Remember the Ineos Grenadier LeTech prototype we drove up a mountain in Iceland, and then again in a muddy field in the UK? Well, after over 1,000 people expressed their interest in buying one, it'll soon be officially available to order at your local Ineos showroom.
Well, so long as you live in Germany, with the LeTech being offered to the rest of Europe thereafter. And so long as you have a spare €170,000 excluding VAT lying around for the Station Wagon version, or €171,000 excluding VAT for the giant Quartermaster pickup.

Yeah, it's not cheap. But you are getting a lot of off-road kit for the cash. These Grenadiers will start life at the Ineos factory in Hambach as muddy spec Trialmasters with front and rear locking diffs. They will then be taken to LeTech's facility near Stuttgart in Germany where they'll be fitted with 'a new heavy-duty five-link front and rear suspension layout, portal axles with wheel hubs offset from the main axle and larger 37in BFGoodrich Mud Terrain off-road tyres'.
The 3.0-litre turbo straight-six from BMW remains unchanged no matter whether you spec the petrol or diesel option, but LeTech also adds 18in forged beadlock alloy wheels, new brakes, wider wheel arches and running boards, a front winch, a rear ladder, a roof rack and a lightbar with six LED spotlights. A tyre pressure control system and LED rear lamps are also options. Yes, give us all of the spotlights. The tiptoed Grenadiers also come with a full leather interior, heated front seats, safari windows and a 'premium sound system'.
Orders will open later this month and Ineos has had 'numerous enquiries' from rescue services and aid agencies that operate in less-than-ideal driving conditions. They will be pleased to hear the modifications enhance ground clearance to 450mm (a 186mm improvement) and wading depth to 1,050mm (up from 800mm as standard). The new setup also provides much greater wheel travel and improved axle articulation, while the 3,500kg towing capacity remains. As does the standard car's five-year, unlimited mileage mechanical warranty, apparently. Very sensible.
Anything else you should know? Ah yes, it's now officially called the Ineos Grenadier Trialmaster X LeTech, because every collaboration needs to include an 'X' these days.

I Drove the 2026 Honda CR-V TrailSport, Here's My Brutally Honest Review
By signing up I agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge that I have read the Privacy Policy . You may unsubscribe from email communication at anytime. The family SUV goes off the beaten path Simply put: the 2026 CR-V TrailSport Hybrid is mostly the same CR-V you already know, but with a few meaningful upgrades that go beyond just paint and tires. By making a few cosmetic changes, along with a touch of off-road utility, the Honda CR-V TrailSport will delight those seeking more swagger, with minimal loss in terms of efficiency compared to their CR-V hybrid. Previous Pause Next Unmute 0:00 / 0:10 Full screen The top 10 best value used cars in 2025 Watch More The 2026 Honda CR-V TrailSport finally brings some adventure to the table Honda is finally giving the CR-V a taste of off-road flair with the new 2026 CR-V TrailSport, and frankly, it looks pretty cool. While this trim may not turn the CR-V into a rock-crawler overnight, Honda claims meaningful improvements in off-road capability for all AWD models, including this new hybrid-exclusive TrailSport variant. With an MSRP starting at $38,800 (before fees), the TrailSport slots between the Sport L and Sport Turing. Torque, technology, and trail cred At the heart of these upgrades is what Honda calls Real Time All-Wheel Drive with Intelligent Control. This system improves on past AWD setups by reacting quicker and shoving more torque to the wheels with grip. So, even if two wheels are in the air, the system can effectively brake the free-spinning ones and route torque to the grounded pair. It's smart, reactive, and makes the new CR-V far more trail-worthy on paper. Honda recently shifted from a 60/40 traction split (front/rear) to a 50/50 split, allowing more usable power to be directed to the rear wheels. Yes, the CR-V TrailSport is only available with the hybrid powertrain for now, but if buyers bite, a non-hybrid version could very well follow. TrailSport tires, looks, and trail hints Rolling on Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires (235/60R18), the TrailSport should feel more at home off the pavement than any CR-V before it. I've tested similar tires on the Pilot TrailSport, and they handled soft sand, mud, and highway cruising with surprising ease. The TrailSport trim also gains a unique front fascia with a silver skid garnish, a black rear spoiler and door handles, Shark Gray 18-inch wheels, orange TrailSport badges, exclusive Ash Green Pearl paint, and blacked-out window trim for added edge. Orange is the new tough Inside, Honda leans into the TrailSport theme with bold orange contrast stitching on the seats, dashboard, and floor mats. The TrailSport logo is embroidered into the headrests, and even the seatbelts are orange, adding a subtle but fun visual pop. There's also amber ambient lighting throughout key touchpoints, including the footwells, center console, cupholders, and door pockets. The