Aaron Rodgers' Malibu workout photo with several Steelers goes viral

USA Today13 hours ago
Aaron Rodgers has been making up for lost time — training and building chemistry with several of the Steelers' talented pass catchers in Malibu.
In rare Rodgers fashion, the Steelers QB took to Instagram and posted a group photo from their summer workout — which has since gone viral and can be seen below:
DK Metcalf previously confirmed there would be a California workout taking place with Rodgers, but it's awesome to see wide receivers Scotty Miller, Ben Skowronek, Calvin Austin III, Roman Wilson, and tight end Pat Freiermuth make the trip as well.
Missing from the Malibu-based workout was none other than newly acquired Pro Bowl TE Jonnu Smith — who has taken to social media to post a hype video for his upcoming Steelers season.
The Steelers offense is shaping up to be an exciting unit to watch in 2025, but one can't help but wonder if there's still a move or two Pittsburgh can make before the season begins.

Madison LeCroy on her excitement over becoming a girl mom after giving birth

Madison LeCroy is a (southern) mom of two. The reality star, 34, who welcomed her second child, daughter Teddi, with husband Brett Randle on Sunday, June 29, opened up about becoming a girl mom for the first time. LeCroy also shares son, Hudson, 12, with her ex-husband, Josh Hughes. 8 Madison LeCroy poses with son Hudson and daughter Teddi. Madison LeCroy 'I would say, obviously, I've experienced the boy mom and it's a true thing, so I'm super excited to be a girl mom for the first time,' she exclusively told The Post on Wednesday, just three days after giving birth. 'Everything's pink and girly. I'm already just having such a blast,' LeCroy gushed. 'So I know it's just going to get better each day. I didn't think I was going to get both, to be honest. So I'm very lucky to be able to experience it.' 8 Madison LeCroy with her husband Brett before giving birth. Madison LeCroy Hudson, meanwhile, couldn't be happier to welcome a little sibling into their family. 'Honestly, at first I was a little worried he was going to be jealous,' LeCroy confessed. 'But, of course, he's just taken on the role where he's almost a little bit more protective than me already. So I am happy to see it. And I know he's going to be the best big brother ever. She's very lucky to have him.' Through it all, the 'Southern Charm' star has Randle, whom she tied the knot with in 2022, by her side. 'Not that he ever told me 'no' anyways, but he's definitely not told me 'no' in the past eight or nine months,' she shared. 'Anything I want or we need, he's on top of it. He's been being there for me and doing things without me even having to ask. I know I picked the right one when you end up expecting a child with them and you realize how it's going to be. I definitely feel like I hit the lottery with that.' 8 Brett Randle holds his newborn daughter. Madison LeCroy LeCroy underwent a C-section at 34 weeks, but despite going into labor early, she was ready to enter the hospital at any moment. 'I had full glam, so I made sure to have a blowout and I made sure to have light, fresh face of makeup, just for pictures' sake,' she recalled. 'I definitely think that for me, good hair and good makeup is all I can do for now.' LeCroy also touched on the best piece of motherhood advice she's received, and it came from someone very special to her: her late father Ted LeCroy, who died in 2023. 8 Madison LeCroy poses with her baby bump. Madison Lecroy/Instagram 'Just have grace for yourself,' LeCroy stated. 'Obviously, when it comes to your children, let them be individually who they are going to be and don't try to live through them too much. My dad would always say, 'Don't kill their spirit.' Whether that means they're a little unhinged or not just let them be who they're going to be. I'm definitely going to take that into consideration.' Fans can expect to see the former hairstylist step into her new role as mom-of-two on the next season of 'Southern Charm.' As for who from the cast was supportive throughout LeCroy's pregnancy, the influencer shouted out her close besties. 8 Madison LeCroy shows off her baby bump. Madison Lecroy/Instagram 'The girls have always been there for me,' she expressed. 'So I would say Venita [Aspen] has always been there. Rodrigo [Reyes] and Salley [Carson], of course. So everyone's been pretty, pretty great.' On Thursday, LeCroy opened up about her birth experience while talking to US Weekly. 'I was in labor for 48 hours basically [because] my water broke at home,' she recounted. 8 Madison LeCroy with her husband and son. Instagram LeCroy added that she began going into labor at 2:30 a.m. after being out at a concert for her mom's birthday. At the time, Randle, who is a firefighter, was at work in California. 'I ran upstairs, and I was like, 'Mom, I don't have anything packed,'' LeCroy said. 'It was funny 'cause me and her both were like in my closet trying to pick out what we were gonna wear to the hospital.' 'We kind of prolonged the labor, and Brett got here and then we waited another day and had the C-section, and there she was five minutes later.' 8 Madison LeCroy. Madison Lecroy/Instagram LeCroy had the perfect song for Teddi to make her entrance into the world. 'My doctor, she's amazing. And at this point she was, like, a friend, and we were sitting there talking and we were like, 'What [is[the playlist gonna be for this?'' she detailed. 'And we were joking around, we're like, 'Girl power, let's go Taylor Swift.' So we did, we rocked out to Taylor Swift during the surgery.' LeCroy elaborated, 'So that's what she was born to. Now don't ask me what song, because at that point I don't have no idea. But yeah, girl mode all the way.' 8 Madison LeCroy and Brett Randle. Madison LeCroy/Instagram Teddi — who is named after LeCroy's late father — ended up spending a 'few days' in the NICU due to 'protocol' for babies who are born early. 'She's a little. She's only five pounds, but she's breathing on her own and hasn't needed any oxygen or anything like that. She's kind of a little trooper,' LeCroy revealed. '[Doctors] were shocked with how early she was that she was gonna be this independent. So I was like, 'Oh, I wasn't shocked at all.''

