Anupam Kher reveals he once worked as a masseur
Kher shared that after completing his course at the National School of Drama, he took up a massage course and even worked in the field for a short while. 'After I finished my course at the National School of Drama, all my formal education—from first standard to third—ended,' he joked.

The Hum shoot incident that had everyone in splits
Continuing the conversation, Kher shared a hilarious memory from the sets of Hum. 'During the shoot, Amit ji and others were sitting around, and I was giving massages to everyone — I even gave one to Danny [Denzongpa],' he said.

Amitabh Bachchan couldn't resist poking fun at the situation. 'Amit ji shouted loudly, 'Bhaiya, light jaldi le aao!' (Brother, bring the electricity quickly!),' Kher recounted with a laugh.

Ali Fazal learns guitar for Metro…In Dino

Driven by a desire for authenticity, Ali aimed to portray a musician deeply connected to his instrument and the film's emotional narrative. Actor Ali Fazal has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to his craft, this time for his upcoming role in Metro…In Dino , directed by Anurag Basu. To bring authenticity to his character—a musician deeply intertwined with the film's emotional core—Ali spent over a month learning to play the guitar under the guidance of a professional tutor. Though he briefly held a guitar in a cameo role in 3 Idiots , Ali wanted a more grounded portrayal for this project. 'Playing a musician is not just about pretending to strum. Sometimes, yes, it is. But sometimes it's all real,' he said. 'This character needed to feel like someone who truly lives through music. That's what I set out to achieve.' Ali's training focused not only on mastering chords but also on understanding the emotional connection between a musician and their instrument. 'Your fingers hurt, your patience is tested, but it's worth it. I didn't want to cheat the audience. I wanted every strum to feel honest,' he explained. Reflecting on Basu's layered storytelling, Ali emphasized the responsibility he felt toward the character. 'Music is a universal language—it expresses what words can't. I wanted that to come through on screen.'
