Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza: Over 580 martyrs & 4,000 injured among aid seekers

Gaza - Saba: Khalil Al-Daqran, spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza, stated on Sunday that more than 580 Palestinian citizens were martyred and over 4,000 others were injured while attempting to reach aid distribution points. He described the new aid distribution mechanism as having caused a major crisis, exacerbating the suffering of civilians. According to the Quds Press Agency, Al-Daqran warned of the worsening humanitarian and medical situation in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing Zionist aggression and the lack of sufficient international support. Al-Daqran emphasized that the healthcare system is on the verge of complete collapse due to the rising numbers of martyrs and wounded. He noted that the increasing number of injured is placing immense pressure on health facilities, which are no longer able to accommodate such a large volume of cases, given the severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies. He further stressed that "the healthcare system in Gaza is almost entirely collapsed." Al-Daqran added that humanitarian conditions are deteriorating dangerously, with displacement centers lacking any aid, while the enemy continues to target shelters and food distribution centers, worsening the widespread malnutrition across all provinces of the Strip. He warned of the rampant spread of diseases, pointing out that the health sector has recorded over 400 cases of meningitis since the beginning of the year, alongside rising infection and disease rates among children, amid the absence of even the most basic healthcare necessities. Since October 7, 2023, the enemy forces, with absolute American support, have continued to commit genocidal crimes in Gaza, resulting in over 189,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded—most of them children and women—along with more than 11,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals. Gov't media: Malnutrition kills 66 children so far

Gaza - Saba: The government media office in Gaza announced on Saturday that the number of children killed as a result of malnutrition has risen to 66, due to the closure of crossings, the tightening of the blockade, and the prevention of the entry of milk, nutritional supplements, and food. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the office expressed deep concern and condemnation over the rising number of children killed as a result of severe malnutrition, reaching 66 children. This is due to the continued closure of crossings by the Zionist enemy and the prevention of the entry of baby milk and nutritional supplements intended for vulnerable and vulnerable groups, especially infants and the sick. The office stated that this behavior constitutes a war crime and a crime against humanity, revealing the deliberate use of starvation by the "Israeli" enemy as a weapon to exterminate civilians, especially children, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions. The office strongly condemned this ongoing crime against childhood in the Gaza Strip, denouncing the shameful international silence regarding the suffering of children who are left to suffer from hunger, disease, and slow death. The office held the "Israeli" enemy fully responsible for this catastrophe, and held the countries supporting and complicit in the crime of genocide, primarily the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, responsible for their active participation in these grave violations. He called on the international community, the United Nations, and Arab and Islamic countries to urgently intervene and pressure the enemy to open the crossings immediately, allow food and medical supplies to enter, and save the remaining children and patients before it is too late.
