PM inaugurates preparations for 3rd Intel Conference of Great Prophet in Sana'a

Saba Yemen22-06-2025
Sana'a - Saba:
Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi on Sunday inaugurated preparations for the third International Conference of the Great Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), organized by the Charity Association for the Education of the Holy Quran. The conference aims to reaffirm the Prophet's pivotal role in shaping identity, history, and civilization, drawing inspiration from the Holy Quran.
During the inauguration, Prime Minister al-Rahawi underscored the conference's significance in upholding Yemeni identity and history, stressing adherence to the Prophet's biography, his moral example, and his divine approach to state-building and jihad for the sake of Allah. He asserted that the Prophet left nothing of human interest untaught, necessitating universal adherence to his teachings.
Al-Rahawi sharply criticized what he termed the "nonsense and things that Wahhabism has introduced to Islam," accusing it of distorting true religion by adding elements "Allah has not revealed from a Sultan."
He lamented the nation's past period of "loss" and deviation from true Islamic values, which he argued led to weakness, disintegration, isolation, and internal strife. He stated, "We have come to see the brother as an enemy and the obvious enemy as a friend, and the word Zionist enemy has even disappeared from the vocabulary of most Arab and Islamic Media."
The Prime Minister voiced deep distress over the nation's current helplessness in supporting the people of Gaza, who he said have been subjected to extermination by the Zionist enemy for over 21 months and denied basic necessities.
The Premier commended the "strong response of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Zionist aggression," highlighting Iran's missiles "that pound all Zionist military and vital sites and installations and force the Zionists to stay in shelters over the past days until today."
Al-Rahawi contrasted this with what he described as the Zionist security and deterrence force's previous regional control, now "shot down by Iranian missiles within a few days."
He further lambasted certain Arab media, particularly Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channels, for defending the Zionist enemy "more than the Hebrew channels" by promoting "crude and shameful statements of Israeli war criminals and their false and misleading narratives. He concluded that such media performance confirms their alignment with the Zionist enemy and Western colonial imperialism.
First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah echoed these sentiments, stressing the nation's dire need for such intellectual and cultural events to reconnect with its source of glory.
Miftah warned that Arabs and Muslims are being distracted by a current of decay and global moral decay spearheaded by the international Zionist system, which seeks to distort the nation's compass, direct hostility towards Iran, and divert attention from the real and historical enemy represented by the Zionist entity.
He characterized attempts by Arab Zionists to justify Israeli attacks on Iran and question Iran's response as efforts to deceive the nation into viewing Iran as the enemy, despite their shared civilization and history.
Miftah provided historical context of Israeli aggression since 1948, highlighting its wars and occupations, contrasting it with Iran's historical contributions to Islamic civilization in various scientific and intellectual fields. He accused Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain of financing massacres in Gaza and aggression in Yemen and Iran, and of openly funding America.
Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan al-Saadi also emphasized the nation's need to draw lessons from the Prophet's history and biography, recognizing Yemen's unique historical connection to the Prophet's teachings.
Dr. Al-Qasim Abbas, Chairman of the conference, outlined the event's vision and goals, stating it aims to strengthen the Yemeni people's close connection with the Holy Prophet and deepen the nation's bond by presenting his leadership and Quranic methodology across cultural, social, political, economic, and educational domains.
He called upon academics and researchers from Yemeni, Arab, and Islamic universities and research centers to contribute their scientific output to the conference, which will focus on extrapolating the Great Prophet's personality and guiding the nation towards the victory of the Palestinian cause.

Abu Obeida: Al-Aqsa Flood led to end of Zionist deterrence

Gaza – Saba: Spokesman for Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades Abu Obeida confirmed on Sunday that al-Aqsa Flood led to the end of Zionist deterrence forever. In a tweet monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on the anniversary of the martyrdom of former al-Qassam Brigades commander Mohammed al-Deif, Abu Obeida said: 'A year has passed since the passing of the great martyr of the nation, Commander Mohammed Deif, who, along with his brothers, led al-Aqsa Flood, delivering the harshest blow in its history to the Zionist enemy. This led to the end of Zionist deterrence forever, unifying the nation's energies, directing its compass toward Palestine, and restoring the Palestinian cause to the forefront once again.' Abu Obeida added: 'The brothers of Deif (the former commander of al-Qassam Brigades), his sons, and his loved ones around the world continue on his path, inflicting more strategic losses on the occupation every day, and his specter will remain a nightmare that haunts war criminals and thieves.' Those who will not enjoy life in the land of Palestine after al-Daif and his brothers wrote with their blood the final chapter in the book of Palestine's liberation. He added: Decades of jihad, persecution, sacrifice, leadership, and creativity were crowned with martyrdom, so that our great leader may join the ranks of our people's martyrs and great leaders. His blood and that of his fellow leaders will mingle with the blood of our people and our nation, who sacrificed their most precious possessions for Al-Aqsa and Palestine. He continued al-Daif has revived throughout the entire nation the memory of the Companions and the early mujahideen, such as Ali, Khalid, al-Qa'aqa, al-Muthanna, and other conquering leaders. For decades, Abu Obeida has remained an inspiration to generations who did not know his face but who were proud of the deeds of his victorious battalions. He will remain, like other great leaders, a beacon for all the free people of the world. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
