Barbra Streisand Hits No. 1, Beating Music's Hottest Modern Stars
It's a busy Friday on iTunes as another tracking period begins in the global music industry. This week, several superstars release new singles, including modern-day chart-toppers like Sabrina Carpenter and Ed Sheeran. But on this Friday (June 6), it's a legend who rises to the top spot and scores a bestselling hit, beating even the hottest newcomers in the business.
Barbra Streisand reaches No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in the United States with her new track "Letter to My 13-Year-Old Self." The tune is a collaboration with jazz and traditional pop musician Laufey, who seems to be following in Streisand's footsteps by introducing younger audiences to the sounds of the past.
The tune is taken from Streisand's upcoming album The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume 2. The full-length, which is expected on June 27, sees the singer and actress teaming up with musicians from across genres for spectacular duets. Names like Ariana Grande, James Taylor, Sam Smith, Bob Dylan, and even Paul McCartney are all included on the project.
Streisand leads a packed top 10, as all 10 of the bestselling tracks on the iTunes Top Songs chart are brand new. "Manchild" by Sabrina Carpenter spent time at No. 1 early in the day on Friday, but the hours passed, Streisand was able to push past her.
The next half-dozen spaces all belong to the Backstreet Boys, as the boy band's past hits — "I Want It That Way," "Larger Than Life," "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely," "Don't Want to Lose You Now," "The One," and "It's Gotta Be You" — appear at Nos. 3 through 8, respectively. The group's album Millennium is also surging ahead of its anniversary re-release later this summer.
Not far behind that Grammy-nominated troupe are the latest releases by Mariah Carey and Ed Sheeran. The elusive chanteuse dropped "Type Dangerous" on Friday, and it currently lands at No. 9, just ahead of "Sapphire," the latest cut from Sheeran's upcoming album Play, which is expected to arrive later this year.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 Match Card, Start Time And Odds For Night One
WWE SummerSlam 2025 is a two-night extravanganza for the first time in the show's storied history, and it's kicking off with a bang on Saturday. Night One's headlining attraction pits the challenger CM Punk against the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in the first-ever televised singles match between two of Raw's biggest stars. The event will emanate from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and is expected to have an attendance of nearly 50,000 fans. In addition to Punk vs. Gunther, Roman Reigns will wrestle for just the fourth time in 2025 while country singer Jelly Roll will compete in a celebrity tag team match alongside Randy Orton. WWE SummerSlam 2025 Start Time and Streaming Info for Saturday WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night One takes place on Saturday, Aug. 2 and will air exclusively on Peacock in the United States. The event will be available on Netflix internationally. According to WWE, SummerSlam 'will screen live in select Regal Cinemas across the U.S. on Saturday, Aug. 2 and Sunday, Aug. 3' as part of a partnership with Fandango. In addition, WWE will host a three-hour pre-show on Peacock before Saturday's event. WWE SummerSlam 2025 Match Card For Night One (Saturday) WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night One (Saturday) features six matches, including three title bouts: WWE SummerSlam 2025 Betting Odds for Night One (Saturday) WWE has established some clear favorites for Night One of SummerSlam, but there are a number of matches with not-so-obvious outcomes. Below are the SummerSlam Saturday betting odds from BetUS: The X-factor here is Seth Rollins, who may or may not be legitimately injured and poised for a return at SummerSlam to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on either Punk or Gunther. Although Gunther only recently won back the World Heavyweight Championship and probably shouldn't be losing again, Punk has taken plenty of big losses and badly needs a marquee win, too. It's possible that Rollins pulls a Naomi and cashes in to make this match a triple threat, but the most likely option is that Punk narrowly defeats Gunther, perhaps with a creative pin, and Rollins cashes in on him immediately afterward. Roman Reigns and Jey Uso are arguably WWE's two most beloved babyfaces right now. In other words, they probably aren't losing at SummerSlam. The most logical reason why this is a tag team match instead of two separate singles matches is so that Reed, the least pushed star here, can take the pin in MetLife Stadium, probably after a spear from 'The OTC1.' Tiffany Stratton hasn't clicked quite as well as champion as one would have imagined, but the same is true of Jade Cargill in terms of her in-ring performances. On one hand, Stratton isn't as over as a fan favorite as she should be. On the other hand, neither is Cargill, and as a far as actual wrestling ability, she isn't at the level of most of WWE's top singles stars in the women's division. Cargill is, however, getting a massive push after winning Queen of the Ring, signifying that she's likely the one who will end Stratton's underwhelming reign as WWE Women's Champion. An apparent late replacement for rapper Travis Scott, country music artist Jelly Roll is clearly working very hard to ensure his pairing with Randy Orton and feud with Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul goes as well as possible. Orton is so beloved right now and performing at such a high-level that the most likely scenario is for 'The Viper' to end this match with an RKO on Paul. A win for Orton and Jelly Roll will get WWE a lot of media attention, which is precisely why this match is happening to begin with. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair were reportedly set to quickly split in time for a singles match against one another at SummerSlam until Flair herself requested that they stick together. That's actually worked out really well so far as the unlikely duo has gelled quite nicely and Flair is arguably more over as a babyface than she's ever been. With Flair and Bliss having such great chemistry so quickly, WWE needs to strike while the iron is hot and crown them as champions in New Jersey. WWE surprisingly booked this match for SummerSlam, giving into fan demand to see Kross more prominently featured on Raw. Thus far, the two stars are tied at one win each, and in a rubber match like this, the babyface tends to win, especially when he's beloved as someone like Sami Zayn, who appears to be in line for a potential world title push in the later stages of the year. With Kross's contract status also uncertain, a win for Zayn feels like the safest bet among Saturday's matches at WWE SummerSlam.

The Colorful Sneaker We'll Be Wearing on Repeat This Fall
A splash of color, whether it's your handbag, jacket, or a piece of jewelry, has the power to transform even the most basic of outfits. Welcome: red sneakers. When it comes to making a statement with minimal effort in 2025, a colour-pop sneaker—specifically, in a shade of stop-sign red—seems to have particular allure. A satisfying mix of sporty and stylish, red sneakers as a trend sits halfway between casual staple and statement-making accessory, and has become a focal point for many an it-girl outfit this summer—that's Emily Ratajkowski in a white linens and Iris Law's urban, denim trompe l'oeil co-ord included. Emily Ratajkowski - Christopher Peterson / / But the best thing about this look? While red is enjoying a moment in the spotlight right now, we know it's a shade that will transcend any seasonal trend fluctuations. The red sneaker can look just as good on holiday with shorts and a tank top as it will during the first days of fall—simply style with baggy jeans, a cashmere crewneck, and sand-coloured trench coat—on lazy weekends and in your 9-5 if styled with suit pants for some welcome juxtaposition.
