Brock Lesnar makes stunning return to WWE after two years in exile to confront John Cena at SummerSlam

Daily Mail3 hours ago
After two years in exile due to his alleged involvement in the Vince McMahon lawsuit, Brock Lesnar returned to WWE programming at SummerSlam to confront John Cena on Sunday night.
Lesnar last appeared for the company at SummerSlam in 2023 and was written off television despite being one of the company's biggest stars at the time allegedly due to his ties to the McMahon litigation.
Lesnar has not commented on the incident publicly since being named in the suit in February.

I'm 19 and my sister hasn't invited me to her 'child-free' wedding but STILL expects a gift. Am I wrong for being furious?

A bride has been blasted online for expecting a wedding gift from her 19-year-old half sister - even though she banned her from the big day. The bitter family feud was laid bare in a now-viral Reddit post, where the younger sibling revealed she'd been left off the invite list for her sister's wedding because she's a teen. She later received an unsolicited link to the bride's lavish gift registry. Confused by the unexpected message, the teen messaged her asking if it was in fact her registry link. 'What else could it possibly be?' her older sister responded curtly. When the younger woman asked why it was sent to her, the bride replied: '??? You're my sister'. That's when her sibling pointed out the obvious - that she wasn't invited to the wedding. The bride, undeterred, claimed that it is common for people who can't make a wedding to still give the happy couple a gift. A bride has been blasted online for expecting a wedding gift from her 19-year-old half sister - even though she banned her from the big day The college student, who did not name herself didn't hold back. 'Can't make it =/= not invited,' she wrote. As it transpired, the real reason for the older sister had left her off the invite list was because it was a 'child-free wedding'. 'I'm a fully grown adult,' her sister argued. A defence for the argument, with both based in America, could be the view that the 19-year-old is a minor in regard to the country-wide drinking law of over 21. To which the younger sibling then pointed out the irony of the situation, writing that they were having a dry wedding - so it really shouldn't matter. Things quickly spiralled with the bride dismissing the argument altogether. Still standing her ground, the teen reiterated that she was an adult. And like many sibling quarrels, the exchange got rather petty with each trying to have the last word But the bride doubled down. 'It's my wedding and you're a teenager. It's clear by your reaction to my own wedding you are not mature enough to attend adult events or exist in adult spaces,' she said. Naturally, the exchange sparked a frenzy online, with thousands rushing to the teen's defence and labelling the bride 'entitled' and 'completely out of touch'. 'It's customary if you can't make it - not if you aren't invited at all. Your sister is delusional,' one Reddit user declared. 'And children aren't expected to give gifts at a wedding, regardless of whether they're invited.' 'This is the perfect response,' one said of the teen's blunt messages. 'And yes, OP needs to drag the parents into this too. Bridezilla is their creation.' Others were equally savage. 'Sis is being a child, who needs an etiquette lesson,' one wrote. 'Who begs a college kid for a gift and throws a hissy fit when she gets a reasonable no?' 'This is one of the craziest things I've ever seen. Older teens aren't children regarding being invited to a wedding - and mine was child free,' one more added. While the bride may have been expecting an air fryer or a fancy blender, it seems all she received was a viral roasting and a lesson in wedding etiquette. More hilariously, it was all courtesy of a Gen Z sibling who doesn't suffer fools (or unsolicited registries) lightly. And like many sibling quarrels, the exchange got rather petty with each trying to have the last word. 'It's my money. Not getting a gift. And begging for expensive crap from a broke college student is cringe as hell,' the younger sister wrote. 'You're being immature and unsupportive,' the bride replied. The final reply was perhaps the pettiest of all. '*Fart noises*,' the youngest wrote. 'My point stands,' the eldest concluded.

