Tata Motors is preparing to launch a lifetime warranty with unlimited kilometres for the Curvv EV and Nexon EV. The 'lifetime' here refers to the period of fifteen years from the first date of registration of the vehicle at the local RTO office. Even the existing owners will be able to get these benefits.
It is important to note that owners of only the 45 kWh Nexon EV are eligible for this benefit. For the second registration onwards, the warranty will be 8 years or 1,60,000 km for the Nexon EV 45 and Curvv EV. Tata says that all the owners after the first one need to inform the brand about the ownership transfer or else the battery warranty will not be offered. Tata unlimited warranty terms and conditions
Tata Motors has set a few terms and conditions that the buyer will have to follow to retain his or her unlimited warranty.
The vehicle must be serviced or repaired at an authorised TATA.ev service station, following the maintenance schedule recommended by TATA Passenger Electric Mobility Limited.
Registration of the vehicle should be done in the name of private individuals.
Registrations made under the company perk car scheme for employees, including subsequent transfers of the vehicle to the same employee. The warranty shall be null and void if the vehicle is transferred or sold to any third party.
The vehicle must maintain an active & uninterrupted IRA.ev connection throughout the entire ownership period.
The battery must be free from any physical damage or tampering.
In case of replacement/repair of HV battery during the warranty period, TATA.ev will bring the energy capacity of the HV battery to a value equal to steady state SOH before battery replacement or at 80 per cent, whichever is higher.
We would request that you to get in touch with the nearest dealerships, as they would be able to explain and have the full list of terms and conditions.

Reliance wants to go solo in its fight with Blinkit, Zepto and others; CFO says: It is difficult to ...

Reliance wants to go alone and is not keen on an acquisition in Quick Commerce space. This means that the company is not planning to go the acquisition route in its fight with the likes of Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Tata-owned BigBasket and Zepto. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now According to a report in Economic Times, Reliance Industries said that based on an analysis of the cost structures of some of the players in the Quick Commerce market, acquisition does not make sense. In the past one year, India's Quick Commerce sector emerged as the biggest retail success story. The industry has scaled rapidly into a $10 billion gross merchandise value market with 30 million monthly users. The quick commerce sector accounted for over two-thirds of all e-grocery orders last year. "The dramatic rise of quick commerce (i.e., delivery in less than 30 minutes) has been one of the most defining hallmarks of India's e-retail market over the last two years," according to a report by consultancy firm Bain and e-commerce giant Flipkart. However, so far, metros drive 80% of the total sales. Also, despite large players in ecommerce including JioMart , Flipkart and Amazon; the quick commerce space so far is largely dominated by Zepto, Blinkit and Instamart. Reliance Retail CFO: Planning no acquisition and will only open Dark Stores where it has no stores Reliance Retail said that the company's own stores will be the backbone of its quick service model and dark stores will supplement and help fill the gaps. Initially, Reliance was focusing on the next day delivery, however, the company realized that customers want convenience and more quicker delivery. During post-earnings all, Dinesh Taluja, CFO at Reliance Retail, said, "We do not want to leave any pocket where we are not competitive. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Organic versus inorganic is an interesting one. It is very difficult to integrate somebody with your existing network. We have been focusing on building our network organically. And we have a big customer base which is already there with us." He further added that the company only sets up dark stores where there is enough order volume, but its stores are not able to support it, or have no presence. "So, economics is much better for me because I am able to leverage existing infrastructure. And most of my dark stores are in places where the order volumes are high and dark stores are a positive contribution margin from day one," he said. During the quarter ended June, Reliance said its daily orders in the quick hyperlocal commerce grew 68% quarter-on-quarter and 175% from a year ago.

Shubhranshu Singh steps down from Tata Motors after four-year tenure

Shubhranshu Singh has exited Tata Motors after four years as Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for the company's Commercial Vehicles (CV) division. His resignation comes at a pivotal time for the company, which is currently undergoing structural reorganisation. The Tata Group is in the process of separating its passenger and commercial vehicle businesses into independent entities. The commercial vehicles division is being transitioned into a new company, TML Commercial Vehicles Ltd (TMLCVL). Though Singh's departure coincides with this shift, no official link has been confirmed between the two developments. Singh joined Tata Motors at a time when the CV business lacked a formalised marketing structure. He set up the division's first dedicated brand and marketing framework, appointing brand managers with clear mandates. His tenure saw the repositioning of the corporate identity through the 'Better Always' campaign, intended to align the CV business with a renewed strategic direction ahead of its demerger and listing. He also led the launch of multiple sub-brands, covering both product (EV, lubricants, spares) and non-product offerings (telematics platforms), aiming to broaden the CV business's identity beyond just vehicles. Digital overhaul and shift to data-driven marketing One of Singh's most significant contributions was a complete overhaul of the marketing ecosystem. He transitioned Tata Motors CV from traditional, campaign-based activity to an always-on, digital-first model. This included the deployment of a customer data platform, programmatic advertising, multilingual creator networks, and AI-based personalisation through Salesforce CRM. Over 25% of the company's commercial vehicle sales are now attributed to digital channels—an outcome of the integrated digital ecosystem Singh helped build. EV market entry and thought leadership Under Singh's leadership, Tata Motors CV launched the Ace EV and Ace Pro EV, becoming an early mover in India's four-wheeler electric cargo segment. These launches were supported by an accompanying brand narrative focused on reliability and future readiness, aimed at building trust among fleet operators and small businesses. Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Singh is known in the industry for his thought leadership. He has published extensively on branding , consumer behaviour, and digital transformation, and regularly speaks at industry conferences. He serves as the only Asia-Pacific representative on the Effie Lions Foundation board, which focuses on mentoring young marketing talent. In 2025, Singh was recognised by Forbes as one of the World's Most Influential CMOs, citing his data-driven creativity and business impact. He has previously held marketing leadership roles at Royal Enfield (as Global Head of Marketing), Star TV Sports, Visa, Diageo, and Hindustan Unilever. Tata Motors has not yet announced a replacement for Singh. His next role is expected to be revealed soon.