Michael Madsen tributes: Virginia Madsen says late brother had a 'ferocious heart'

Michael Madsen may have been rough around the edges on the big screen, but he was a pure diamond to those who knew him best. The beloved actor, best known for his tough guy characters in films such as "Reservoir Dogs" and the "Kill Bill" movies, died on July 3 of cardiac arrest, manager Ron Smith confirmed to USA TODAY. He was 67. Madsen's sister, fellow actor Virginia Madsen, paid tribute to her late brother in a heartfelt post on Instagram, which featured a black-and-white throwback photo of the sibling pair alongside their mother Elaine Madsen. "My brother Michael has left the stage," Virginia, 63, wrote. "He was thunder and velvet. Mischief wrapped in tenderness. A poet disguised as an outlaw. A father, a son, a brother — etched in contradiction, tempered by love that left its mark." In the 1990s, Virginia and Michael appeared together in the films "Blue Tiger" (1994), "The Florentine" (1999) and "Ballad of the Nightingale" (1999). "We're not mourning a public figure. We're not mourning a myth — but flesh and blood and ferocious heart," Virginia continued, "who stormed through life loud, brilliant, and half on fire. Who leaves us echoes — gruff, brilliant, unrepeatable — half legend, half lullaby." Virginia added that she will miss the "inside jokes" she shared with her elder sibling, as well as "the boy he was before the legend." "In time, we'll share how we plan to celebrate his life," she concluded. "But for now — we stay close, and let the silence say what words can't." Former costars Vivica A. Fox, Harvey Keitel remember 'poet' Michael Madsen Actress Vivica A. Fox, who costarred with Madsen in the films "Kill Bill Volume 1," "Kill Bill Volume 2" and "Garlic & Gunpowder," reflected on the "pleasure" of collaborating with Madsen in a statement to USA TODAY. "Michael was a talented man with an AMAZING onscreen presence!" Fox said. "My deepest condolences (and) prayers to his family." "Reservoir Dogs" star Harvey Keitel, who played Larry Dimmick opposite Madsen's Vic "Toothpick" Vega, reminisced on working with the actor on the 1992 Quentin Tarantino flick. "We've lost another great American poet," Keitel said in a statement to The New York Post. "I'll never forget one of the best scenes I've ever seen on film — of (Michael) and Chris Penn fighting in 'Reservoir Dogs.' A great love scene." James Woods, Robert Rodriguez pay tribute to 'larger than life' Michael Madsen Actor James Woods, who appeared alongside Madsen in the films "The Getaway" and "Straight Talk," mourned the actor's death in an emotional post on X. "Oh man, this is a hard one," Woods said. "I was always touched by his sweet nature and generosity, the absolute opposite of the 'tough guys' he portrayed so brilliantly. Rest in peace, dear friend." Director Robert Rodriguez fondly recalled his collaboration with Madsen on the 2005 film "Sin City," sharing that he allowed the actor to improvise dialogue on the comic book adaptation because of his writing prowess and comedic flair. "Michael was so larger than life," Rodriguez wrote in an X post. "We just felt he would make a much better partner to Bruce Willis' detective, I