Indeed, the Turks have prepared their first proposal for Yann Sommer as they aim to sign a top-class goalkeeper.

In addition to their well-documented interest in Hakan Calhanoglu, Galatasaray could pull off another raid on Inter.
With Sommer's contract at San Siro running out in 2026, the Turks see the Swiss ace as a potential low-cost solution.
However, Sommer isn't Galatasaray's first choice to strengthen the goalkeeping position.
Indeed, they've identified Chelsea's Djordje Petrovic as their primary target.
After a superb loan spell at Strasbourg, Petrovic could leave Stamford Bridge permanently this summer.
Yet, he would command a much higher price tag than Sommer.

AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham, seen here while on loan to AC Milan, is in talks to sign with the Istanbul-based Besiktas (Isabella BONOTTO) Turkish giants Besiktas said Friday they signed a deal to take English striker Tammy Abraham on loan from AS Roma with an option to buy. The club said it had agreed a season-long loan for the 27-year-old, who passed a medical after arriving in Istanbul on Tuesday, which could become permanent for a 13-million-euro fee starting from the 2026-27 season. Advertisement "A loan fee of 2,000,000 euros will be paid to AS for the 2025-2026 season," Besiktas said, adding that if contractual conditions were met, the move would be made permanent for "a transfer fee of 13,000,000 euros". That fee would be paid in instalments until 2030. The club had on Tuesday said it had entered talks with AS Roma and the player, who still has a year left of his contract with the Italian club and whose full name is Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham. Abraham signed for Serie A club AS Roma in August 2021 on a five-year contract after a move from Premier League club Chelsea for a fee of 41 million euros (£35 million, $48 million) and was an integral member of the side that won the 2022 Europa Conference League trophy. The former England international recently concluded a stint on loan with Roma's rivals AC Milan for the 2024-25 season, scoring 10 goals in all competitions. cta-hmw/lp

Report – Inter Milan Or AC Milan Could Move For Fiorentina Star As Alternative To Parma Wonderkid
Report – Inter Milan Or AC Milan Could Move For Fiorentina Star As Alternative To Parma Wonderkid Inter Milan or AC Milan could look to Fiorentina defender Pietro Comuzzo as an alternative to Giovanni Leoni. This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews. Advertisement Inter Milan and AC Milan look to be in for a real transfer battle this summer over Giovanni Leoni. The Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri are not the only clubs with an interest in the teenage defender at Parma. Juventus are also keen, whilst Liverpool have also reportedly joined the race. However, Inter and Milan are reportedly the two main contenders for Leoni's signature. The Nerazzurri want to reunite Leoni with coach Cristian Chivu, who brought the best out of the 19-year-old at Parma. However, their city rivals look to be just as determined to sign him. Inter Or AC Milan Could Target Pietro Comuzzo As Leoni Alternative EMPOLI, ITALY – SEPTEMBER 29: Pietro Comuzzo of ACF Fiorentina in action during the Serie A match between Empoli and Fiorentina at Stadio Carlo Castellani on September 29, 2024 in Empoli, Italy. (Photo by) Clearly, at least one of Inter or Milan will miss out on Leoni's signature. Advertisement And according to the Corriere della Sera, the clubs would both have a clear alternative. Fiorentina defender Pietro Comuzzo has a similar profile to Leoni. Like the Parma defender, Comuzzo is very young – just twenty years of age. And similarly to Leoni, Comuzzo has already proven to be a very strong and physical defender with no shortage of height. Therefore, the Corriere della Sera report, Inter or Milan could make Comuzzo their backup target to Leoni to bolster their respective backlines this summer transfer window.

Turkish teams rival Sunderland's interest in Lyon's Georges Mikautadze
Sunderland are interested in Olympique Lyonnais forward Georges Mikautadze (24), however, they aren't the only club in the race, as Foot Mercato have revealed. Whilst there will not be a fire sale at Lyon following the DNCG's confirmation of the club's relegation to Ligue 2, pending appeal, sales are seen as a necessity, regardless. Be it in Ligue 1 or in Ligue 2, there will be a new period of austerity under new president Michelle Kang. Advertisement Lyon set €20m price tag for Mikautadze? Mikautadze is one of the most sought-after players in this OL squad. Recently promoted Sunderland are interested in the Georgia international, as are AS Roma. However, Foot Mercato understands that two Turkish clubs, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, are desperate to sign the striker. Their interest is very strong, whilst clubs from Saudi Arabia are also in the race. As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, OL want €20m for the player, who was brought in from FC Metz last summer for a fee of €18.5m. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
