She shared that the distribution of the Ganga Jal containers and jute bags will begin on Monday. The chief minister said this step will encourage environmental responsibility and help keep Delhi clean and green.
She said Delhi govt received suggestions to increase the funds given to kanwar committees, and this is now being implemented. "Delhi govt is fully committed to supporting kanwariyas in every possible way," she said.
During her visit, Gupta interacted with camp committee members and devotees to understand their needs. She offered prayers at the camps and took blessings from the priests. Calling the kanwar yatra not just a religious journey but a festival, the CM said welcoming kanwariyas passing through or arriving in Delhi is a way to respect their devotion.

She said that this year, Delhi has seen a festive atmosphere during the holy month of Sawan "like never before," with ministers, MLAs and govt officials ensuring that preparations in advance for the smooth operations of camps. Gupta said that 374 kanwar committees got financial assistance. Camps have been equipped with electricity, healthcare facilities, toilets, sanitation staff and welcome gates on Delhi's borders.
For the first time, 374 kanwar camps have been established across Delhi, she said. She said under the previous govt, only 170 camps were set up and many of them faced allegations of mismanagement.
Minister Kapil Mishra earlier said that in Delhi, about 2.5-3 crore people participate in the kanwar yatra. Grand preparations have been made to welcome them, he said. "This time, on the instructions of the chief minister, financial aid will be directly deposited into the accounts of the kanwar committees," he said, adding that there will also be arrangements for water and barricading.

HC seeks suggestions for improving traffic management in Indore
Indore: The Indore bench of MP High Court on Tuesday asked local administration to make efforts to improve city's traffic management, similar to the success achieved in the cleanliness campaign. The court sought written suggestions from the state and local bodies to this effect. Justice Vivek Rusia and Justice Binod Kumar Dwivedi made these observations during hearing on a PIL filed by NGO Rajlakshmi Foundation through senior advocate Ajay Bagadia. The PIL raised concerns over uncontrolled traffic rule violations, lack of parking, narrow left turns, and encroachment on roads. Mayor and senior advocate Pushyamitra Bhargava, who was also present as amicus curiae before the court, stated, "The PIL, filed in 2019, sought improvement in Indore's traffic management. Honourable judges have said that as Indore can become the number one city in cleanliness, why not inculcate such behavioural changes to improve traffic. Bhargava informed the court that Indore has 32.95 lakh registered vehicles and around 21.55 lakh active vehicles on the road. "We assume that Indore has a population of around 22 to 33 lakh. Around 3 lakh is the migrating population," he said. To this, the court said that purchasing new vehicles can't be controlled, but old vehicles should be discarded by fixing a period of 10-15 years, like in Delhi, as they stopped giving fuel to vehicles crossing the age limit. The court was informed that the old vehicles banned in Delhi were being sold to other states, including MP. The court was also informed about a DPS school bus, which claimed lives of seven children in a road accident, was brought from Delhi after it was discarded there. In the hearing, the court was informed about the efforts and actions being taken by different departments concerned to improve traffic management in Indore.

Edu dept to deploy ‘prabodhak' teachers at anganwadi centres
Jaipur: The state education department has decided to deploy teachers as 'prabodhak' to teach children in anganwadi centres to strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy in children. In the state, around 15,000 anganwadi centres are operational from schools with over five teachers. In such schools, the department has ordered that L1 or L2 level teachers, who are qualified to teach primary sections, should be deployed to teach children aged 5-6 years in anganwadi centres. "We already have mentor teachers for anganwadi centres operating along with schools, but now we are enforcing that these teachers must teach mandatorily three to four days a week. They will teach from the age-wise books prepared by Integrated Child Development Services as part of Early Childhood Care and Education, along with taking assessments mentioned in the books," said Krishna Kunal, secretary for school education. Officials said that this move has been initiated to ensure the conversion of children from attending anganwadi centres to enrolling in schools for formal education. CET aspirants to get shuttle service to reach test centres in Gurgaon
Gurgaon: The district administration has arranged transport facilities for candidates appearing in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group C positions by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission on July 26-27. Shuttle services will operate from multiple points, including Laser Valley parking in Sector 29 and Tau Devi Lal stadium. The district has set up 145 exam centres to accommodate 36,372 candidates per session across four sessions. Candidates from districts like Rohtak, Rewari, and Sonipat will take the CET exam in the district. Deputy commissioner, Gurgaon, Ajay Kumar, said, "Shuttle services have been arranged to ensure aspirants reach the exam centres on time."
