FC Barcelona And First Team Player Agree Transfer
An FC Barcelona star on the fringes of Hansi Flick's first team has agreed to leave the club according to outlets such as SER, citing anonymous sources.
Using X, formerly known as Twitter, SER confirmed that Pablo Torre has decided to play for RCD Mallorca.
'The saga is over; after considering his options, he chooses to play on the island,' the radio station explained, while adding how all that remains is to finalize the details of the sale between the two clubs and the layout of a buyback option.
Also on X, SPORT collaborator Quim Casademunt tweeted that the sale had been confirmed and that the defending La Liga champion will retain a buyback clause or percentage of any future sale of the young midfielder.
According to Casademunt, the sale is for €5 million to Barca's Spanish top flight rivals, who in 2024 reached the Copa del Rey final.
If the sale is for this amount, Barca does not make a loss on Torre. That's because it reportedly paid the same amount for him from Racing Santander in 2022, when he was talked up as the potential future of Spanish football alongside the likes of Pedri and since Lamine Yamal.
While those two stars went onto become full-fledge La Roja internationals and Euro 2024 winners, Torre, though an U21 regular, hasn't yet made it to Luis de La Fuente's senior side.
That's not helped by the fact he's struggled to secure regular minutes in Catalonia, either on the watch of club legend Xavi Hernandez or his successor Hansi Flick.
With the likes of Pedri, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, Marc Casado and Marc Bernal in his way to mention a few hours, however, it is no simple task getting one of three spots in the middle of the park.
Torre still leaves FC Barcelona a champion
Still, although he probably would've liked to have got more chances and made a bigger impact, Torre leaves FC Barcelona a winner. Even in such a short amount of time donning Blaugrana, he is a two-time La Liga and Spanish Super Cup champion while having also lifted the Copa del Rey at Real Madrid's expense.

Former Liverpool boss wants to sign Reds' POWERHOUSE midfielder
Liverpool need more departures We could see Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa and Ben Doak move on before the window closes - while Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton could also make way. Those sales would give Liverpool even more breathing space in the transfer market - as well as clearing significant room on the wage bill. One more player tipped for the exit is Stefan Bajcetic. The 20-year-old spent last season out on loan to Red Bull Salzburg under Pep Lijnders and at Las Palmas in LaLiga. Bajcetic in demand The midfielder, described as 'outstanding' by former Reds captain Jordan Henderson, has got admirers in LaLiga with Celta Vigo and Valencia in the mix to sign him. But a new contender has now emerged for the Spain under-21 international with Brendan Rodgers' Celtic coming forward with their interest. That's according to a new report in TEAMtalk, which claims a temporary deal plus an obligation to purchase is in the offing. © IMAGO - Stefan Bajcetic Liverpool Brendan Rodgers wants Bajcetic at Celtic 'Liverpool are open to letting the highly-rated 20-year-old Spanish midfielder leave in the summer transfer window, with a loan-to-buy deal being the likely structure,' the report reads. 'However, Bajcetic's high valuation could pose another challenge for Celtic, who are cautious about overextending their budget.' It's not clear how much Liverpool would command for Bajcetic. © IMAGO Bajcetic asking price He is under contract until 2027 and has not played much for the club over the last few seasons due to injuries and his loan spells. With Liverpool reportedly looking for more than €9m for Tyler Morton - who is under contract until 2026 - it could mean Bajcetic goes for slightly more than that. Whether Celtic have the funds to come up with a deal for Bajcetic remains to be seen. Nonetheless, the schemer is not on tour with the Reds in Asia and is expected to conclude a move away before the window closes.

Williams brothers say they have been falsely accused of fraud in Spain
BILBAO, Spain (AP) — Athletic Bilbao players Nico and Iñaki Williams said Thursday they have been falsely accused of fraud. The brothers released a statement saying they plan to take legal action against those who made the accusation. The Williams brothers did not provide many details about the accusation. Some Spanish media outlets had reported that the accusation was related to the ownership of a high-end vehicle. They said the 'false accusation is clearly made to damage our personal and professional image and to try to get us to make an improper payment.' The brothers said they are not worried about the accusation because they did nothing wrong and have faith in the legal system. ___ AP soccer: The Associated Press

Official: Como sign Ramon from Real Madrid in complicated agreement
Como have officially signed defender Jacobo Ramon from Real Madrid on a permanent transfer, in a deal similar to that of Nico Paz, with several buy-back clauses. The central defender turned 20 in January and is a product of the Real Madrid youth academy, moving all the way up the various teams. Ramon has represented Spain at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 levels. 'Jacobo is a young player with great prospects,' Como coach Cesc Fabregas told the club website. 'He comes from one of the most competitive youth academies in the world, where he has been able to hone his skills, and we are confident he will have a very positive impact on our team.' Why Ramon is owned by both Como and Real Madrid MADRID, SPAIN – MAY 14: Jacobo Ramon of Real Madrid CF in action during the LaLiga match between Real Madrid CF and RCD Mallorca at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on May 14, 2025 in Madrid, Spain. (Photo by Florencia) A statement from Real Madrid merely confirmed that they had 'reached an agreement for the transfer' of the player to Como, but gave no further details. The reality is a little more complicated, as Como are expected to pay circa €2.5m plus add-ons for his signature. However, Real Madrid are owed 50 per cent of any future sale fee and have three different buy-back options in case they want to bring him to the Bernabeu. (Photo by) This is the same structure that allowed Como to sign Nico Paz, as he had an option for Real Madrid to recall for €8m in June 2025. That rises to €9m in 2026 and €10m in 2027 before it expires completely. This complicated system allows Como to develop the players by giving them regular time in Serie A, but also for Real Madrid to potentially reap the rewards at a later date. In the past, it would've been called a co-ownership deal, but those formulas were banned several years ago.
