Hollywood star Brie Larson to release party-themed cookbook
The 35-year-old actress has joined forces with best friend and chef Courtney McBroom to create 'Party People', their new cookbook that they'll release later this year.
The Hollywood star told People: "Through [our friendship], we've thrown many parties together. We have a really solid group of girlfriends, and whether it's been road trips or at someone's house, parties, whatever, we're really good at celebrating. And part of it is because we love doing it.
"It's not just about the food. It's about knowing how to cook things confidently so that you can enjoy your party … the recipes are based off of those things so you can maximise time with your guests and not feel like you're the one stuck in the kitchen while everybody else is having fun."
'Party People' will feature more than 100 recipes and party ideas - but Courtney insists 'Party People' isn't a conventional cookbook.
She said: "It doesn't have to be hard. You don't have to do a ton of work to bring all of your friends together and your loved ones and to surround yourself with community. And that was one of the main things we wanted to do, is make sure we were helping people do that."
Meanwhile, Brie previously revealed that she hopes her work helps people to "feel less alone".
The movie star also explained that she's felt more free to express herself over recent years.
Brie told The Talks: "As I have gotten older and I have had the courage to speak out, I realised that the things that are inside of me, the things I am most afraid of, everyone is and I feel a sense of inner freedom by expressing it.
"By relating to people like yourself, you can go, 'Yeah. You are also crazy. I felt that, too.' What I am looking for in this world is a sense of not feeling alone, and that's one of the greatest gifts you can give to another person. I hope that my work does that. I hope that when people leave the theatre they feel less alone."

Heidi Klum 'doesn't worry about age-shaming'
Heidi Klum thinks society has become "more welcoming of wrinkles". The 52-year-old model has suggested that attitudes towards ageing have changed in recent years, observing that it's now "okay to be older". Heidi told People: "I feel like we're more welcoming of wrinkles and rolls on our body. Being accepted at every age is amazing. That we've changed and come all that way." Heidi doesn't have any fears of "age-shaming or body-shaming". She shared: "For me to be older, it doesn't matter. I don't have this age-shaming or body-shaming thing. Dax Shepard lets his kids curse 'when it's called for'
Dax Shepard allows his kids to swear. The 50-year-old actor - who has daughters Lincoln, 12, and Delta, ten, with actress Kristen Bell - has revealed that he has no issues with swearing in front of his children, and he doesn't mind them cursing "when it's called for" either. Dax said on the Armchair Expert podcast: "I fully swear in front of my kids. They are allowed to swear, not with impunity, but when it's called for, and they land it, and it's in the house and not out at a restaurant, it's OK. "My defence of it is, I just told the girls, like, 'Hey, these are noises that come out of your mouth, and you assign what they mean to you.'" Dax also acknowledged that his kids are exposed to curse words at school. He added: "You just don't want them to say it in front of a teacher." Meanwhile, Kristen previously revealed that she tries to set a positive example for her kids. The Hollywood star explained that she and her husband try to deal with their problems in the healthiest way possible, so that their children can learn from their example. Kristen - who has been married to Dax since 2013 - told People: "We always make up in front of them if anyone gets snarky or frustrated or fights, which we all do. The actress told TODAY: "When we had our first child, we said we wanted to be 'second child parents,' and we made an agreement that if she wanted to do something, as long as it didn't require a trip to the hospital, she'd be allowed to do it."
