Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz Teams Up with Wegz and Dina El Sherbiny for Next Film

Egyptian actor Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz will once again team up with actress Dina El Sherbiny for a new film.
The untitled project hails from scriptwriter and lyricist Ayman Bahgat Kamar.
It marks the second collaboration between the trio. They recently collaborated on the 2024 romance-comedy feature "
El Hana Elli Ana Feeh
".
Yasmin Raeis, Mariam El Gendy, Hatem Salah, and Dala Harby — who plays little Hana — round out the cast.
Khalid Marie directed the pic from a script by Bahgat Kamar.
El Sherbiny can be seen next in the star-studded film "Darwish'.
The cast also includes Amr Youssef, Tara Emad, Mohamed Shahin, Ahmed Abd El Wahab, Mostafa Gharieb, Khaled Kamal, and more.
Waleed El Halfawy directed the pic from a script by Wissam Sabry.
It is co-produced by VOX Studios, One to One Productions, Film Clinic, and Film Square.
'Darwish' marks the sixth collaboration between El Sherbiny and Youssef after "Shaqo" (2024), "Asham Iblis" (2017), "Grand Hotel" (2016), "Kedbet Kol Youm", and "Taraf Talet" (2012).

Julian McMahon, "Charmed," "Fantastic Four" and "Nip/Tuck" Star, Dies at 56

Yara Sameh Julian McMahon, the suave Australian actor best known for his performances on 'Charmed,' 'Nip/Tuck," 'FBI: Most Wanted' and the early aughts 'Fantastic Four' films, died Wednesday in Florida after a battle with cancer. He was 56. McMahon got his start on a string of Australian TV soaps, including 'The Power, the Passion' and 'Home and Away.' He made his film debut playing a lifeguard in the 1992 comedy 'Wet and Wild Summer,' co-starring with Elliott Gould and Christopher Atkins. One of McMahon's first American TV jobs was a 22-episode arc on the NBC soap opera 'Another World.' He then landed a recurring role on another NBC program, 'Profiler,' before breaking out as Cole Turner on 'Charmed.' He starred in three seasons of the supernatural teen drama. McMahon's first major leading role in television was on Ryan Murphy's campy plastic surgery series 'Nip/Tuck,' which ran for six seasons on FX. He starred as Dr. Christian Troy, a womanizing and arrogant surgeon, who worked with Dylan Walsh's more milquetoast Dr. Sean McNamara. He earned a Golden Globe nomination for the role in 2005. Years after the FX series, McMahon's next major TV role was on 'FBI: Most Wanted,' where he played Jesse LaCroix, a supervisory special agent who mentored younger members of his team. He joined the series in 2020 and starred in 43 episodes before exiting in 2022. McMahon's other TV credits include 'Full Circle,' 'Hunters,' 'Runaways,' and 'The Residence.' McMahon's best-known film role was playing the villainous Doctor Doom in Tim Story's 2005 'Fantastic Four' and its 2007 sequel 'Rise of the Silver Surfer.' Other film credits include 'Red,' 'Faces in the Crowd,' 'Paranoia,' 'Swinging Safari,' 'Monster Party,' 'The Surfer' and 'The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat.' Amir Karara and Hannah El Zahed's Film "El Shater" Gets Poster and New Release Date

Yara Sameh The official poster for Egyptian stars Amir Karara and Hannah El Zahed's upcoming film "El Shater" has been revealed. The art also shows the film is slated to be released on July 16 after initially set to premiere on July 10. It will also hit cinemas in the Gulf region and the worldwide on July 31. While specific details on the upcoming project remain under wraps, the pic sees Karara returning to the action comedy genre for the second time since 2023's film "Baebae" (The Bogeyman). The cast also includes Mohammad Al Qass, Mostafa Gharieb, and more. Ahmed El Gendy is directing the film from a script he co-wrote with Karim Youssef. "Al Shater" is co-produced by Synergy Films and Pyramids Productions and marks the first collaboration between Karara and El Zahed. The pic will compete at the box office with other films released around the same time, including "Ahmed and Ahmed," starring Ahmed El Sakka and Ahmed Fahmy; "Darwish," starring Amr Youssef and Dina El Sherbiny; and "Rocky El Ghalaba," starring Donia Samir Ghanem and Mohamed Mamdouh. Amal Maher to Perform Live in North Coast on July 12

Yara Sameh Egyptian superstar, Amal Maher will perform live at the Address Beach Resort, in Marassi, North Coast, on Saturday, July 12. She is set to present several of her popular and latest songs. The evening will also feature a performance by iconic Lebanese singer Walid Toufic. Born on February 19, 1985, Maher began singing as a child by presenting songs by iconic singer Umm Kulthum. She was discovered at the age of fifteen and enrolled at the Conservatory of Arabic Music to begin her singing career. The acclaimed singer soon met composer Mohamed Diae, whom she eventually married and became the father of her son, Omar. She filed for divorce a year later. She recorded her first song in 2006 and received the support of Egyptian music icon Ammar El Sherei, who she considers to be her spiritual father.
