Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Four impactful matches took place in Round 35 of the Iraqi Stars League on Saturday (June 14, 2025), with significant results affecting the race for third place and the battle against relegation.
Zakho SC strengthened their hold on third position, climbing to 66 points after a 2-1 comeback victory at home against Naft Al-Basra. After going down early, goals from Nasser Mohammedou (pen. 30′) and Youssef Al-Alousi (72′) secured the win.
