Emmerdale fans 'solve' who's helping Crowley target Joe after 'obvious' scene
The drama with Emmerdale villain Dr Crowley ramped up again on Tuesday, as the surgeon continued his plan to blackmail Joe Tate.
Joe has been tasked with stealing money from his somewhat grandmother Kim, to give to Crowley after his threats. Joe is fearful of turning against Kim as they're finally on track, and have quite the history.
But he knows that Crowley isn't going to back down, and he's already threatened harm towards his love interest Dawn Taylor and her children. Joe is clearly fretting, and he knows to get Crowley off his back and out of their lives, without Kim learning the truth, he needs to pay up.
Their feud stems from Crowley helping Joe to secure a kidney in recent months. Joe had been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and time was running out for him.
Instead of going through the usual process he paid Crowley a lot of money to keep him alive, and then transplant a kidney into his body in secret. But their plan turned dark when Joe had his uncle Caleb Miligan stabbed by accomplice Shaun in a fake car theft.
Crowley was horrified when a lifeless Caleb was brought to the place where he was waiting to perform the operations. Once he realised what Joe had done he saved Caleb and performed Joe's operation, but quickly fled and has not been seen since.
Recently Joe teamed up with Shaun once more amid him being harassed with messages, threats and someone being in his room. Shaun turned on him and knocked him out., seemingly helping Crowley, after Joe accused him of being the one targeting him.
But with Crowley revealed as the culprit, he soon made his demands and threatened his life. Now Joe is being blackmailed into stealing Kim's money to give to Crowley.
Crowley won't leave until this happens, and Joe has faked an investment scheme for work with Kim to try and get the money. But amid theories Kim could be aware of what is really going on, some fans think another villager is actually in on it all.
A recent scene between Caleb and his attacker Shaun was very random, and it got people thinking they were in cahoots. So now that Crowley is back, Crowley being the one who saved Caleb, fans have questioned whether Caleb has teamed up with Crowley, and maybe even Shaun, to destroy his nephew Joe.
The recent scene saw emphasis on Caleb trying to remember where he recognised Shaun from, not remembering him as the man who stabbed him. Caleb has met Crowley before so would be able to identify him too.
So is Caleb helping Crowley? After all he has a long-running feud with Kim too. One theory read online: "I think there's more to it than meets the eye. I don't think the Caleb and Shaun's scene was coincidence when Caleb's barely been in any scenes for a while, what purpose did it serve him bumping into Shaun other than to hint at some sort of involvement?"

Jeremy Clarkson to front new ITV show Millionaire Hot Seat
Millionaire Hot Seat will see 18 episodes in a fast-paced version of the classic quiz show. It will be presented by former Top Gear star Clarkson, who has fronted the show since 2018 after replacing former host Chris Tarrant. Millionaire Hot Seat has aired in Australia since 2009 and had 15 high-rating series. What are the rules of Millionaire Hot Seat? The format of the show sees six players compete against the clock and one another as they answer questions in a bid to win big money. Contestants queue for the hot seat, where one person at a time will face Clarkson. They then have to answer questions on the Million Pound Money Ladder. What does he do to hit the MEGA jackpot?#9MillionaireHotSeat | TODAY 5.00pm — Millionaire Hot Seat (@9HotSeat_) January 31, 2017 Only correct answers allow the players to climb up the ladder and a wrong answer will kick them out of the game and decrease the top prize. However, if a participant passes, they remain in the game and go to the back of the line for the hot seat, but they aren't promised another turn. The passed question is then given to the next player who must answer it correctly to stay. Who is Jeremy Clarkson? In another twist, only the top prize left on the ladder can be won and the player taking on the question has to get it right to take it home. Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment & daytime commissioning at ITV, said: 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire has reached 18 million viewers on ITV so far this year alone. 'Commissioning a new spin off format to further capitalise on the brand's success and popularity was a no brainer, especially with Millionaire Hot Seat already doing so well in other territories also.' Recommended reading: Matthew Worthy, co-CEO of Stellify Media, said: 'It is an honour to produce Millionaire for ITV. 'Millionaire Hot Seat is the main show's cheeky younger sibling, and gives us more Jeremy, enjoying more money-ladder moments, but with a whole new tone, pace, and feel.' Millionaire Hot Seat is set to hit UK screens in 2026, with filming to get underway this November.

Coronation Street launches search for new dog to join ITV soap - but there's a catch
Coronation Street bosses are on the lookout for a dog to star on the soap and have launched a nationwide talent search called Pup Idol with Strictly's Shirley Ballas on board to help Coronation Street has launched a nationwide casting search for a dog with their new competition Pup Idol. But there's a catch, as the doggies keen to become the next big soap star must meet a list of requirements to be a contender. The ITV soap has decided to look for a new canine star to appear on the cobbles, and Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas is leading the search through a campaign with This Morning. The TV star called out to viewers in a recent episode of the ITV magazine show, where she reminded hopefuls that their pooch must be well-behaved and obedient to be within a chance of securing a role on the long-running soap. She said: "We'll be looking for the best little pup in Great Britain, so I'm very excited about that and would like to see that we have some obedience. Continuing to rhyme off the list of requirements, she added: "Good behaviour - we're looking for something with [a] really good temperament. [The dog will also have to be] loving, kind, caring, well groomed and not easily distracted on TV sets, and maybe some good little tricks would be nice." Shirley will be assisted in the search by veterinarian Dr Scott Miller and Jodie Prenger - who plays Rovers barmaid Glenda Shuttleworth - and the West End star referenced some of the furry friends of Weatherfield past. Jodie, who lives on a farm with her fiance Simon Motson and once helped Andrew Lloyd Webber look for a Toto to star in The Wizard of Oz, said: "From Schmeichel to David [and] Eccles, many paws have graced these famous cobbles and they've probably cocked their legs on a few lamp posts as well. "Your furry friend could be joining that illustrious list. I am so excited to be part of the judging panel that will be putting the pups through their paces to see who will win the walk-on part in the nation's longest-running soap. "So if you think your pooch should play the part, then what are you waiting for? And who knows, you could be watching your four-legged furry friend make their television debut," she told viewers live from the Corrie set. Applications for the search can be found here, and fans must enter by July 25 to be in with a chance of getting their four-legged friend on screen. The lucky canine will be one of several pets who have featured on the programme throughout its 65-year history. Some of the more recent canine residents of Weatherfield included Evelyn Plummer's greyhound Cerebus, and the Platt family dog David, whom David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) inherited from a salon client. Prior to that, Maria Connor ( Samia Longchambon) was gifted a Labrador by her husband Liam Connor shortly before he was killed in a hit-and-run accident. Perhaps two of the more famous dogs to have resided on the cobbles include Chesney Battersby Brown's (Sam Aston) Great Dane Schmeichel, and Border Terrier Eccles, who lived with the Barlows at number one for several years. Other pets to have been included on the cobbles over the years included Yasmeen's pet chicken Charlotte Bronte, and rat Darryl, who arrived along with Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) shortly after his debut in 2011. In the early days, original Street battle axe Ena Sharples (Violet Carson) received a budgie called Archie but passed it onto her friend Martha Longhurst (Lynne Carrol), and Vera Duckworth (Liz Dawn) took a cat called Cleo to the factory to catch the mice. In the 1990s, Rovers landlady Natalie Barnes ( Denise Welch) had a cat called Tiger, and David Platt famously had a rabbit called Barney. Jack Duckworth (Bill Tarmey) was known for keeping pigeons, and his surrogate son Tyrone Dobbs ( Alan Halsall) found a stray one that he named after Beyonce.