materials and seat upholstery are unique to the TrailSport trim, giving the cabin a more rugged, purpose-built feel without sacrificing Honda's typical refinement. Source: Honda Driving the 2026 Honda CR-V TrailSport I often say, 'New tires can wake up—or totally degrade—the performance of any vehicle,' and the 2026 Honda CR-V TrailSport is a textbook example of that statement. The result? Mostly good, with a touch of compromise. Let's start with the obvious: those Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires are thicker, wider, and noticeably heavier than the standard rubber Honda typically fits to the CR-V. They feature an aggressive tread pattern built for dirt, mud, and snow, and they absolutely improve grip off-road. But they also come at a cost. Source: Honda On pavement, expect a small dip in performance. I'd bet money that MPG and 0–60 times are slightly worse. There's also more interior noise and reduced cornering grip, thanks to the added mass and squirmier tread. Unless you drive like an ape (which I do), it's not glaring, but it's there. Since Honda didn't revise the CR-V's suspension for this TrailSport, some body roll and lateral motion feel a bit more pronounced during quick transitions. That said, off-road performance is noticeably improved. Honda set up a small off-road-style course—nothing extreme, but enough to highlight the TrailSport's upgrades. It included loose dirt, a few small drops, and some off-camber sections. You could probably complete it in most crossovers, but it was just tricky enough to challenge traction and suspension. Thanks to the 50/50 power distribution system, beefier tires, and an overall rugged setup, the TrailSport handled it with confidence. Traction was clearly stronger on dirt surfaces, and during the roller test—where one or more wheels are left spinning freely—the TrailSport was quicker to route torque where it mattered and pull itself free. It's not a rock-crawler, but it's far more trail-capable than your typical family SUV. Back on the street, it's still the CR-V Hybrid we know—just maybe a hair slower, like it's lugging around a gym bag full of rocks. It kind of is, but let's be real: this was never meant to be a race car. If the extra road noise gets on your nerves, the 8-speaker audio system does a fine job of drowning it out. In short: it's still an easy-to-drive, sweet-tempered CR-V—just now, it's wearing a sleeveless shirt and showing off some muscle. Final thoughts I'm genuinely curious if the CR-V TrailSport is more than just a trim package. It clearly won't match the capability of the Passport TrailSport, but it may end up being the most fun-to-drive CR-V to date. If Honda can deliver on both looks and function, it might finally inject the CR-V lineup with a little adventure.

Get into the maxi-MINI for less money The 2025 MINI Countryman is the BMW sub-brand's SUV. The Countryman debuted in 2010 as the brand's first compact SUV, and the tall MINI is now in its third generation. While it resembles its predecessors, the Countryman adopts the brand's new design language known as Charismatic Simplicity, focusing on a more distinctly modern style with minimalist elements inside and out. The exterior is chunkier, and the new Countryman gets a larger grille that incorporates the bumper. It also sports angular fenders, a new headlight/DRL shape, and new vertical taillights. The new design language and the UKL2 platform also allow for an electrified powertrain, which is present in the 2025 Countryman SE ALL4. What is the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Backcountry? Keep scrolling for the top vacuum offers to snap up now. IndyBest's team of shopping experts have been covering Amazon Prime Day and other online sales for years. As ever, within our Amazon Prime Day sale guides, we only ever recommend tried-and-tested products and those from brands we trust. The IndyBest team have reviewed countless Shark vacuums over the years, and they almost always make it into our guides to the best vacuums. For Prime Day, you can save an impressive £170 on this cordless stick model. With 60 minutes of run time, Shark's signature anti-hair wrap technology and four attachments (from a crevice tool to a pet tool), it's an excellent choice for homes with four-legged friends. This advanced model is the most powerful vacuum in Dyson's V8 range, so it should be able to suck up even the finest bits of dirt and dust. IndyBest reviewer Siobhan Grogan tested the similar V8 absolute, and was impressed by its quiet yet strong suction, so we'd expect much of the same from this advanced model. Right now, there's more than 30 per cent off the price but this deal won't last forever, as the Prime Day sale ends tonight. This 25 per cent saving on Shark's handheld pet vacuum isn't Prime exclusive, so you can hoover it up regardless of whether you have a membership. When we reviewed it, our tester recommended the classic CH950UK for small clean-ups, rather than the whole house or car cleaning. Nonetheless, it 'sucked up all the dust in a room in minutes', they praised, and picked up an 'alarming amount of hair from [their] deep-pile carpets', too. Topping our list of the best robot vacuum cleaners, the Eufy X10 Pro Omni is a truly hands-off device. It vacuums, mops, empties its own dustbin, refills its own water tank, avoids obstacles and even washes and dries its own mopping pads. Tech critic Steve Hogarty was impressed by its cleaning abilities. 