Zoë Kravitz On Playing A "More Psychotic" Version Of Herself In 'The Studio': "If You Can't Make Fun Of Yourself, I Think There's Something Wrong"
'Theo and I are happy,' Nan says at the beginning of the clip. 'I'm in this for life.'
This declaration comes after Nan had to make a difficult decision and marry Theo (Guy Remmers), Duke of Tintagel, so that her flame Guy Thwarte (Matthew Broome) could help Nan's sister Ginny (Imogen Waterhouse) escape from her abusive husband Lord James Seadown (Barney Fishwick).
'Everything before 'I do' is now irrelevant,' Theo's mother, the Dowager Duchess of Tintagel (Amelia Bullmore) tells Nan in the woods, sternly advising Nan to be faithful to her husband. 'All Theo needs to know is that he has a dutiful and loving wife, but Annabel, anyone can be a wife. You are…'
'A Duchess,' Nan completes. 'I really want to make this version of my life work. I have to let Guy go.'
The clip features Chappell Roan's 'Good Luck Babe,' continuing the tradition established in Season 1 with a modern soundtrack of mostly women artists.
Cue Guy's voiceover perspective as he and Jinny escape somewhere bright and sunny with Jinny's baby.
'Everything has changed except the way I feel,' he says as he looks at the newspaper headlines, which tell him what is happening in Nan's world, advertising her honeymoon with Theo.
'Theo thinks this is real,' Nan tells her mother. 'He thinks I chose to marry him.'
'You did the bravest thing I have ever known,' Patty tells Nan. 'And saved your sister.'
Nan fiercely stands up to Lord Seadown both one on one and at a dining table full of guests.
'No man should be allowed to own his wife,' she asserts.
Cut to a triumphant walk by Nan in a bright red dress with a bold hairstyle as guests turn heads. 'Happily Ever After' flashes in bright neon blue across the long train of her dress.
More musical moments and needle drops in Season 2 will include Taylor Swift, as well as songs from Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Clairo, Sharon Van Etten, St. Vincent, Bleachers and The Last Dinner Party. The original soundtrack for season two celebrates the return of executive music producer Stella Mozgawa and features Empress Of's new single 'Little Secret' out today with the trailer along with new music from Suki Waterhouse, Madi Diaz, Holly Humberstone, Kacy Hill, Jade Bird, Emily Kokal of Warpaint and more.
The second installment of the show, inspired by Edith Wharton's unfinished novel, also reunites returning stars Alisha Boe, Aubri Ibrag, Josie Totah, Mia Threapleton and more.
The Buccaneers returns to Apple TV+ Wednesday, June 18, 2025 with one episode followed by one new episode every Wednesday through August 6, 2025.

Jennifer Aniston teases ‘emotional' season four of The Morning Show

Jennifer Aniston has revealed the plot of the forthcoming fourth season of The Morning Show will be 'complicated'. The 56-year-old stars in the Apple TV+ drama, which follows a fictional breakfast show in the aftermath of a prominent news anchor being hit with a series of allegations, alongside Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup and Julianna Margulies. Aniston – who plays the TV anchor Alex Levy on the show alongside executive producing the series with co-star Witherspoon – told People that The Morning Show 'is just a beast to film'. 'It is layered, it's complicated, it's emotional, it hits on a lot of topics and current events, so let's just say, it's not Friends,' she added, referencing the Nineties show in which she played Rachel Green from 1994 to 2004. She continued: 'We're involved in every single aspect of the show, on top of just the performance side, which is a big piece of it. But I've got incredible support, and we have such an incredible team.' Season four of The Morning Show finished shooting in December last year, according to a post from Witherspoon's media company, Hello Sunshine. 'And that's a wrap on Season 4 of #TheMorningShow!' it read. 'Thank you to our incredible cast and crew for bringing this season to life. We can't wait for you all to see what's in store on @AppleTV!' Season three of The Morning show saw a romance begin between Aniston's Alex and the space tech billionaire Paul Marks, played by Jon Hamm. Elsewhere, Witherspoon's Bradley attempted to salvage her reputation as a journalist after she chose not to reveal video evidence of her brother taking part in the insurrection at the US Capitol. Speaking to Deadline, showrunner Charlotte Stoudt said the next season of the show would explore deepfakes and artificial intelligence. 'We blew everything up last year with the biggest bomb we could possibly build,' she said. 'So, we have to ask ourselves how is the band going to get back together, and what will that look like? 'We get into the world of deepfakes and AI and the misinformation in the fog of war that we're seeing now in the Middle East and stuff. 'We're looking at who can trust. And can you trust what you're seeing? Can you trust yourself? Can you trust your news outlet?' The Morning Show returns for season four on Wednesday, 17 September on Apple TV+

