Hamas Calls for Global Mobilization on Sunday to Save Palestinian People in Gaza
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on the nation and freedom-loving people worldwide to launch a global movement to save the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip from death by bombing, hunger, and thirst.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) on Saturday, Hamas declared:
'Let tomorrow, Sunday, and the coming days be a loud outcry of anger against the Zionist occupation and the systematic starvation in Gaza.'
The statement added:
'In the face of the genocidal crime and starvation being perpetrated by the fascist enemy government and its Zionist army against our people in Gaza, and the escalation of their blatant violations of all humanitarian norms and divine laws, in a barbaric aggression unprecedented in history, amid international silence, paralysis, and failure to stop the aggression and end the crime of genocide and starvation, we in Hamas renew our call to the masses of our Arab and Islamic nation and to freedom-loving people worldwide for a global movement encompassing massive popular marches and solidarity activities, raising voices loudly and exerting all political, diplomatic, parliamentary, labor, and student pressures in solidarity with Gaza, supporting their steadfastness, and opposing the crime of genocide and starvation until the brutal aggression ceases and the unjust siege ends.'
The statement continued:
'Let Sunday, July 20, and the coming days be historic global days and an international solidarity movement involving all forces and freedom lovers worldwide, exposing and condemning the Zionist crimes of genocide and starvation against innocent civilians in Gaza, including children, women, and the sick.'
Hamas urged the pooling of efforts across the Arab, Islamic, and international arenas to form a unified voice in solidarity with Gaza and against the war of genocide and starvation imposed on more than two million Palestinians, to participate in stopping the genocide, starvation, and aggression against Gaza, and to put an end to the blatant disregard by the criminal Netanyahu and his fascist gang for international humanitarian law, treaties, and human norms.
