Danny Dyer's earnings 'unveiled' after being 'skint' before landing EastEnders role

Danny Dyer has earned a huge fortune thanks to his work in TV and film, but the actor has been honest about his financial woes in the past
Danny Dyer 's impressive earnings have reportedly been disclosed, following a series of successful roles in popular shows over the past year.

The 48 year old star, known for his performances in Mean Machine and Football Factory, has been candid about his financial struggles in the past, confessing he hit a rough patch before securing his role on EastEnders.

Danny was cast as Mick Carter in the BBC One soap in 2013 and remained a regular in Walford until 2022, when his character mysteriously disappeared at sea.

Since leaving EastEnders, Danny has secured a number of acting roles. He's starred in ITV 's Rivals and Sky's Mr. Bigstuff, which earned him a BAFTA for his performance.
Thanks to this success, Danny's amassed a substantial fortune, with accounts filed at Companies House revealing that his company, Arty Bucco, made £1.4 million in the last financial year, reports OK!.

These figures show Danny has made an impressive £712,221 more than the previous year, according to MailOnline.
In addition to his acting income, Danny's also earned money from hosting shows such as The Wall and Scared of the Dark.
He's also appeared in documentaries like Danny Dyer's Right Royal Family and participated in shows such as Celebrity Gogglebox and The Assembly.

However, Danny's wealth hasn't always been so vast, with the actor admitting he was struggling financially before landing his role in EastEnders in 2013.
Previously speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show, Danny admitted: "I didn't have an audition, they rung me up, I had a touch. They said, 'Listen we want you to come in the show, take over the Queen Vic' and at the time I was skint and I just had about enough petrol money to get there, that's the truth.
"They thought I was a multimillionaire and I met them in the hotel and I walked in absolutely skint, not a bean about me. I thought, I hope they don't ask me to get them a lager because I've got no dough."
He confessed that he attempted to "play down" his enthusiasm at being offered the part, as he didn't want to "look desperate" in front of BBC executives.
He added: "I went, 'I'll think about it' and then I walked out and I did a couple of backflips on the way out! I played it right down, I didn't want to look desperate and I was desperate."

Love Island icon's bombshell revelations about one finalist - 'Walking red flag of a man'

Montana Brown has dropped some very juicy information about Harry - moments before this year's Love Island final airs and the winners are crowned Love Island legend Montana Brown has 'spilled the tea' on this year's contestant Harry Cooksley moments before tonight's final airs on ITV. ‌ The 29-year-old took to TikTok to tell her 581,000 followers some very juicy info on the villa lothario, who is currently coupled up with Shakira Khan. Dishing the dirt on the 30-year-old footballer, the mum-of-two has claimed Harry was actually dating one of her friends right before he went on the dating show. ‌ Urging fans not to vote for the 'walking red flag of a man', she said on a video: "Guys, I've not been involved in the whole Love Island chat. But I know tonight is the final - so this is the tea, right. ‌ "Harry was literally seeing someone that I knew, one of my good friends, right before he went on Love Island. He wrote her a letter and said, 'Oh my gosh. I know you're going to be really surprised at this, but I still love you and, you know, we're going to be together. And I just need to sort my head out.' You know, all of this crap." Getting more worked up, Montana continued: "And now, I'm like, this guy cannot win! Although, I love Shakira. From what I've seen of her, she's incredible. "So I think we just have to think about - let's save Shakira and not let them win. Because he will just grab the money and run from what we know about him. So that's the tea from me." ‌ Revealing the excuse Harry gave her friend instead of being honest about going on Love Island, Montana added: "Also, he told my friend he was going to Bali. Need I say more?!" However, some fans questioned the timing of the video - and wished Montana had said something sooner. One commented: "Montana the vote opened yesterday - it's too late for this info!" ‌ Another wrote: "Too late, I already voted for Shakira!" A third asked: "Why is Montana only saying this now on the night of the final? She could have said it two months ago..." A fourth asked: "Didn't he write a letter to his ex Emma stating something similar before going on? She said she thought he meant he was going to rehab." A fifth jokingly asked: "How many love letters is this man going to write?" While a sixth posted: "This information needs to reach Shakira's mum." ‌ But others were still 'team Harry', with one Love Island fan saying: "Harry has made this season, he's an inspiration, he has to win." Another wrote: "Harry for the win!" A third observed: "I don't get all these stunning girls going for Harry lol, although past week he's kinda won me over a bit." Love Island's finale, which airs from 9pm tonight, looks set to be a belter. After weeks of drama under the Spanish sun, the four final couples will be treated to one last date before finding out who will be declared the winners - and waltz off with the £50,000 prize money. Host Maya Jama will be in charge of proceedings as Harry and Shakira battle it out against Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes, Angel Swift and Toni Laites and Cach Mercer to be crowned the 2025 winners. Harry and Shakira are currently favourites to win, according to bookies. This may surprise some viewers, especially as they are one of the newer couples to snuggle up after weeks of exploring other connections. But will people still vote for him after Montana's 'spill the tea' video...

