KUCHING (July 21): A total of 11 motorcycles were seized and 65 summonses issued during the 'Ops Samseng Jalanan' integrated operation conducted last Saturday at Jalan Tun Abdul Rahman Yaakob, Jalan Astana, and Masja in Petra Jaya.
Kuching district police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said the operation aimed to crackdown on road bullies and ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
'During the operation, 11 motorcycles were seized under Section 60 of the Road Transport Act 1987, as they were found to have been modified from their original structure and will undergo further inspection,' he said in a statement today.
