Earlier tonight, on the June 13 episode of SmackDown, the 53-year-old veteran assaulted the Undisputed Champion on two occasions. R-Truth has earned a lot from his career in wrestling, which started in the late 90s. Here is a look at his net worth and sources of income
What is R-Truth's net worth?
R-Truth is a respected name in the pro-wrestling business, who has rubbed shoulders with the likes of The Rock and The Miz. According to a Times of India report, he has a net worth of $3 million. A large chunk of this comes from his work for the WWE. He used to earn $550,000/year under his old contract. However, he recently signed a new deal with the promotion. Its terms are said to be 'different' from the earlier one.
R-Truth also earns money from royalties, merchandise sales and his appearance in WWE 2k25. He also has a clothing line that adds to his wealth.
R-Truth is currently feuding with John Cena
Earlier this month, Truth announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) that his contract with the WWE would not be renewed. This sparked outrage on social media as fans slammed the company and the higher ups for letting him go. Amid this, Truth returned to WWE programming at Money in the Bank and nailed John Cena with a spear and the title belt. This gave Cody Rhodes the chance to hit Cena with Cross Rhodes and get the win. His actions were his way of punishing Cena for humiliating him at Saturday Night's Main Event. Truth will now take on 'The Franchise Player' on the Blue Brand next week.

Heads of State movie review: John Cena-Idris Elba-Priyanka Chopra Jonas' action comedy is predictable but entertaining

Heads of State is a fun film which works because of its high entertainment quotient. read more Star cast: John Cena, Idris Elba, Priyanka Chopra, Jack Quaid, Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, and Carla Gugino Director: Ilya Naishuller After impressing the audience with Hardcore Henry and Nobody, filmmaker and musician Ilya Viktorovich Naishuller is now gearing up to take cinegoers on an adrenaline rush with his upcoming action comedy Heads Of State. While the movie's promo looked fun, let's see whether it turns out to be an entertaining affair or not… STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Heads of State starts with a senior MI6 agent, Noel Bisset (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) and his team, along with the CIA, doing a covert operation at Bunol, Spain, during the Tomatino festival to hunt down Viktor Gradov (Paddy Considine), an arms dealer turned extremist. However, Viktor, along with his henchmen, who had set a trap for the officers, hunts them as his tech genius, Arthur Hammond (Stephen Root), infiltrates the echelon, the high-tech political secret system of the USA. Cut to the actor-turned-American President Will Derringer (John Cena) and UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke (Idris Elba), who are not fond of each other, meeting at the Oval Office and taking potshots at one another. Their assistants convince them to travel together to the NATO Summit, as it will make the biggest headlines in global newspapers. However, their aeroplane gets attacked by Viktor's henchmen, and while the plane crashes, the duo manages to survive. As Sam and Will need to reach the summit, they need to find the motive behind their assassination and the conspiracy which can impact the global system. Well, honestly, Head of State reminds me of old-style Bollywood movies when it comes to plot, but scores high on the visual presentation, along with action choreography and crisp editing by Tom Harrison-Read. Ilya has handled a generic plot quite well to make it entertaining with some eye-grabbing highlights and made sure people enjoy the onscreen camaraderie between the lead characters. However, the romantic angle between Idris and PeeCee seems to be forced or rather unnecessary, in the movie. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Talking about the performances, John, Elba, and Priyanka seem to have fun with their parts with their witty dialogues and performing kickass action. Paddy, as Viktor, is decent but lacks the punch as the antagonist. Jack Quaid literally won the heart with his superb comic timing as Agent Comer. On the whole, Heads of State is a fun film which works because of its high entertainment quotient. Rating: 3 (out of 5 stars) Heads of State is releasing on 2nd July

CM Punk Appears As 'Dr. Of Thuganomics'; Parodies John Cena With 'Punkanomics' Rap: WATCH

Last Updated: CM Punk retaliated against John Cena on Friday Night SmackDown by mimicking Cena's old-school "Doctor of Thuganomics" gimmick. CM Punk decided to go bar-for-bar with John Cena on Friday Night SmackDown tonight, in classic 'Thuganomics' fashion, as retaliation for the reverse-pipebomb gimmick from last week. It was just a week ago when Cena slammed Punk through a table and delivered a scathing promo that parodied Punk's iconic 2011 'pipe bomb"—the very one delivered after Cena himself had been put through a table following a match with R-Truth. Well, it's always an eye for an eye with CM Punk, who responded in kind by copying Cena's 'Doctor of Thuganomics" gimmick on this week's go-home episode of SmackDown in Saudi Arabia. 👊 PunkLife 👊THIS IS BASIC PUNKANOMICS! 🔥 — WWE (@WWE) June 28, 2025 After Cena made his usual entrance, his old Basic Thuganomics entrance music played, and out came CM Punk. Punk was dressed similar to how Cena would dress as the Dr of Thuganomics about 20 years ago, and grabbed a mic on his way into the ring. Punk then proceeded to cut a promo on Cena in the form of a rap. Punk's rap took shots at Cena moving in slow motion, burying more wrestlers than The Undertaker, fixing his bald spot, and somehow being more problematic than Hulk Hogan. He said I'm a problem, he called me a player hater, let's be honest, John Cena's buried more talent than the Undertaker. That's why he's the champ and went and lost all his respects, but John I get it, I'd retire too if this place rehired my ex. If you never said your prayers, ate your vitamins or fixed your bald spot, you wouldn't be a pro wrestler, you'd be a Boston Mall Cop. But hey, he gets good movie roles that much is a fact, and then you see Batista act and you realise John ain't that. Same shirt, same hat, man, your persona stayed tragic. You're like a fish bellied white Hulk Hogan but somehow more problematic. . @CMPunk just left @JohnCena speechless… 👀 — WWE (@WWE) June 28, 2025 For someone who started off the night with boos after issuing an apology during the WWE Night of Champions Kickoff show for his tweet years ago about Saudi Arabia, Punk surely ended the night well, with the crowds singing ' Cult of Personality' in unison as he left.
