Coronation Street viewers believe they've figured out who will rescue Todd Grimshaw from Theo Silverton, and it's a beloved former resident of the cobbles.
This year on the soap, Todd (played by Gareth Pierce) began a romantic relationship with newcomer Theo (portrayed by James Cartwright). However, it was later disclosed that Theo is actually married to Danielle (Natalie Anderson) and is a father to Millie (Kaitlyn Earley) and Miles (Lewis William Magee).
In a heartbreaking twist, Theo confided in Todd about his past, revealing he had been forced to undergo conversion therapy due to his hidden sexuality.
The truth about Theo and Todd's relationship was exposed when Danielle caught them in a passionate embrace. Since then, Theo and Todd have continued their affair, but it hasn't been an easy journey for the couple.
The pair started dating this year
Recently, Theo's teenage daughter Millie concocted a pregnancy hoax in a bid to lure her father back home. When Todd discovered the truth, he insisted she confess to everyone, reports Leicestershire Live.

However, Millie craftily spun another lie, telling her father that Todd had forced her to have an abortion - a claim that Theo eventually discovered to be false.
Angered by Theo's initial lack of trust, Todd ended up drowning his sorrows with James Bailey (Jason Callender). James attempted to make a pass at Todd, who rejected him just as Theo walked in.
Theo showed his dark side recently
Todd found reassurance from Theo, who made it clear he had no interest in James – a sentiment that left Theo chuckling about the day's tumultuous events. Theo then struck a deal with Todd, promising to keep Millie at bay if Todd stayed away from James.
However, the situation escalated when Theo later confronted James with a stark warning: back off Todd or face more than just verbal threats.
Amidst fan theories of an impending grim storyline where Theo might harm Todd, some viewers are convinced a figure from Todd's past could emerge as his saviour.
Fans have 'worked out' who saves Todd
Discussions on a Coronation Street Facebook fan group have been rife, with one user expressing their dislike for Theo. The conversation quickly turned to speculation about Todd's ex, Karl Foster (portrayed by Chris Finch), making a dramatic return to rescue him.
Comments included: "Remember Karl Foster? He needs to come back, he was def Todd's one that got away."
Others reminisced, with one saying: "Aww yeah I remember him". Calls for Karl's return were echoed by another fan: "That'd be so good! He could save Todd from Theo."
Another chimed in with support: "Yeah he could be the one."
Long-time fans will remember Karl's introduction in 2003 as a nurse at Weatherfield General and his subsequent relationship with Todd (then played by Bruno Langley), who was romantically involved with Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) at the time. Karl's departure in 2004 led to a petition for his comeback, which garnered numerous signatures.

LOVE Island fans say they have worked out the "real reason" Dejon flirted with bombshell Bilikis, claiming he has a "game plan". Tonight viewers watched the stunning new Islander go on a date with Dejon before entering the villa. 6 Love Island fans think Dejon had a 'game plan' for his date with Bilikis Credit: ITV 6 It came as Dejon was seen flirting with the stunning bombshell Credit: ITV 6 Dejon is coupled up with Meg and they haven't have had the smoothest time so far Credit: Eroteme 6 Meg has cried a number of times over Dejon Credit: ITV During their date, Dejon - who has been coupled up with Meg since the start - flirted up a storm with the beautiful new arrival. He was even heard asking Bilikis , who also goes by Billykiss, if she would leave Dublin and "move to London" if they were to be together. But fans weren't buying it, and didn't think he was being genuine - in fact they even suggested he had a "game plan". The viewer theory that hit social media was that Dejon was flirting with Bilikis to get to Meg. Taking to X/Twitter one fan said: "Fear Dejon is just gonna lead Billykiss to wind up Meg." While another added: "I think Dejon's game plan is to wind up Meg." This one vented: "I hope Dejon isn't using Billykiss to get to Meg." Before going in the villa, Bilikis was asked who she was interested in, and she said: "Dejon and Conor. I'm here to bombshell so you've got to do what you've got to do." When quizzed on what she looks for in a man, she said: "Someone tall who's good looking but not too good looking and that's confident, assertive, knows what they want and is serious about me." Dejon and Meg are one of the most solid couples in the villa, but Meg has shed a fair few tears over semi-pro footballer Dejon. Love Island villa rocked as two hot new bombshells make surprise entrance This included him making moves on bombshell Malisha, before she was dumped from the show. Meanwhile, Sun revealed earlier today that two brand new bombshells would join the show tonight. A source said: 'The Islanders have been crying out for some bombshells with so many of them currently single. 'It's only really Meg and Dejon who are in any way settled which is bonkers at this stage of the game. 'The villa is a bombshells paradise right now and it's everything to play for.' The other bombshell to enter the villa tonight was gym hunk Ryan Bannister. Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. 6 Bilikis is the latest bombshell to enter Love Island

Raging Love Island fans hit out at ‘gaslighter' Harry and call for him to be axed from the villa for ‘lying' to Shakira
LOVE Island fans have been left fuming at 'gaslighter' Harry and called for him to be axed from the villa. Viewers weren't impressed by Harry's conversation with his villa partner Shakira. 4 Love Island fans were left unimpressed with Harry following a chat with Shakira Credit: ITV 4 He hid key details of the saucy Heart Rate Challenge from his villa partner Credit: ITV 4 Furious fans claimed he "gaslit" Shakira Credit: ITV During the steamy Heart Rate challenge, it turned out fellow Islander Helena's routine got Harry's heart racing more than any other girl. In the saucy challenge Helena made her desire for him clear when she whispered in Harry's ear: "I want to f*** you." He immediately told Tommy to pass it on to the boys afterwards, and Dejon was left open-mouthed. During his go, Harry whispered "do you still want to f*** me?" in Helena's ear. However, when discussing the results with Shakira afterwards, Harry neglected to tell her what had happened. Fans were left unimpressed, as one wrote: "Shakira deserves so much better than Harry, casa amor please save her asap." Another added: "they all gaslight shakira??? how is helena saying it's not deep knowing what her and harry whispered to each other??????" A third wrote: "Harry mugging off shakira." While a fourth remarked: "shakira now we can dump harry you've given him enough chances." Harry and Helena struck up a connection early on, however, the playboy couldn't help but keep his options open and things fizzled out as quickly as they started. Watch the moment Shakira kicks off furious new Love Island feud with Helena - and two bombshells enter the villa Having switched his attention to Shakira, after a snog-filled terrace trip with Yasmin, Helena was reluctant to be friends with him. But her stint in the second villa for the Sleepover, which saw the arrival of four bombshells, made her realise she still had feelings for Harry. It comes as viewers predicted Shakira could couple up with another villa boy. She shared a steamy smooch with Irish rugby player Conor during a challenge called Snog, Marry, Pie. Islanders had to kiss who they fancied the most, propose and marry the Islander they most thought of as marriage material, and pie the Islander who they didn't fancy or had any previous issues with. Since the pair shared a steamy smooch and Conor declared Shakira as the "fittest girl in the villa", fans have predicted their blossoming romance. One person wrote: "Conor and Shakira? I could see that." Another said: "Anyone else think shakira and Conor might couple up at some point or is that a stretch?" While a third wrote: "Hear me out… shakira and Conor," Love Island airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