Coronation Street favourite will make a sensational return to the show as new Rovers Return landlord... as ITV strike back after EastEnders reinstated Kat Slater and Alfie Moon at the Queen Vic

Coronation Street bosses have taken action to ensure the show's infamous pub isn't outshone by EastEnders' reinstatement of Kat and Alfie Moon at the Vic. In a bid to ensure that soap fans' eyes are also on the Rovers Return, they have brought back Catherine Tyldesley, 41, (AKA Eva Price) as the pub's new sexy landlady. She will not be alone in catering to the drinking needs of Weatherfield and will be joined by Aaron McCusker, 46, who will play her new husband. An insider told The Sun: 'Corrie bosses were never going to take EastEnders ' shrewd decision to reinstate Kat and Alfie at the Vic lying down. 'So they took their time looking for the perfect actor to play her husband to Eva as she makes her return to Corrie as the new boss of the Rovers. 'When Aaron walked in, and once paired with Catherine, bosses knew they had the perfect partnership to run the soap's iconic pub.' Describing the pair's chemistry as 'electric', the insider noted that Aaron will bring his Irish charm to the pub as the pair put on a 'happy and loved-up' display. However, despite having all the friendliness associated with the Irish, the insider stressed that Aaron is not a character to be messed with. They added: 'It's the start of an exciting new chapter in the pub's history.' In case your memory needs refreshing, Cath left the show back in 2018 to pursue other acting opportunities and bosses have reportedly been trying to convince her to return for years. While Aaron is a newbie to the cobbles, fans might recognise him from the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, where he played Freddie Mercury's partner, Jim Hutton. The actor also made a name for himself in Shameless as Jamie Maguire. News of the latest change on the cobblestones comes after it was announced that the show had been pulling in record viewers after making one recent change. The change took place in October 2024, when the long-running show became available to view on ITVX from 7am on the day of broadcast. Describing the pair's chemistry as 'electric', the insider noted that Aaron will bring his Irish charm to the pub as the pair put on a 'happy and loved-up' display This meant that soap fans could either chose to tune in early or watch their favourite soaps at a time that better suits them. The decision to make the change came after BBC soap East Enders made a similar switch to iPlayer a few years ago. Following the change, both Corrie and Emmerdale, which also made the switch, have enjoyed a record 124 million streams in 2025's first quarter. This meant that there have been an impressive one billion streams on ITVX so far this year. To put the change into context, compared to this time last year, soap viewing has increased by 35 percent. ITV's Managing Director of Media and Entertainment Kevin Lygo said: 'We have totally transformed our streaming offer with ITVX over the past couple of years. 'All our teams internally, alongside the best producers in the business, have helped deliver these brilliant numbers, by producing, promoting and delivering this fantastic content to audiences to stream.'

One episode saw three people reach the very end - Victoria, Phil and Anne. Victoria opted to take her share of £10,000, while the other two decided to play for the £99,000 jackpot. The question was: "All the words in this list have something specific in common. What is it?" Meanwhile, the four words were: Into, Therefore, Evaluate and Benign. Anne shared she'd answered that all four words "had names in them". As for Phil, he'd gone with that all four contained two words - but then ruled this out due to benign. Unfortunately for the pair, both of them turned out to be incorrect and lost out on the prize. Lee revealed: "They all end with the sound of a number - two, four, eight and nine."
