Georgia, Florida set to earn $7.5 million for playing at neutral site
The Georgia-Florida rivalry will take place in Jacksonville in 2025, but in 2026, both teams will travel up to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to continue the World's Largest Cocktail Party. There will be a huge payout for both the Bulldogs and the Gators. According to Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald, Georgia and Florida will each be earning $7.5 million to play at the Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The money will be sent from AMB Sports & Entertainment, the company owned by Arthur Blank that owns and operates the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. In 2027, the two rivals will be playing at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay.
That is because Jacksonville is undergoing a major stadium renovation worth $1.4 billion. The project is expected to complete in 2028, and Georgia and Florida have an agreement to play at EverBank Stadium until 2031.
The Bulldogs will continue their tradition of playing in Mercedes Benz for at least two more seasons. Their 2025 game with Georgia Tech will take place at Mercedes-Benz stadium on Friday, Nov. 28.
Kirby Smart will be looking to improve on his 7-4 record in Mercedes-Benz these next few years. Georgia went 2-0 at Mercedes-Benz last season with wins over Clemson and Texas.

Braves Make Ronald Acuna Jr. Move After Austin Riley News
Braves Make Ronald Acuna Jr. Move After Austin Riley News originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Ronald Acuna Jr. is in his eighth MLB season, having debuted in 2018 and immediately dominating opposing pitching on the way to National League Rookie of the Year honors. Advertisement Since then, despite suffering multiple ACL tears, he has established himself as one of baseball's most exciting talents—capturing the NL MVP Award in 2023 and earning five All-Star Game selections. He also etched his name into the record books that year, becoming the first player ever to record at least 40 home runs and 70 stolen bases in a single season. The 27-year-old superstar got off to a scorching start in 2025, though his team has endured a disappointing year, decimated by injuries to multiple key contributors. Atlanta Braves right fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. (13)Charles LeClaire-Imagn During Saturday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals, the Braves announced that third baseman Austin Riley left the contest early with lower abdominal tightness and was placed on the injured list Sunday morning with a right abdominal strain. Advertisement To reintroduce power, Atlanta dropped Acuna two spots in the batting order to third—the spot Riley occupied throughout July and the lowest slot Acuna has hit all year. Through 43 games this season, Acuna has already hit 11 home runs, swiped four bases and is batting .333 with a 1.040 OPS. Despite his individual excellence, the Braves sit at 41–52, ten games back of the third NL wild-card spot. Consequently, Acuna's name has surfaced in trade rumors, but Atlanta's front office has made it emphatically clear that they have no intention of trading their franchise cornerstone. Jake Paul Closes One Of The Largest Real Estate Deals In Georgia History With $39 Million Purchase of 5,600-Acre Ranch
Benzinga and Yahoo Finance LLC may earn commission or revenue on some items through the links below. YouTube icon and sometimes professional prizefighter, Jake Paul has just completed one of the biggest real estate deals in Georgia's history. According to the Robb Report, Paul laid out $39 million to purchase a 5,600-acre ranch in Decatur County. The property, known as Southlands, was originally a hunting lodge. However, it now appears as if Paul will have it all to himself to enjoy. Paul beamed about the purchase on his "Iced Coffee Hour" podcast, where he also revealed he has been dreaming about buying a ranch for a long time. "I've wanted to buy a ranch for the last 15 years," he said. "I wanted a place where I can wakesurf, hunt, and build a racetrack." Paul also said he was excited about the prospect of using the expansive property to begin growing some of his own food and commune with nature. Don't Miss: Warren Buffett once said, "If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die." Here's , starting today. $100k+ in investable assets? – no cost, no obligation. Although Paul began his career on YouTube, he has made a high-profile transition to professional boxing. He is coming off a victory over former world champion Mike Tyson in a lucrative pay-per-view match that, according to the Robb Report, paid him $30 million. Paul also told his listeners that he used the earnings from that fight to purchase Southlands. The Robb Report says Jon Kohler and Walter Hatchett of Jon Kohler & Associates brokered the transaction. Broker Jon Kohler & Associates, which handled the transaction, said in a press release that Paul's purchase was "one of the most expensive private land purchases in Georgia history." Kohler described it as "land ownership equivalent of owning an NFL team." The property's history dates back nearly 100 years, when conservationist Herbert Stoddard purchased a 26,000-acre parcel that would become known as Southlands. Trending: It's no wonder Jeff Bezos holds over $250 million in art — In 1937, Stoddard sold the land to former Rhode Island Sen. Jesse Houghton Metcalf, who built a lodge on a bluff overlooking Lake Seminole. It was under Metcalf's ownership that Southlands became known as a sportsman's paradise. Lumber giant International Paper (NYSE:IP) purchased Southlands in 1958. It owned the property until 2010, when it caught the eye of investor Jim Dahl. It's not hard to see what attracted Dahl to Southlands. The entire property is surrounded by a lush, protected habitat that provides hunters with an ample supply of quails and deer. There is also a well-stocked pond and plenty of streams for fishing. Southlands' eight-bedroom, five and a half bathroom main house is complemented by multiple outbuildings that include a guest cottage, barn, and two managers' quarters. Southlands was originally listed for $42.5 million, but Paul secured a small discount and closed the deal at $39 million. Southland is the latest addition to Paul's growing real estate portfolio. reports that Paul also owns a $16 million compound in Dorado, Puerto Rico. Like Southlands, it is a large compound and includes an eight-bedroom main house. That property also includes a 40-person hot tub. Paul is certainly living a charmed life.
