Maya Jama puts on a VERY saucy display while keeping cool in a skimpy mini dress amid Love Island filming - after sparking fears she may bid farewell to the ITV show

Daily Mail6 days ago
Maya Jama put on a saucy display as she kept cool in the back of a car while filming Love Island in Mallorca on Tuesday.
Despite being scantily clad in a stunning red and gold mini dress the TV host, 30, still required a fan which was blown between her legs.
Cheeky Maya grunted in relief as she sat with her legs open, before giggling with the crew that she sounded like a woman giving birth.
The stunner looked incredible in the eye-popping outfit which boasted a racy key hole detail and hugged every inch of her sensational figure.
Taking to her Instagram Stories Maya captioned the clip: 'Don't crease the dress'.
It comes amid fears that the TV personality could ready to say farewell to the ITV dating show as her career reaches new heights elsewhere.
She got the biggest gig of her career to date when she was announced as the new presenter of Love Island in October 2022.
Maya took over from Laura Whitmore, who presented for three seasons, and has been fronting the ITV2 show ever since.
But her career has only been going from strength to strength in the years since with a booming beauty business and a rumoured role in a Netflix show.
The Bristol native has also moved on from her ex-boyfriend Stormzy and is now being romanced by Manchester City player Ruben Dias.
As her star continues to rise, it must be a concern for ITV bosses that Maya may decide to pack in the day job and quit Love Island.
The current series of the show saw its lowest launch viewing figures since 2016 with just 1.4million tuning in.
Meanwhile, Maya has no shortage of offers for other projects to keep herself busy.
Although she is known as a TV presenter, Maya's first career goal was to become an actress.
She auditioned for roles in her teens and even made it to the final round for a part in E4 teen drama Skins.
When she didn't get the part, she focused on presenting instead but it appears her acting ambitions have recently been reignited.
The star has reportedly 'landed a sizzling new role' in the second series of Guy Ritchie's gangster drama The Gentlemen.
She will reportedly play the glamorous wife of a shady associate linked to Theo James' lead character Eddie Horniman.
Filming is already underway at the stunning Badminton House in Gloucestershire - a grand estate that doubles as the fictional Halstead Manor in the series.
A source told The Sun: 'Maya is over the moon to land a role in such a massive show with Guy Ritchie at the helm.
'The Gentlemen was one of 2024's biggest series and it's such a glossy, sexy show. It's a perfect fit.'
Maya teased fans earlier this year when she posted a Netflix script on social media , followed by a cryptic photo alongside The Gentlemen star Kaya Scodelario, who plays mob boss Susie Glass in the series.
Back in January, the BBC Three Glow Up presenter revealed she had been auditioning behind the scenes for a 'dream role' and hinted she wanted to play something completely different from her bubbly TV persona.
She said: 'My dream role, I would want to be like a villain or something that's completely not like me, so then it shows that I can actually act.
'And then people would be like, wow, two different people.'
Meanwhile, Maya's beauty business MIJ Mask has been going from strength to strength.
Companies House documents show that MIJ Masks now has net assets of £313,381, up by £75,000 from 2023.
With sales rising, the eye-watering fortune adds up to her assets of £1.83million from her TV work and advertising work through MIJ & Co Entertainment.
Maya launched the bio-cellulose face mask and eye patches brand in 2021, delivering high-performance, skin-loving treatments that combine luxury ingredients with bold self-care for a radiant, confident glow.
The brand's masks range from £9.99 to £17.99, while the eye patches cost £7.99.
Maya is thought to earn £750,000 per series of Love Island while she also reportedly banked upward of £50,000 for co-hosting this year's BRIT Awards.

