6 open-world mechanics GTA 6 should borrow from Ubisoft's games

When it comes to open worlds, Ubisoft has been doing
a lot
. Sure, not everything hits, but some mechanics from games like
Assassin's Creed
,
Far Cry
, and
Watch Dogs
have changed how we explore digital worlds. With
GTA 6
bringing us back to Vice City in full next-gen glory, Rockstar has a shot to level up — and borrowing a few tricks from Ubisoft wouldn't hurt. Here are 6 open-world mechanics from Ubisoft that
GTA 6
should totally steal.
1. Seamless Co-Op (Watch Dogs: Legion)
Watch Dogs: Legion
gave us the ability to hop into missions with friends
on the fly
. No loading screens. No hassle.
GTA Online
is great, but if
GTA 6
's campaign or side missions had instant co-op like Ubisoft's? Instant upgrade. Just press a button and boom — your buddy's in the mission with you.
GTA 6 New Parkour Mechanisms
2. Parkour Climbing (Assassin's Creed)
Vice City's rooftops and high-rises are begging to be explored. Ubisoft's
Assassin's Creed
climbing system would be perfect.
Let Lucia and Jason scale buildings, escape the cops parkour-style, or sneak into places like real pros. No more getting stuck on knee-high fences, please.
3. World Events & Ambushes (Far Cry)
You're vibing through the jungle in
Far Cry
, and suddenly — ambush. Wild animal. Civilian in distress.
GTA 6
should bring in these random events across Leonida. Imagine: you're cruising in Grassrivers, and someone runs up needing help escaping a gator. Or a shady roadside deal goes wrong.

That chaos? Pure Rockstar energy.
GTA 6 - NPC Details Leaked!
4. NPC Schedules & Daily Lives (Assassin's Creed: Odyssey)
Ubisoft made their NPCs actually
do stuff
. They go to work, go home, and take breaks. In GTA 5, NPCs had some patterns, but
GTA 6
could take this to a whole new level. Following a corrupt politician from mansion to nightclub to back-alley deal? Yes, please. Make us feel like the city breathes with or without us.
5. Hacking Tools (Watch Dogs 2)
Ubisoft turned phones into power moves. Open a garage door, trigger a car alarm, or drain someone's bank account — all with a click. In
GTA 6
, Jason and Lucia could seriously use some digital chaos.
A Vice City full of hackable ATMs, cameras, and security systems? We're here for it.
Ubisoft doesn't always hit gold, but they've mastered some genius mechanics that would feel right at home in GTA 6's wild and vibrant Leonida. Rockstar's open worlds are already iconic — but steal a little Ubisoft sauce, and we might just get the
perfect
criminal sandbox. Now it's just a matter of waiting for 2026… painfully.

25 years of Refugee - Abhishek Bachchan reveals he was ‘very nervous': 'First days give a lot of butterflies'

They say time flies, yet some experiences and moments are frozen in time. For an actor, it can be his first film, the first interaction with the camera, the first time a filmmaker gave him the chance to showcase his talent. The first an actor tries something new, it gives him butterflies, and that is exactly what Abhishek Bachchan felt on the sets of his debut movie, Refugee. The film has completed 25 years today, and on this special occasion, he reflected back on the years that went by and took a walk down memory lane. 'Hopefully, there's been a fair share of improvement in these 25 years. As an actor, I definitely feel a lot more comfortable than I was when I first started. He added that as an actor, one wants to improve with every movie, and he hopes he was able to do the same. Further, in the same conversation, Abhishek Bachchan opened up about his debut film and said, 'It materialised because JP Dutta (director) saab saw me at an award function and then approached me to do his film.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với sàn môi giới tin cậy IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo According to the actor, it was entirely JP Dutta's call, and he can't be thankful enough for the same. Aamir Khan calls religion a ‘dangerous topic', reveals why he avoids discussing it: ‘It is a very personal thing'

Aamir Khan , who recently made a comeback to the big screen with 'Sitaare Zameen Par', has opened up about his personal beliefs. Known for his thoughtful take on life and films, the 'PK' actor usually stays away from talking about religion in public. But this time, he shared how he sees people beyond their religion and why he respects every faith. 'When I meet people, I don't see their religion. I just see the person," Aamir said in an interview with The Lallantop. He added, 'Religion is such a dangerous topic that I don't often speak about it in public. It is also a very personal thing to each and every individual. I respect people from all religions and the way they follow their religious paths." Deep respect for all beliefs Aamir's words showed just how careful he is when it comes to matters of faith. By saying that religion is a 'very personal thing', he highlighted how important it is for everyone to find their own spiritual path without any interference. His simple way of looking at people — beyond their caste or creed — is something that stands out in today's times. Teachings of Guru Nanak left a mark In this same heartfelt conversation, the '3 Idiots' actor shared how much the teachings of Guru Nanak have touched his life. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo He didn't go into details but made it clear that these lessons have stayed with him. Wants to play Lord Krishna on screen Aamir's love for spiritual stories doesn't just stop there. In the interview, he opened up about his special admiration for Lord Krishna and how deeply the stories from the Bhagavad Gita have moved him. 'It is very difficult to explain the impact that Lord Krishna has had on me. It is a very deep philosophy, whatever his stories teach us, what the Bhagavad Gita tells us about him. He is a very complete person. This is what I feel about him," Aamir shared. H e also revealed that it would be a dream come true for him to play Krishna on screen. 'I do wish to play Lord Krishna on screen. Let's see if that could be possible," he added. His long-standing dream of 'Mahabharat' For years, fans have heard Aamir talk about making a film on the Mahabharata. Every now and then, rumours pop up that he is working on it, but nothing has been confirmed. Still, Aamir has never hidden how close this epic is to his heart. Speaking at the India@2047 Summit hosted by ABP Live, he once again spoke about this big dream. 'Yeh mera sapna hai ke main bana paun Mahabharat, lekin bohot mushkil sapna hai woh… see, Mahabharat will never let you down… but you might let Mahabharat down," he said. Aamir is also winning hearts at the box office. His latest film, 'Sitaare Zameen Par', which released on 20 June 2025, has turned out to be a big hit. This sports drama, directed by R.S. Prasanna, has received glowing reviews from both critics and the public. In just ten days, it has crossed the Rs 120 crore mark. Aamir Khan Reveals He Tried To Kill Himself After Divorce
