Jennifer Lopez's 'Vulnerable' New Song Might Be Filled With Jabs at Ex Ben Affleck
During her first show in her Up All Night tour, which got started yesterday on July 8 in Vigo, Spain, Lopez debuted an emotional new ballad. 'This is a new song that I'm gonna sing for the first time tonight that came to me when I was up all night one night,' Lopez said in a video posted by a fan in the audience.

Wearing a skin-tight beaded red jumpsuit, Lopez sang about being thankful after healing over a broken heart.
'Thank you for the scars you left on my heart / Was showing me that stars shine brighter in the dark / I won't fall apart because of who we are / But your broken parts,' she sings. Are you listening to the jabs at Affleck and his 'broken parts'? We certainly are!
The chorus of the song, titled 'Wreckage of You,' is all about feeling better after leaving a relationship.
'Because of you, I am stronger, wiser / Better than I've ever been,' she sings. 'I won't let you no longer, longer / Ever say goodbye to me / It was perfect while you made me believe / Really got only greater for me / And it made me stronger, stronger, bulletproof / Now watch me climb out of the wreckage of you.'
In the comment section, fans are already praising Lopez for her vulnerability. 'So beautiful and vulnerable! This may be her best ballad to date! ❤️' wrote one commenter. 'What a beautiful song❤️ I'm so happy you uploaded it ❤️ I'm crying 😢,' echoed another. Safe to say the emotional lyrics touched her fans, whether it's because they've gone through a tough breakup themselves, or their hearts just go out to Lopez during this tough time.
As a reminder, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, 2024. They had gotten married two years prior in their July 17, 2022 elopement in Las Vegas. Prior to that, Lopez and Affleck dated for the first time in 2002, got engaged later that year, but called off their wedding in 2003. They went on to reconcile in 2021.
Regardless of how everything went down between them, it seems Lopez wants everyone to know she's 'better than I've ever been.' We love to see it!Best of SheKnows

Rory McIlroy Credits Wife Erica Stoll For Scottish Open Performance
Rory McIlroy Credits Wife Erica Stoll For Scottish Open Performance originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Rory McIlroy is showing signs of his Masters winning form at the Scottish Open this weekend. After completing the Grand Slam in April, he fell into a drought with consecutive underperformances in several events. Advertisement The World No. 2 claimed the top spot on the leaderboard after the third round, with a score of 11-under par. Fans on the course loved seeing his renewed form, one that McIlroy attributes to the time he spent with his wife, Erica Soll. "It's my first realistic chance to win after the Masters, and I've had a great season. I won at Pebble. I won PLAYERS." McIlroy said on Saturday. "I think I just needed that little bit of time. And to be back here for last couple weeks, and feel like I could actually digest all of it. I feel like I came to this tournament with renewed enthusiasm and excitement for the rest of the year." Advertisement "We came back a few weeks ago and moved into our new home in Wentworth and have been trying to settle in. It's amazing what two weeks of a bit of detachment can do for you," he detailed earlier this week. "Sitting there being with your own thoughts for a while. Yeah, it's been nice to have this time to reflect and also to rekindle my excitement and enthusiasm for the rest of the year. Obviously, we have this week in Scotland and then a massive week next week in Portrush." Back in May 2024, divorce rumors arose surrounding the couple. Fans speculated that these personal problems were the reason behind his poor performance and shaky mental state in the PGA Championship and later events. Jeremy Clarkson reveals text to F1 boss after surprise sacking
Jeremy Clarkson has revealed the text he sent to sacked Christian Horner, comparing it to his own exit from the BBC. Writing in his latest column for The Sun, the former Top Gear host backed the F1 boss who was unexpectedly fired from Red Bull earlier this week. Clarkson expressed his sympathy for the Dutchman, explaining he could relate with his experience being fired as as presented on Top Gear after he punched producer on the show Oisin Tymon. Christian Horner, pictured at Silverstone, was sacked by Red Bull (Bradley Collyer / PA) "I explained that when you wake the following morning, it's easy to think, 'Well, that's that, then'. "But in my case, that wasn't that. I hadn't trodden on a snake. I'd trodden on a ladder. And I bet he does, too." But the real change came when Clarkson switched tack from cars to tractors, took over running his Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, and launched Clarkson's Farm in 2021 to much acclaim. With a similar length career in their respective roles - Clarkson had been on Top Gear since 2002, while Horner had been at the helm of Red Bull since 2005 - the Clarkson expects comparable success for the dismissed driving boss. READ MORE: Concerns raised in Didcot as new council HQ approved He wrote: "I spent a bit of time with Christian at the [British] Grand Prix on Sunday. And it was plain he had no inkling at all that the bullet was coming. "He was with his 11-year-old daughter, Olivia, whose mother had just died of eye cancer. And we mostly talked about that and how the poor little mite was coping." He added, however, that Audi coming into the sport next year, along with Cadillac and Chinese teams, would all "jump at the chance of getting Horner," but speculated that, like Clarkson himself, a career change could take him anywhere. Red Bull, meanwhile, are beginning a new era under Laurent Mekies, who admitted he has big shoes to fill. Max Verstappen's future remains in the balance, too, who is currently 69 points behind Oscar Piastri in the drivers' standings, and his stance on his team principal's sacking remains unclear, though he thanked Horner on social media after the announcement. READ MORE: Protests against Wallingford gravel quarry plans near Thames Clarkson's expectations for Red Bull are not positive, however. He wrote: "Well, look what happened to Man United when Ferguson was no longer at the helm. "On that basis, this once-great team may well end up, in a couple of years, in Formula 4."