Scottish police drama with 'palpable tension' races up Netflix top 10 chart

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Netflix viewers are rushing to watch a 'suspenseful' Scottish crime drama that's drawn comparisons to Broadchurch. Initially airing on ITV in 2017, The Loch was created by Stephen Brady and follows DS Annie Redford (Breaking Bad's Laura Fraser), an officer with the Scottish Highland Police as she investigates the murder of piano teacher Niall Swift after he is found dead at the bottom of a cliff in the picturesque village of Lochnafoy, Loch Fyne, Inveraray. However, it quickly emerges that a serial killer is responsible after its discovered part of Swift's brain has been removed and a human heart belonging to another victim is found close by With a huge task ahead, Glasgow based major investigation detective DCI Lauren Quigley (Happy Valley's Siobhan Finneran) is then brought in to lead the enquiry. Last week the six-part series (which was titled Loch Ness in the US) was added to Netflix, with viewers quickly taking the chance to binge it. The Loch is now the second most-watched TV show in the UK on the platform. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. 'This tartan-clad Broadchurch shows a lot of promise, not least in the way it plays on people's Loch Ness fascinations,' the Express wrote in its review. 'The peel-the-onion format here is familiar by now, but Stephen Brady's script and a group of fine performances keep it intriguing, nonetheless. A fine diversion for summer evenings,' The New York Times shared. Untamed Loch Ness Amy Bradley is Missing Critical: Between Life and Death Angi: Fake Life, True Crime The Sandman WWE Smack Down My Melody and Kuromi Squid Game The Jury 'You'll probably figure out the ending to Loch Ness well before the fog lifts, but my hunch is you're here mainly for the luscious scenery,' The Washington Post said. 'It does a good job of slowly building up a portrait of a troubled but brilliant man with little regard for authority but great regard for the law itself. Definitely worth a look,' The Post NZ added. Meanwhile user amwilson-50395 said the show 'feels fresh and has you second guessing at every clue uncovered'. 'The desire to uncover the truth is overwhelming. Suspenseful moments intertwined in a mix of both fast- and slow-moving plot points, if you are into British crime dramas, this needs to be added to your must watch list,' they wrote on IMDB. Others said it was 'compelling', 'gripping' and 'superb'. At the time of The Loch's premiere, its star Laura said the following when asked to describe it. 'It's all very dark and creepy but also has moments that are quite tongue-in-cheek. It reminds me a wee bit of the classic movie An American Werewolf in London. It has that that vibe and there's a lot of animal symbolism – wolves, crows, mutilated sheep and, of course, plenty of mentions of the Loch Ness monster.' More Trending When initially teasing details of the show, ITV shared: 'What secrets lie beneath the surface? In this stunningly set crime drama, some monsters are no myth. For Detective Annie Redford, the hunt is on to catch a killer. 'A murder in a small Scottish town sends the community into shock, and local detective Annie Redford is thrust into her first murder case.' The Loch also stars Don Gilet as psychological profiler Blake Albrighton, John Sessions as Annie's boss DCI Frank Smilie, Gray O'Brien as Alan Redford, Annie's husband, and William Ash as local tourist operator Leighton Thomas. England's hero Lionesses to ‘rake in £80m' after Euro 2025 triumph as two top stars tipped for I'm a Celeb and Strictly

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THEY battled their way to Euros glory in a dramatic penalty shootout - and now England's brilliant Lionesses are set to strike it rich off the pitch. Following their history-making victory against Spain, the likes of captain Leah Williamson and Chloe Kelly are now the nation's most in-demand stars, with the talented squad tipped to enjoy a deserved £80million windfall this year in money-spinning brand and TV deals. 12 Captain Leah Williamson has become a style icon Credit: Instagram/Leah Williamson 12 Chloe Kelly with her husband on holiday Credit: Instagram/chloe kelly 12 Alessia Russo celebrates winning Euro 2025 Credit: Getty Brand and culture expert Nick Ede thinks that success on the football field for England's women means they could be even more in demand than the men off it. Super sub Kelly, who coolly slotted home the crucial penalty in Sunday night's European championship final, has already said she'd love to appear on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. While winger Lauren James and Williamson are now in the same league as Lionel Messi, having starred in a Walkers crisps advert with the Argentinian superstar. Fashion brands, sportswear companies and glossy magazines are all desperate to be associated with the glamorous team who love to party. Nick tells The Sun: 'In many ways the Lionesses should be in more demand than the men, because they are winners. They have won the Euros twice. 'Their currency is going to be much much higher now. 'The advantage they have over the men is that they have an appeal across the genders. Men like them and women want to be them. 