'The mopping function is excellent. It doesn't just drag a damp mop pad around, it actually scrubs the floors, helping get rid of dried coffee stains.' The best car vacuum cleaner has nearly 40 per cent off at Amazon. 'While it's larger than a typical handheld, its flexible wand and motorised pet tool make it much easier to manoeuvre inside a car than you might expect', our tester noted. They found it 'easily tackled a boot full of golden retriever hair' and 'made light work of gritty footwells'. Now reduced by nearly £250, Eufy's X8 pro robot vacuum cleaner takes the hassle out of cleaning your home. 'There's no doubt Eufy's X8 has made my cleaning chores much simpler,' said our tester, Sarah. 'It's one less job I need to do and, as a busy parent, it has become a huge asset in the daily battle against dirt and debris.' With app connectivity, a quiet but powerful design, and expert sensors that swerve obstacles, this is a good vacuum at a great price. Shark's clean & empty cordless vacuum cleaner was awarded the top spot in our tests of the best Shark vacuum cleaners. Our tester Zoe Griffin praised the cleaner's power, writing 'for a cordless vacuum cleaner, the suction on this is truly impressive – it easily tackled pet hair, dirt and debris on hard floors and carpets for up to 60 minutes.' Right now, it has an impressive 47 per cent off. Dubbed the best for flexibility in our guide to car vacuums, this cordless Henry model has been reduced by 20 per cent. Though it hasn't been designed specifically for car use, the quick pro was found to be ideal for reaching under seats and into footwells. 'What makes it extra appealing is the pod system, which traps dust inside for a mess-free, allergen-safe empty,' said our reviewer. 'If your car interior gets as much traffic as your home, this one's a worthy multitasker.' A very similar vacuum cleaner to this one landed the top spot in our review of the best handheld vacuum cleaners, where our IndyBest tester praised it for being 'absolutely merciless on pet hair'. It's lightweight at only 1.5kg, bagless for easy emptying, and runs for 20 minutes on full charge. Plus, it has an LED spotlight to highlight hidden dirt in dark corners and crevices. Its price fluctuates between around £170 and £110, but this is a good deal that gets you 21 per cent off this Prime Day. In our review of the best cordless vacuum cleaners, Vax's homepro detect pet design was praised for how easy it was to use – and now it's been slashed in price by an impressive 46 per cent at Amazon, which is the cheapest I've seen it. The gadget features 'a large, comfortable handle, labelled attachments and large chunky buttons', our tester noted, adding that its performance was excellent. 'The vacuum has LED lights to reveal hard-to-see dirt', they said, while the flexi-wand was 'fantastic for cleaning under furniture'. The Eufy omni C20 robovac is down to its lowest ever price, with almost 40 per cent off during the Prime Day sale. Eufy is one of our favourite robot vacuum brands, with the X10 pro omni earning the top spot in tech writer Steve Hogarty 's round-up. This model has slightly less suction power but still has most of the features we've come to expect of robot vacuums, including a self-emptying station and mop pads that automatically clean and dry themselves in the base. This landed a spot in our guide to the best handheld vacuum, excelling at cleaning up pet hair, thanks to its serious power. Our tester noted that 'it tackled dirt, gravel and pet hair without breaking a sweat'. The 'mini motorised tool was a particular highlight. It's small enough to get into awkward spots but strong enough to lift embedded fluff from fabric,' they added. The nifty tool now has 20 per cent shaved off the price. For quick and easy clean-ups, consider investing in Shark's wandvac, which is now at one of its lowest ever prices with this Amazon Prime Day deal. In our review of the handheld vacuum, our tester praised its lightweight and compact design, which makes it easy to clean high or in hard-to-reach areas. And if you bag it in the sale, you'll save just shy of £50. Our IndyBest reviewer Zoe Griffin said this was the best corded model for cleaning upholstery. She found that it took seconds to convert it into a handheld vacuum cleaner, too. 'Having only used battery-operated handhelds in the car before, it was a real eye-opener to witness the power of this corded Vax on our mucky car seats,' she wrote. With this deal, you can get it for almost 25 per cent off. This Amazon basics vacuum is a bargain at full price, so any discount is an added bonus. The cost has been dropped by 16 per cent for Prime Day, although its recent discount history suggests it could fall as low as £19.40 this week if you keep an eye on it. Our writer Zoe crowned it as the best budget buy in our corded vacuum round-up, finding it 'provides a decent amount of power for the price'. It's small, but this makes it a great fit for 'those fiddly and annoying messes that happen daily when you have children or pets'.
