Renault India has released the first teaser for the Triber, which is all set to launch tomorrow in the Indian market. The Triber is the most affordable MPV in the Indian market, and it is expected that this case will stay the same even after the facelift. This will be the first major update that the vehicle will get since it was introduced back in 2019.
Along with the Triber facelift's teaser, the brand has unveiled the new logo that will be used on all of its upcoming vehicles, including the Triber. The new logo does look smart and modern when compared to the current one. It should add a hint of freshness to the upcoming vehicles.
A look at the new logo of Renault. It will first debut on the Triber. Renault Triber Facelift: Exterior Design
Recent spy images hint at notable changes to the updated Renault Triber's exterior. The upcoming model is expected to sport refreshed LED Daytime Running Lights, while the main headlight units might receive a subtle redesign. The front bumper is likely to be revamped with larger air intakes and repositioned fog lamps. Along the sides, the facelifted Triber will likely feature new alloy wheel designs. At the rear, expect a revised bumper and a sleeker, reworked tail lamp setup. Renault Triber Facelift: Cabin and Features
Inside the cabin, Renault is likely to retain the familiar layout seen on the existing model, but with a few enhancements. These could include updated seat upholstery and slight changes to the dashboard styling.
Renault may also introduce new features in the facelift, such as ambient cabin lighting, a revised digital instrument cluster, an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM), a 360-degree camera, cooled glovebox, and automatic headlamps—making the MPV more premium and competitive.

While there has been speculation about a more powerful 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine joining the lineup—offering 100 hp and 160 Nm of torque with manual and CVT options—Renault has not confirmed this for the facelifted model.

Why did Donald Trump warn tech giants like Google and Microsoft against hiring Indians?

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday lashed out at major American technology companies for outsourcing manufacturing to China and employing workers in countries like India. US President Donald Trump gestures during an event in Washington DC, July 23, 2025(REUTERS) Speaking at the AI Summit in Washington, Trump declared that such practices would no longer be tolerated under his administration. 'Many of our largest tech companies have reaped the blessings of American freedom while building their factories in China, hiring workers in India and slashing profits in Ireland, you know that,' Donald Trump said. 'All the while dismissing and even censoring their fellow citizens right here at home. Under President Trump, those days are over.' The remarks came as the President signed three executive orders aimed at boosting the US artificial intelligence (AI) sector. Among these was a sweeping White House action plan titled the America's AI action plan, designed to secure US leadership in global AI development. 'America first' strategy Trump urged technology giants like Google and Microsoft that are based in US to adopt a more patriotic approach to their operations, aligning with what he described as national interests. 'We need US technology companies to be all in for America. We want you to put America first. You have to do that. That's all we ask,' news agency PTI quoted Trump as saying. He further called for 'a new spirit of patriotism and national loyalty in Silicon Valley and long beyond Silicon Valley.' Framing AI development as essential to economic and military supremacy, Trump declared: 'America is the country that started the AI race, and as president of the United States, I'm here today to declare that America is going to win it.' He added, 'Winning this competition will be a test of our capacities unlike anything since the dawn of the space age.' Trump's recent comments criticising American tech companies for outsourcing jobs and hiring foreign workers have sparked concern among the global tech community, particularly in countries like India. While no formal policy changes have been announced as of now, industry experts say the President's remarks could influence the hiring decisions of major tech firms that depend on skilled talent from India. Indian professionals working in areas such as software development, data science, and artificial intelligence in the US may now face growing uncertainty.

India flexible on Chinese investments in electronics: Govt source

New Delhi, Jul 25 (PTI) India is flexible for collaboration of domestic companies with Chinese, especially electronics, a government source said on Friday. Around 60 per cent of electronics manufacturing happens in China, and hence, it is not easy to ignore it, the source added. 'Things are easing (between India and China). There are signals. Tourist visas have been opened. In electronics, 60 per cent of manufacturing takes place in China. So, there has to be some sort of collaboration," the sources said. He was replying to a question on government approval for the Dixon joint venture with Chinese companies. Dixon Technologies has received approval from the Indian government to form a joint venture (JV) with Chinese peer Longcheer. Dixon has been reaching out to several Chinese companies for joint ventures. It has signed separate agreements with Chinese electronic component firms — Chongqing Yuhai Precision Manufacturing Co Ltd and the Indian arm of Kunshan Q Technology — for manufacturing and sales of electronic components used in electronic devices like mobile phones and laptops, among others.