'They could make between £50million and £80million." But as with the men's footballers, not all of the first team will become TV stars like Gary Lineker or commercial powerhouses like David Beckham. Nick says: 'Collectively as Lionesses they can be making a lot of money, this is their time to shine. Inside Lionesses' boozy Euro 2025 celebrations as stars party with pizzas, beers and loved ones after win over Spain 'They could be the next Alex Scott, who is now a bona fide presenter on the One Show, or Jill Scott who was on I'm a Celebrity. But with every team you only get a few stand out stars.' Here we look at which Lionesses will be the big winners off the pitch. Chloe Kelly 12 Chloe Kelly has been tipped for Strictly Credit: Instagram/chloe kelly With her hop and skip run-up penalty technique and iconic goal celebrations, Chloe knows how to make an impression. The 27-year-old forward, who scored the winner in the 2023 final for England, always plays with a smile on her face. And she wants to bring that bubbly attitude to television as well by following former England midfielder Jill Scott onto ITV's I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Chloe said: "I don't think I would do well like Jill. I think Jill is so bubbly and the challenges just didn't phase her. But I think I'd enjoy it - probably more so.'' The Arsenal player is already worth an estimated £2.5million, having signed a £1.5million deal with Land Rover. Nick says: 'I am sure Strictly Come Dancing and all the major reality shows will be eyeing Chloe. Out of all of them she seems to be the most famous.' She has modelled for Calvin Klein and worn Prada and Versace for photoshoots. Chloe has overcome adversity this year, having been frozen out of the Manchester City first team following an injury. She said her 'mental well-being' had suffered due to a 'character assassination' and switched to Arsenal on loan. Leah Williamson 12 Leah Williamson models for Calvin Klein Credit: Calvin Klein/Zachariah Mahrouche The England captain is believed to be the highest earning Lioness, having raked in £4million so far. The defender is being compared to the men's 1966 World Cup-winning captain Bobby Moore. Fashion house Gucci took note of her glamorous appearance, making Leah a brand ambassador, while Calvin Klein asked the star to model their underwear. The 28-year-old Arsenal legend has also struck deals with Walkers crisps, Nike, Pepsi and Aston Martin. But she is a self-confessed 'introvert' who spent much of her free time at tournaments sleeping rather than socialising. That means it is unlikely we'll be seeing Leah on reality TV. Nick says: 'The big bucks are in longevity, getting a regular presenting show.' Lucy Bronze 12 Lucy at the FIFA Football Awards in 2024 Credit: Getty The veteran defender revealed that she played the whole of this summer's Euros with a leg fracture. That keep calm and carry on spirit is sure to make her a hit on challenge TV shows. Nick says: 'The injured leg story will push her to the forefront. Her heroics will propel her to get more jobs and more success. 'She is such a go-getter she'd be great for challenge shows like I'm a Celebrity and SAS: Who Dares Wins.' Lucy, 33, whose middle name is Tough, said: 'I've been in a lot of pain. If that's what it takes to play for England, that's what I'll do.' She earned an estimated £200,000 a year while playing at Spanish giants Barcelona and is worth around £3.5million. The Chelsea player led Sports Direct's Legacy Starts Here TV ads and has endorsed VISA, Spotify, and Rexona. Hannah Hampton 12 Hannah Hampton was England's penalty shoot-out hero Credit: Instagram/_hannahhampton Until this summer, the 24-year-old goalkeeper was not a household name. But Hannah's two saves in the penalty shootout against Spain in the Euros final has turned the Chelsea player into a hero of the nation. Many people told Hannah she wouldn't make it as a goalie because she had an eye condition that affects depth perception, but she proved them wrong. Hannah, who has over 300,000 Instagram followers, is yet to appear in any major adverts. That, though, is sure to change. She is likely to eclipse England's former number one Mary Earps, who won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2023. Nick says: 'Players like Hannah can be great role models and influence future generations.' Alessia Russo 12 Alessia Russo modelling for adidas x Gucci Credit: Inmstagram/Alessia Russo With Spain 1-0 ahead at half time in the final, England needed an equaliser and Alessia was the striker who scored the crucial goal. The tenacious 26-year-old star plays with a smile on her face and that has made her popular with advertisers. Her earnings in 2023, when she won the Euros with England, were believed to be £2million. Alessia has struck lucrative deals with Adidas, Gucci, PlayStation and Beats by Doctor Dre. The outgoing player appeared at the BAFTA TV Awards in May, is a regular at London Fashion Week and has appeared on the cover of magazines. She has a podcast with her England team mate Ella Toone called the Tooney & Russo show. Being an engaging talker is important. Nick says: 'There is a real trend for women being brand ambassadors. In tennis Emma Raducanu showed how much you can earn by being a winner. 