Logies 2025: MAFS, The Block, MKR and more stars not invited in major snub
Despite being some of the most recognisable faces on Australian TV and delivering enormous ratings for their respective shows, a large majority of reality TV participants have been snubbed. Here's which of your favourite reality stars you can expect to see on the red carpet next Sunday, and who will be watching from home.
Married At First Sight
While it was a guarantee in previous years that Married At First Sight participants would be in attendance, Jamie Marinos tells Yahoo Lifestyle that no one from this season's cast has received an invite.
'To be honest, I felt like there was all this talk that we were gonna get invited, but I just didn't trust it, so I actually booked a trip to Europe and I'm doing my own kind of publicity tour in London,' she shares.

'None of us were bloody invited. That's sad for everyone else at the Logies, because we know how to turn up at any kind of dinner party event. It's a shame because I know the rest of the cast probably would have been looking forward to it too. I would have loved to have gone to the Logies with everyone.'
It's understood that relationship experts John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla will be in attendance to represent the show, which is what they did last year after the season 11 cast was also snubbed.
The Block
Similarly to MAFS, the teams from last year's milestone twentieth season of The Block also missed out on an invite, with Scott Cam, Shelley Craft, and the show's judges expected to attend in their place
'Unfortunately, we haven't received an invite to the Logies,' Ricky Recard tells us. 'If The Block bosses and Channel 9 can fit us on their invite list, I'm sure they will. With so many amazing people involved in the show, from Julian Cress, Scotty Cam, Shelley Craft and too many more for me to mention, it must be so hard to invite everyone along to such a special night.'
Despite the 'snub', Ricky says he feels 'privileged' and 'incredibly grateful' to have been a part of the series, and he will be cheering the team on from home.
'I have no doubt the team will bring home the Logie for Best Competition Reality Program, and if they do, to be part of that I'll always hold close to my heart. I love my Block family,' he remarks.
The Real Housewives of Sydney
This year marks the first time The Real Housewives of Sydney have been nominated for the Logies; however, Victoria Montano tells us that none of the cast members have been invited.
'My understanding is that when the news broke, a few cast members contacted production to ask who was going to attend the Logies. I didn't contact production at all when the news broke - I was under no misconceptions about the fact they would prioritise themselves over the stars of the show. The ladies, who for almost no pay at all, open their lives to the public so that production can make money from our lives,' she shares.
My Kitchen Rules
Yahoo Lifestyle understands that none of the teams from the recent season of My Kitchen Rules have been asked to attend the Logies, and judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge will instead represent the series on the red carpet. This doesn't bother 2024 champion Simone Preste at all, as he will be busy working on his new business venture.
'We won't be able to attend the event as we'll be opening our second restaurant location at Westfield Chermside next week,' he tells us. 'But with all my heart, I hope MKR takes home the award, fingers crossed!'
MasterChef
MasterChef judges Poh Ling Yeow and Sofia Levin will definitely be in attendance as they are both first-time nominees, with Poh up for the Gold Logie and Sofia up for Most Popular New Talent. Previous years have seen the show's most recent winner and runner-up in attendance; however, Josh 'Pezza' Perry says he hasn't been contacted.
'I hope they do well at the Logies. It was a great show to be a part of, but I only came second and [I'm] a guy from Tassie, so I'm forgotten about fairly fast, I think,' he tells us. 'But I like that because that's who l am and I probably didn't suit what they wanted.'
Farmer Wants A Wife
It's unknown who, if anyone, will be in attendance to support Farmer Wants A Wife, as host Natalie Gruzlewski hasn't walked the red carpet since 2014 and none of last year's farmers have been invited.
'I don't think I'm going; they haven't contacted me about it at all,' Farmer Bert Harris tells us. 'No doubt the producers will be the ones going!'
Australian Survivor
The same can be said for Australian Survivor, with Jonathan LaPaglia unlikely to attend after he was recently fired from the series, and winner Myles Kuah not on the guest list.
'I'm not going to the Logies, but I'm hopeful for a Survivor win,' he tells us.
Australian Idol
One reality star who will be walking the red carpet is this year's Australian Idol winner, Marshall Hamburger. The 19-year-old will be joined by the show's host, Ricki-Lee Coulter, who is nominated for Most Popular Presenter.
'I am honestly so excited to attend my first Logies ever, and a little nervous as well!' he tells us. 'I have to say I am very excited to hear Jimmy Barnes sing. I've never seen him perform live before, so seeing him in person is going to be a huge honour! I'm also excited to hopefully see some of the crew from Idol, such as Ricki-Lee, the judges, and the production crew as well.
'As for my outfit, I am stuck between an '80s style Farnham look, or a Bruno Mars Silk Sonic look! Who knows what I'll end up wearing though.'
Travel Guides
Also in attendance will be the cast of Channel 9's Travel Guides, who have won the Logie for Best Lifestyle Program three years running. Cast member and former Beauty and the Geek runner-up Bri Auty tells Yahoo Lifestyle she is hopeful the series will be able to take home another win.
'I'll be there with bells on,' she remarks. 'We got nominated again for Best Lifestyle Program, so hopefully we win again for the fourth year in a row. All of us will be there!'

American Eagle fires back at critics after Sydney Sweeney campaign sparks online backlash
American Eagle has broken its silence after the company's Sydney Sweeney "great jeans" campaign sparked backlash online. On Friday, the clothing company took to Instagram and shared an official statement. "'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans' is and always was about the jeans. Her Jeans. Her Story. We'll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way." "Great jeans look good on everyone," the statement concluded. This week, American Eagle released their latest campaign with the "Euphoria" actress, titled "Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans." Following the launch, there has been a mix of reactions on social media. Some dubbed the campaign as "tone-deaf" due to the alleged racial undertones, others have praised the actress for killing "woke" advertising. In a promo video posted to the brand's Instagram, the 27-year-old walked toward an AE billboard featuring her and the tagline "Sydney Sweeney Has Great Genes." Sweeney crossed out "Genes" and replaced it with "Jeans" before walking away. According to Salon, the term "great genes" was historically used to "celebrate whiteness, thinness and attractiveness." In a second ad, Sweeney is seen laying down and fastening her jeans while saying, "Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color." The camera then panned up to her blue eyes. "My jeans are blue."
