Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, television's grand historical epic, continues to captivate audiences with tremendous storytelling, grand visuals, and strong performances.
The show recounts the extraordinary journey of one of India's most legendary monarchs. The show recently witnessed a historic moment: King Someshwar's Rajya Abhishek.
Ronit Roy
exclusively detailed the track with Times Of India TV. Here's what he shared:
Ronit quipped, "We know that the elder brother of King Abhijit Nair has passed away, and he's crowned Someshwar, the next king. And, of course, the king's son wanted to be crowned.
That's why he killed his father. And that didn't happen. So, the mother, of course, is in cohorts with him, and she wants the son to ascend the throne."
He shared details about the upcoming track, "The further drama is that. Now, what will happen? So, in the process, Someshwar is training his son
Prithviraj
to become a warrior, not to become a king. To become a good ruler and, you know, become a good human being. And, of course, there is always the imminent danger of the Gurids attacking.
So, all the drama is being played out over the next week or so."
When asked about playing a king on TV, what makes Historical drama different from the daily soap, "So, I mean, it's like playing any other character. It's not much different. And, of course, you know, you feel different because you are wearing clothes that you would not normally wear on a regular day. So, that's the difference. The look is different. The setting is different. But apart from that, playing this character or playing any other character, there is not much difference in terms of building a character.

Exclusive - Vaidehi Nair on quitting Jaadu Teri Nazar; says ‘There was nothing left for me to do in the show'

Actress Vaidehi Nair has officially confirmed her exit from the TV show Jaadu Teri Nazar, where she played the character of Sandhya. In an exclusive interview with Times of India TV, the young actress opened up about the reasons behind her decision to quit the show, citing lack of character development as the key factor. 'The reason I left the show was because the character that was told to me never got built up,' she shared candidly. 'I've been working since the age of 12. I'm 18 now, and although I've played parallel leads before, I've never worked in a role where there was just nothing for me to do. I did not feel good about it.' Vaidehi clarified that her exit was not due to any issues with the team. 'The production and direction teams were very good and supportive. But sometimes, maybe due to TRPs or storyline changes, characters don't get developed as expected.' Talking about her role, she said, 'I was playing Sandhya, the sister of the lead. Her character was very restricted. That was the mindset of her family. But beyond that, there was no depth or direction to her story.' She further added, 'I was working 26–27 days a month, and still, the story I was narrated was never explored. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Esta pastilla olvidada limpia las venas a un ritmo impresionante NEWSCASA Undo I genuinely wanted to do something that allowed me to showcase my talent, so I had to take this step.'
