Gov't media: Malnutrition kills 66 children so far
Gaza - Saba:
The government media office in Gaza announced on Saturday that the number of children killed as a result of malnutrition has risen to 66, due to the closure of crossings, the tightening of the blockade, and the prevention of the entry of milk, nutritional supplements, and food.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the office expressed deep concern and condemnation over the rising number of children killed as a result of severe malnutrition, reaching 66 children.
This is due to the continued closure of crossings by the Zionist enemy and the prevention of the entry of baby milk and nutritional supplements intended for vulnerable and vulnerable groups, especially infants and the sick.
The office stated that this behavior constitutes a war crime and a crime against humanity, revealing the deliberate use of starvation by the "Israeli" enemy as a weapon to exterminate civilians, especially children, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.
The office strongly condemned this ongoing crime against childhood in the Gaza Strip, denouncing the shameful international silence regarding the suffering of children who are left to suffer from hunger, disease, and slow death.
The office held the "Israeli" enemy fully responsible for this catastrophe, and held the countries supporting and complicit in the crime of genocide, primarily the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, responsible for their active participation in these grave violations.
He called on the international community, the United Nations, and Arab and Islamic countries to urgently intervene and pressure the enemy to open the crossings immediately, allow food and medical supplies to enter, and save the remaining children and patients before it is too late.