Disney World fans left emotional over latest addition to theme park: 'Can't wait'

Disney World has shared the star-studded lineup of musicians set to perform at the theme park over the next few months - and fans were left emotional after noticing one particular band on the roster. Disney announced earlier this week that The Beach Boys would be taking to the stage as part of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series during the 2025 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, more than six decades after the rock group was first formed. The festival takes place from August to November and sees a bunch of special food and drink offerings around the park, as well as a series of dazzling musical performances. The Beach Boys will close out the event, and are set to perform on November 16 and 17 at the America Gardens Theatre in EPCOT. Other stars on the roster includes a slew of new performers like KT Tunstall, Bowling for Soup, Ben Rector, The Wanted 2.0, and Jordin Sparks, as well as some returnees like *NSYNC alum Joey Fatone, Smash Mouth, Hanson, The Fray, STARSHIP, Hoobastank, and David Archuleta. The Beach Boys became an iconic and legendary rock band following their rise to fame in the 1960s. The band was founded by brothers Brian, Dennis, and Carl Wilson, along with their cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine. Unfortunately, all three brothers have since died, so the performance at Disney's Epcot will likely be put on by Mike and Al. The news that The Beach Boys would be performing sparked a fierce reaction online, as hoards of fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their excitement. 'The Beach Boys. Can't wait. RIP Brian,' one user wrote. Another responded to the announcement: 'The Beach Boys... nice.' 'LET'S GO,' gushed another excited person. 'May need to [buy the] dining package for The Beach Boys,' read a fourth tweet. 'Jordin Sparks!!!! Bowling For Soup!!! And The Beach Boys!???? They ate with this lineup!!!' a fifth said. The main event is located at the America Gardens Theatre stage in EPCOT, between Italy and Japan, per Disney Parks Blog. During a free performance, seating is first-come, first-served, and it fills up quickly. The outlet recommends planning ahead to make sure you have a comfortable spot to enjoy the music. Those who want to ensure they have a good spot can purchase the Concert Series Dining Packages, which offers a 'delicious meal and guaranteed seats to an Eat to the Beat concert.' It ranges in price depending on what restaurant you choose from $50 to $99. It includes 'an entrée and dessert, or one full buffet (where applicable) - as well as a nonalcoholic or alcoholic beverage' at 'most participating restaurants' as well as 'one guaranteed seat per person' at the concert. However, the packages are only available from Fridays through Mondays and vary in price based on the restaurant, per Walt Disney World.

Justin Bieber blows off steam as he goes shooting with friends on guys' trip

Justin Bieber took to Instagram on Sunday with a slew of photos from what appeared to be a trip with friends. The 31-year-old superstar — who shared a cryptic four-word post on Saturday — shared snapshots of himself shooting at a target in the woods. He bared his heavily tattooed arms and torso while going shirtless and wearing a pair of black sweatshorts. The father-of-one — whose son Jack Blues, whom he shares with wife Hailey, will turn one this month — sported black socks and white slippers. Justin wore a pair of sporty, translucent sunglasses and protective electronic ear muffs. He didn't bother captioning the images, which he spread out over multiple posts. One snapshot showed the music artist sitting in the backseat of a van while music producer Carter Lang drove and other guy friends piled in. Another picture showed Justin in a slogan sweatshirt with his infamous quote, 'It's not clocking to you.' It comes after the Daisies hitmaker appeared online Saturday evening to share a vague post with his 294 million Instagram followers. He shared a closeup black and white selfie and added a cryptic caption: 'Broke another olive branch.' The lifelong performer didn't add any context, but he could have been hinting at ending another friendship after a June post included screenshots from a heated text exchange he had with a former buddy. In February a rep for the star told TMZ he's had a 'very transformative' past year, in which 'he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.' Last week the singer admitted to 'selfish' behavior in another social media caption, writing, 'Thanking Jesus for his patience with me this morning. I can be extremely selfish and impatient yet Jesus always has his arms open toward me.' The boys' day out posted on Sunday seemed to also include music-making, as Justin shared photos singing into a studio microphone. There were also outtakes of the global star holding a guitar while dressed in a gray sweatshirt. Justin released his surprise seventh studio album, SWAG, to great fanfare on July 11. Several songs make mention of his public persona, personal struggles, and his commitment to his wife Hailey and their baby. There is also a theme of interludes featuring comedian Druski, in which Justin engages in candid 'therapy sessions' with the social media star. Rumors have recently circulated that the music sensation will tour Australia following the album release. Justin has not confirmed whether he will be touring, nor has Frontier Touring, who told Rolling Stone it had no information on any potential Australian tour dates.