'There are speaking opportunities that are lucrative, whether it is corporate or brand.' Lauren James 12 Lauren James and Leah Williamson in a Walkers Crisps ad Credit: LS Productions An injury curtailed Lauren's final, but the attacking player scored one of the goals of the tournament in the group stages. The 23-year-old Chelsea forward is eclipsing her brother Reece James, the defender who plays for England. Lauren appeared with Leah in the Walkers crisp advert which was often on TV during the commercial breaks. She has also made an advert for Pepsi, alongside David Beckham, worn Nike clothing and promoted Optimum Nutrition. With nearly 900,000 followers on Instagram she is clearly building up a recognition under the name J10, which is similar to Cristiano Ronaldo's CR7. It is only with off the field deals that Lauren will be able to overtake her brother financially. Lauren earns £350,000 a year at Chelsea, while Reece earns £250,000 a week for the same side. Nick says: 'They need to maximise on their success at the Euros because they are not as well paid as the men.' 12 Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2022 Credit: Rex 12 Chloe Kelly advertising The Gym Kitchen Credit: Instagram/Chloe Kelly

Loose Women erupts into blazing row over Bonnie Blue as viewers hit out

The Loose Women panel began to interrupt each other when discussing the controversy surrounding millionaire porn star Bonnie Blue The Loose Women panel erupted into a massive row on Monday when discussing controversial porn star Bonnie Blue. ‌ ITV's lunchtime chat show returned at the start of the week with Ruth Langsford as anchor, and she was joined by Mariella Frostrup, Frankie Bridge and Brenda Edwards on the panel. The ladies began to discuss pornographic film actress Bonnie, 26, who infamously had had sex with 1,057 men in 12 hours earlier this year, and the mass stunt became the inspiration for the title of a new Channel 4 documentary, 1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story. ‌ The move has made the former NHS recruitment officer into a millionaire. A day before the tell-all documentary on Bonnie airs, the Loose Women discussed her motives. Brenda said that she never 'get her bits out' for any amount of money, "I just I'm just a can't use the word morals," but Ruth cut in to remind her that everyone has a different moral compass. " ‌ Brenda shot back: "Her mother wouldn't have changed her mind [about the situation] if she wasn't being paid by her daughter. Tell her to go into the room where it's all happening, and I bet you she wouldn't!" This Morning host Ruth reasoned that Bonnie's mother was likely trying to 'support' her daughter. Mariella then chimed in calling the whole thing a 'very tragic story' and that she 'feels sorry' for the family because money does not bring happiness. She added: "Isn't it about what you care about? We live in a world now where everything seems to be okay if you become famous or make loads of money for it. She's getting a documentary on a public-funded platform, which is Channel 4." ‌ Ruth tried to bring the topic back to what Bonnie has been saying about the situation, and Mariella snapped: "I don't care about her. I'm talking about us. I'm not saying she can't be happy, she says she's scared to go out, doesn't lead a normal life, but more importantly I think it's awful that we're even talking about it because I just think it's inflating something that's really distasteful and is really just a sad, sad story. We have all lost our moral compass." Former Saturdays singer Frankie tried to argue that parents are more likely to 'stand by' their children even if they disagree with their choices, but the ladies began to talk over each other in disagreement as Brenda rolled her eyes and slammed it as 'disgraceful' that money is being made from such a venture. She added: "Do it behind closed doors, I just don't need to see it!" The heated nature of the discussion did not go unnoticed by fans, and they flooded social media with comments begging them to stop interrupting one another. One viewer wrote on X: "Only Mariella's opinion counts," whilst another said: "Shut up mariella , stop interrupting," and a third said: "Mariella gets so intense on this panel." ‌ Another asked: "Have to shut off when Brenda starts her rants. The arm waving is irritating as well as her voice" but another viewer agreed with the former X Factor star and simply said: "Well said Brenda" after listening to her opinion. At a screening of the documentary, Bonnie insisted she is 'very happy' with her life. But her notoriety, and her boasts of sex with married men, who, she says, should not feel guilty about cheating on their wives, come at a price. In the film, Bonnie, whose real name is Tia Billinger, says: 'The last time I went out by myself was probably about six months ago. Now it is not that safe. ‌ 'I get 100s of death threats a day, so it is not that safe when I walk around. I say, 'It is going to happen at some point, someone will come and give me stick' and fair play to her, at least they are getting up off their sofa. My worst one is acid, if someone did acid, and I could see some spiteful girl doing that.' Bonnie has split from her husband and her closest friends seem to be Josh, who posts her videos, and a stylist. She says: 'My sort of circles got smaller, but my team are also my best friends.' ‌ Director Victoria Silver followed Bonnie for six months, gathering footage of her having sex, and was at her January marathon for a couple of hours.