mean, what an ultimate cop team! And he was just an absolute joy to work with. I will miss you Michael, you truly are one of the greats." Billy Baldwin, more laud 'dynamite' Michael Madsen William "Billy" Baldwin, who worked with Madsen on films such as "The Broken Key," "2 Graves in the Desert" and "South of Hope Street," paid tribute to his former costar's charisma in an X post. "Fitting that Michael Madsen would pass away on 4th of July weekend," Baldwin reflected. "He was no firecracker… a total stick of dynamite on screen and in life." "Michael Madsen has departed," Titus Welliver wrote on X. "Mike leaves behind a body of work that will never be forgotten. Rest brother, too young." "Michael Madsen was a dream to work with," wrote Rob Schneider on X. Schneider worked with Madsen on an episode of his sitcom "Real Rob." "A truly gifted actor (and) gentleman who made every person on the set comfortable; generous with his stories (and) with his infectious laughter. I only wish we could have done more things together in this crazy business." Contributing: Anna Kaufman, USA TODAY

Michael Madsen 'struggled to maintain his sobriety' before death

Michael Madsen was reportedly struggling with alcohol addiction before his death. The 67-year-old actor was pronounced dead on Thursday (03.07.25) after being found unresponsive at his Malibu home, with his manager Ron Smith telling that 'cardiac arrest' appeared to be the cause of death. And, Michael's lawyer Perry Wander, who represented him for 20 years, said the Kill Bill actor had 'struggled to maintain his sobriety'. He told 'I just spoke to Michael two days ago. I knew he was not well.' 'Michael was suffering from the effects of alcoholism. He had multiple stints in and out of rehab. He struggled to maintain his sobriety. He was not happy about his life.' The lawyer also claimed that Michael was locked in a legal battle with his estranged wife over child support and other finances. He said: 'I blame her for putting in the screws over his last years of life. Michael lived a life of regrets - those regrets being his two marriages.' He added that the legal battle caused his passport to be 'maliciously revoked', which impacted his ability to travel and work abroad. Michael suffered a devastating loss in 2022 when his son Hudson took his own life at the age of 26. The star is survived by his five other children, Jessica who he shared with Dana Mechling, Christian and Max, whose mother is Jeannine Bisignano and Luke and Kalvin, whose mom is Madsen's wife DeAnna Morgan. Madsen was married to Georganne LaPiere, half-sister of Cher from 1984 to 1988. He went on to marry Bisignano from 1991 to 1995 before tying the knot with DeAnna in 1996 and welcoming Luke, Kalvin and Hudson together. The relationship had its ups and downs, and his death comes just 11 months after his domestic violence case - where he was accused of shoving DeAnna - was dismissed due to 'insufficient evidence'. Madsen was best known for his work with director Quentin Tarantino, including classics such as 1992's in Reservoir Dogs, 2004's Kill Bill: Volume 2, 2015's The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which was released in 2019.