Jennifer Aniston Jokes That Season 4 of ‘The Morning Show' Is ‘Not Friends'

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Spoilers below. What's next for The Morning Show? For a series that literally began its latest season IN SPACE, the possibilities are endless. Season 3 went from the outer layers of earth's atmosphere to the bowels of the Capitol on January 6th—all while navigating the network's pending sale to an Elon Musk-like billionaire, Paul Marks (Jon Hamm). The series, which began as a reflection of the #MeToo movement, continued to rip from headlines, this latest season being the overrun of Roe vs. Wade, and the current state of media. In the end, Alex is making power moves, Bradley is about to do time, and UBA is heading into a drastically different direction than we thought. So, where to now? On May 28, it was announced that season 4 will premiere on September 17 on Apple TV+. From there, the 10-episode season will release weekly every Friday until November 19. We're expecting to see much more of stars Jennifer Aniston (Alex) and Reese Witherspoon (Bradley), as well as Billy Crudup (Cory), Mark Duplass (Chip), Nestor Carbonell (Yanko), Karen Pittman (Mia), Greta Lee (Stella), and Nicole Beharie (Chris). Oscar winner Marion Cotillard will also join the cast as Celine Dumont, 'a savvy operator from a storied European family,' according to Apple. And according to The Hollywood Reporter, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, and Boyd Holbrook will appear in season 4 as well. Hamm will also be returning. But one character we won't be seeing again? Laura Peterson, Bradley's love interest. Per Variety, actress Julianna Margulies will not return for season 4, a decision reportedly made prior to Margulies's controversial comments on a podcast in November 2023. Season 4 is confirmed to have a time jump. The show is now set to take place in spring 2024 after the merger has been finalized. The showrunner already hinted that this might happen in a previous conversation with THR. 'I think you probably have to have some kind of time jump, because it takes so long to write and shoot and post the show,' she said. 'You don't want to get too far behind in real time, in terms of the era we're playing and when people are watching it. But I think those time jumps, actually, are great. Because they allow for really surprising reveals at the top of the season. It's a little bit of: 'How did they get there? Wait, he's doing what? Those two are together?!' I think just on a transparent deliciousness of story, you can have a lot of fun with this big cast.' Now, the storied media conglomerates UBA and NBN will join forces in a massive deal that somehow turned out to be more beneficial than selling to billionaire Paul Marks. (He who surveilled journalists and lied to NASA.) But as Mia and Stella hint in the control room, this new chapter is going to lead to a lot of changes in both companies: in leadership, talent, and staff. With two major companies coming together, projects and roles will double up. Will we see intense competition arise between anchors and producers between companies? Whose jobs are at stake? 'I think mergers are always messy, whether they're personal or corporate,' showrunner Charlotte Stoudt told Deadline. 'So, it's always fun to play with that. Whether that story is the story is a question we're wrestling with right now. There are all sorts of things to talk about. We're also trying to reflect the world…how many streamers can there be? People getting laid off, that sort of stuff. So we also just want to reflect what's actually happening in the media world. Some people are doing very well, some people are doing less well. It's like the Wild West.' And at the end of season 3, Bradley—now resigned from UBA—and her brother, Hal, turn themselves in to the FBI to account for his assault of a police officer during the January 6th insurrection (and Bradley subsequently withholding evidence). That leaves a big question for the state of the series's leading pair: How will the show handle Alex and Bradley being apart? (Even more than they did this past season?) Stoudt also teased what's to come in a discussion with Deadline in April 2024. 'We blew everything up last year with the biggest bomb we could possibly build,' she explained. 'So, we have to ask ourselves how is the band going to get back together, and what will that look like? We get into the world of DeepFakes and AI and the misinformation in the fog of war that we're seeing now in the Middle East and stuff. We're looking at who can trust. And can you trust what you're seeing? Can you trust yourself? Can you trust your news outlet?' In an interview in July 2025 with People, Aniston hinted at a 'complicated' season. 'The Morning Show is just a beast to film. It is layered, it's complicated, it's emotional, it hits on a lot of topics and current events, so let's just say, it's not Friends,' she joked. Of herself and Witherspoon producing, Aniston said, 'We're involved in every single aspect of the show, on top of just the performance side, which is a big piece of it. But I've got incredible support, and we have such an incredible team.' Yes. On July 8, Aniston shared with her Instagram followers that the cast has officially begun shooting. 'Let @themorningshow season 4 games begin 🥳 Here we come! ❤️👏🏼👏🏼❤️🥂,' she wrote in the caption along with a BTS photo of her, Witherspoon, and Notaro. They wore coordinating denim looks and carried name plates with their characters' names. Aniston also included a picture of the front of the script for episode 401, titled 'My Roman Empire.' Julian McMahon's Last Appearance Now Seen In New Light Following Death

