Seahawks all-time record vs NFC East: updated for 2025
So far in this series, we have done we have covered the NFC West, NFC North, NFC South and AFC South. We focused on the two southern divisions early due to the fact Seattle is paired against those divisions for the 2025 season. For our latest entry, we will officially be closing out the NFC with the East. The Seahawks were last slated to play the NFC East in 2023, but did have an infamous showdown with one of these teams last year.
Dallas Cowboys
All-time record: Dallas leads the series 12-10
Longest win streak: both teams have won three straight against each other, but Dallas has done it twice (October 1976-December 1983, November 2008-November 2011) and Seattle has only done it once between November 2015 and September 2018.
Most recent outcome: November 30th, 2023 - the Cowboys outlast the Seahawks 41-35 in a Thursday Night Football shootout. Seattle squandered a 35-27 lead in the fourth quarter and turned the ball over on downs on their three final possessions of the game.
New York Giants
All-time record: the series is tied at 11-11
Longest win streak: the Seahawks won four-straight games October 2011 to October 2017
Most recent outcome: October 6th, 2024 - the Giants gave my father the worst birthday gift imaginable by handing the Seahawks one of the worst losses in recent memory, stealing a game 29-20 at Lumen Field. This would be the last game New York would win in 2024 for an astonishing 10 weeks.
Philadelphia Eagles
All-time record: Seattle leads the series 13-7
Longest win streak: the Seahawks are currently on an eight-game winning streak over the Eagles dating back to December 2011.
Most recent outcome: December 18th, 2023 - the Seahawks saved their season with backup Drew Lock under center on Monday Night Football. Seattle had lost their last four games, and at 6-7 were on the verge of being eliminated entirely from postseason contention. Instead, Drew Lock found then-rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba for a game-winning touchdown strike and safety Julian Love intercepted Jalen Hurts to seal the 20-17 upset victory.
Washington Commanders
All-time record: Washington lead the series 13-10
Longest win streak: the Commanders have defeated the Seahawks four times in a row twice, from September 1983 to November 1992, and from November 2001 to October 2005.
Most recent outcome: November 12th, 2023 - for the first time in the rivalry, the Seahawks defeated the "other" Washington at Lumen Field during the regular season. Jason Myers nailed the game winning kick from 43-yards out to win 29-26 over the Commanders.

Cooper Flagg Names His NBA Mount Rushmore Without Hesitation
Cooper Flagg Names His NBA Mount Rushmore Without Hesitation originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Dallas Mavericks' brand-new rookie Cooper Flagg is already in the city to start his journey with the 2011 NBA champions. The former Duke Blue Devils star is coming off a lone but impactful season in college, averaging 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game under Jon Scheyer. Advertisement Duke couldn't advance to the championship game after an upset against the Houston Cougars in the 2025 March Madness Final Four, but Flagg made a strong impression on those who watched him play. The challenge is different now, as he'll play against older and stronger players. Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving will be his veterans in Dallas as he starts the next chapter in his journey. Cooper Flagg talks to the media during the 2025 NBA Draft Combine at Marriott Marquis Banks-Imagn Images During his introductory press conference, Flagg was asked about his Mount Rushmore of NBA players. The No. 1 overall pick went with four players from different eras when it came to the NBA. "My Mt. Rushmore of NBA players, I'd say Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, LeBron [James] and probably Kobe [Bryant]," Flagg said. Advertisement He didn't stop there and shared who he thinks are the four best players in WNBA history. "Candace Parker, Brittney Griner," he started. "I think A'ja Wilson is on there and then, I might put Caitlin Clark on there just 'cause she changed the game so much and it's heading in the right direction. I just love what she's been able to do." Flagg appears to be a student of the game. He'll have the chance to play with and under people with remarkable careers to start his. Cooper Flagg Names Toughest NBA Matchup Without Hesitation
Cooper Flagg Names Toughest NBA Matchup Without Hesitation originally appeared on Athlon Sports. As he prepares to debut with the Dallas Mavericks in the 2025 NBA Summer League, Cooper Flagg carries high expectations as the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. Advertisement Coming off a dream freshman season with the Duke Blue Devils in which he averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game and led the team to the Final Four, Flagg is set to elevate the Mavericks' level from the get-go. Flagg will share touches with Anthony Davis and Klay Thompson when the regular season begins in October before Kyrie Irving returns to action to try to help the Mavericks compete for the championship. He's well aware that his team has a solid roster but also knows the competition won't be easy at all. Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg and NBA commissioner Adam Penner-Imagn Images During a pre-draft chat with The Athletic, Flagg revealed what he thought would be his toughest matchup in the association. While most players, such as his former teammate Kon Knueppel (who picked Giannis Antetokounmpo) and No. 2 overall pick Dylan Harper (Irving), named other players, Flagg named an entire team, going with the reigning NBA champions. Advertisement "You know, I'll say just the Thunder in general," Flagg said. "They're young, they got a lot of good pieces, so that's going to be a tough team to beat." The Thunder just beat the inspired Indiana Pacers in the 2025 NBA Finals. Although they needed seven games to do so, they entered the series as favorites to win it all. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Alex Caruso and Co. went the distance until they finally beat the overachieving Pacers. After a busy offseason, the challenges will be numerous for the defending champs and for Flagg. The 82-game regular season is a grind, but it could be a memorable rookie season for the former Duke standout. 2025 Arizona Cardinals training camp roster preview: RB DeeJay Dallas
We will preview every player on the Cardinals roster leading up to training camp. This is about RB DeeJay Dallas. The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team. Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2024, questions they face and their roster outlook. This focuses on running back DeeJay Dallas. DeeJay Dallas background, 2024 season Dallas enters his second season with the Cardinals. He signed a three-year, $8.25 million contract in the 2024 offseason with the Cardinals as a free agent after four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. He was originally a fourth-round pick in 2020 by the Seahawks. In Seattle, he made a name for himself as a returner and special teams player. With the Seahawks in four seasons, he logged 599 offensive snaps and 949 on special teams. In 2024, he averaged 30.6 yards on 15 kick returns and had a 96-yard return for a touchdown, the first of the 2024 under the "dynamic kickoff" rule. He played a total of 275 special teams snaps and then got 54 offensive snaps late in the season when there were injuries. He had 49 yards on nine rushing attempts and three catches for 11 yards, including a touchdown. DeeJay Dallas 2025 contract details, cap hit Dallas enters the second year of his three-year contract. He is scheduled to make just less than $2.4 million in salary and up to $255,000 in per-game roster bonuses. His cap hit in 2025 will be a little less than $3.1 million. Questions he faces and 2025 roster outlook Head coach Jonathan Gannon calls Dallas one of his "war daddies" for the team on the field and in the locker room. Can he continue to prove his worth in the return game and on fourth down, in addition to being able to produce offensively if called upon? As special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers expects the return rate to skyrocket to about 70% in 2025 with adjustments to the kickoff rule, having a stud returner like Dallas is valuable. If he isn't a lock for the roster, he is a clear favorite to be the team's fourth running back, their primary kick returner and a core special teams player.
