent of the sales for KS&DL, with Andhra Pradesh the biggest market. Hence, the push into other regions, especially the north. It's also why 'pan-India star' Tamannaah was signed up. KS&DL has set itself a target of Rs 5,000 crore in annual turnover by 2028. It is investing Rs 250 crore in a new plant at Vijayapura in north Karnataka and also eyeing diversification into new products. The first official glimpse took the internet by storm, and fans are stunned to see its magnificent scale. According to the reports of Bollywood Hungama, Ramayana 's total production cost is Rs 1600 crore, with Rs 900 crore invested only in the first part. The remaining Rs 700 crore is allotted for the second installment. This huge investment made Ramayana the costliest franchise in Indian cinema.