Hollywood is mourning the loss of J, the charismatic Australian-American actor best known for his role as Dr. Christian Troy on "Nip/Tuck," who passed away this week at age 56 following a private battle with cancer. McMahon's wife, Kelly, confirmed the heartbreaking news on Friday, revealing the beloved actor had been fighting the disease quietly and bravely out of the public eye. Julian McMahon's final public appearance came just four months ago at SXSW in Austin, Texas, where he walked the red carpet with to promote their film "The Surfer." McMahon, noticeably thinner and more fragile, managed a warm smile for photographers despite his declining health. Dressed in a blue checked blazer that hung loosely on his frame, he stood proudly alongside Cage outside the Zach Theatre. The photos were shared by the Daily Mail. Now that fans are aware of his private battle with cancer, his noticeably frail appearance takes on new meaning. The movie had premiered at Cannes the year prior and marked what would be one of McMahon's final roles. Following news of his death, Cage paid tribute to his co-star, calling him 'one of my favorite people.' 'I spent six weeks working with Julian, and he was the most talented of actors,' Cage said in a statement to Deadline. 'Our scenes together on 'The Surfer' were amongst my favorites I have ever participated in. He was a kind and intelligent man. My love to his family.' McMahon, who began his acting career in his native Australia on the long-running soap "Home and Away," quickly rose to international fame. After landing roles on "Profiler and Charmed," he became a household name as the seductive and complex Dr. Christian Troy on FX's "Nip/Tuck," a role that earned him a Golden Globe nomination in 2004. In more recent years, McMahon starred as Jess LaCroix on CBS's "FBI: Most Wanted," leading the crime drama from its 2020 debut until his departure in 2022. Fans were surprised by his exit, unaware of his behind-the-scenes health struggles. In her statement, Kelly, whom Julian married in a private Lake Tahoe ceremony in 2014, spoke to his passion for life, family, and craft. The couple had been together for over a decade, and theirs was McMahon's third marriage. He was previously wed to Australian pop star Dannii Minogue from 1994 to 1995, and later to "Baywatch" actress Brooke Burns from 1999 to 2001. He and Burns shared one daughter, Madison Elizabeth McMahon, now 25. In a statement to Deadline on July 4, Paniagua confirmed that Julian passed away from cancer a few days earlier in Clearwater, Florida. 'Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible," she said in her statement. "We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories." As news of Julian McMahon's passing continued to ripple through Hollywood, his "Charmed" co-star Alyssa Milano paid a deeply personal tribute to the late actor, remembering him not just as a colleague but as a cherished friend. Taking to Instagram on Friday night, Milano shared a carousel of photos capturing their years together on set, alongside a heartfelt caption reflecting on their bond. 'I'm heartbroken. Julian McMahon was magic. That smile. That laugh. That talent. That presence,' she wrote. 'He walked into a room and lit it up, not just with charisma, but with kindness. With mischief. With soulful understanding.' The two portrayed iconic on-screen couple Phoebe Halliwell and Cole Turner throughout several seasons of "Charmed," but according to Milano, their connection ran much deeper than television chemistry. As tributes pour in, fans and co-stars alike are remembering McMahon not just for his undeniable on-screen talent, but for his quiet strength, humility, and kindness. His family has asked for privacy as they grieve, but hope his legacy will live on through the roles he played and the joy he brought to so many.
