Warning: Spoilers for Ironheart, you have been warned…
Looking for something to watch now you've binged The Bear and seen off Squid Game?
Well, you're in luck! Six episodes of an incredible new action show are available to watch now on Disney Plus.
The show is called Ironheart and it's the latest chapter in the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Now, if you're a fan of the MCU, you'll no doubt know what Ironheart is about, but if you're not up to date on what's happening on Earth-616, allow me to explain.
Set after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ironheart follows genius gadgeteer Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) as she teams up with the mysterious Parker Robbins (Anthony Ramos) in the hope of scraping together enough cash to build a new suit of Iron Man-style armour.
However, Parker isn't what he seems, and before long, Riri finds herself torn between the mystical and the mechanical.

When the series first dropped, there was an outpouring of celebration from fans who were thrilled by Riri's adventures.
On Reddit, CharlesFluidSmith said, '[The] show is fantastic. Can say without hyperbole, it's my favourite Disney+ show.'
AdRevolutionary4061 was similarly enthusiastic about Riri's adventures, posting 'Loving this show a ton already!', a feeling echoed by saintnick524, who wrote, 'This show is amazing!! I really enjoy it.'
It was Xekshek33 who perhaps put it best, however, when they wrote: 'This show is a banger'.
The delight wasn't exclusive to Reddit either. On X, @jjmastermind claimed: 'I'm hooked and there [are] only 3 episodes/one week left'.
@captaincupkicks meanwhile said: 'I LOVED the first 3 episodes of #Ironheart! It's a gorgeous show with fun action, real stakes, and an exciting take on legacy… Can't wait to see the rest next week!'
@KeyWatkins51299 felt similarly, adding: 'The first 3 episodes of #Ironheart were truly something iconic…This is a truly unique MCU series, and I am loving it so far. Can't wait for next week.' https://www.tiktok.com/@metroentertainment/video/7519460520445873430
Metro's own Zac Haniff sat down with Ironheart executive producer Ryan Coogler to get the latest on the MCU …
Everyone knows that the MCU is building to the Secret Wars, but Marvel Studios already has an eye on the future and the end of the Multiverse Saga.
And do you know what's coming next? Why it's Marvel's merry mutants, the X-Men of course!
More excitingly, plans are already in the works for the film with Ryan telling Metro that Jake Schreier (who just made Thunderbolts) will direct the X-Men reboot.
Let's hope Ryan had permission from Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige to tell us that…
Since then, however, the show's won over more and more fans, especially in the back half of the season, where Marvel finally introduced a highly anticipated villain.
In the final episodes, we met the devilish Mephisto – the Marvel Universe's Satan stand-in – played by Sacha Baron Cohen, and it's fair to say he left one hell (pun intended) of an impression on viewers.
'Arghhh, Human Mephisto in Ironheart… this just became top 3 Marvel TV!!! #Ironheart,' wrote @Onlykayoo on X.
[We're finally getting Mephisto,' added @tonisattorney. 'We're so back and I will be expecting a season 2.' More Trending
Meanwhile, @paullydoughnuts declaredthat 'Ironheart was a good show, better than most of the shows they have been making… 100% better than WandaVision.'
If that doesn't convince you to watch the show, you might be pleased to hear that Ironheart currently has a rather robust 86% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Sadly, the audience score is a lot lower at just 53% but it's worth noting the series was review-bombed before it was released, making that measure a little unreliable.
Ironheart is available to watch now on Disney Plus.

Horror fans ‘terrified' after disturbing VHS recordings appear in US towns

Horror film fans are going to be sleeping with one eye open after a series of very disturbing VHS recordings started appearing in the US. Users on Reddit, Instagram, and TikTok are still desperately seeking answers for the unexplained videos… but it seems no one can help. In a number of States, people are discovering VHS tapes featuring three hours of different horror scenes, which they reckon could be part of some new twisty marketing campaign for an upcoming movie. Having taken to social media to exchange findings and theories, it was soon realised that the videos all showed the same footage, which has also appeared on YouTube. On YouTube, we can see that the three-hour, 42-minute-long feature has been filmed in black and white and with night vision cameras. Titled 'WHITEFACE' and uploaded on June 27 in a bid to attract people with more knowledge, the VHS has already clocked up 1,000 views on the one platform alone. In the description, the uploader notes six locations where tapes have been found so far. These include a Hollywood video store, a bar in Nashville, a thrift store in Orlando, and an art gallery in Virginia. Meanwhile, over on TikTok, horror fanatics are losing their minds with all the speculation. TikToker Nicolas Curcio's video, currently with over 18,000 likes, sees him dissect the events, describing it as: 'This is either one of the best art projects ever or a case of the possible first-ever real found footage horror film.' For context, 'found footage horror' is a subgenre of horror films that 'uses a style of filmmaking characterised by the use of 'discovered' video recordings.' The recordings are typically presented as if they were made by the characters themselves. It's a genre that has had huge commercial success in the past, famous examples being 2007's Paranormal Activity, 2014's Creep, and, more recently, Late Night with the Devil, released in 2024. The TikTok creator goes on to say the discovered VHS footage does not contain any recognisable actors, but it mostly appears to be just a guy with a white-painted face wandering around LA. At one point, he's around Universal Studios. In some of the creepier moments, he films random people or even follows them home and into unlocked houses, harassing one woman at a bus stop for 30 minutes as she tries to ignore him. While some believe the whole thing is 'fake', others think it could be a student film that's made its way online. However, sceptics reckon it's even too amateurish for that, given that 'Whiteface' has no titles or end credits, nor is it edited. In the comments of the semi-viral TikTok video, people had plenty of thoughts. '$5 this is viral marketing for a movie that's going to drop later this year', declared @portiaisheeere. 'feels very fake especially 2 being found at similar times, starting on reddit and no real footage', @gargledmesh countered. 'it's 3 hours long and back in the day it was hard to edit tape to tape, so it could be an unfinished project – therefore even the lack of credits. now anyone can edit just on their phones, back then it was a different story', speculated @thedearone_. 'Quite clearly viral marketing for a movie lol nothing will ever top Blair witch though these companies have been trying to mimic it for years gets boring when everytime the film they're trying to get you to watch is boring', @bluish vented. The Blair they were referring to is, of course, 1999's horror/mystery movie The Blair Witch Project, which followed three students who vanished after venturing into a Maryland forest to film a documentary on the local Blair Witch legend. Only their footage was left behind. At the time, the indie flick had so many people convinced it was actually real, largely thanks to the prior release of a mockumentary titled Curse of the Blair Witch, which was also presented as 100% genuine, featuring interviews with so-called family members of the students and historical experts. More Trending Basically, the doc set the whole thing up, and it took a lot of people a while to realise it was just a marketing ploy, which is what some believe is happening again with Whiteface (2025). Having none of it, however, TikTok's @bbgst blasted: 'why is everyone so doubtful these days, why not just believe instead of thinking its a movie marketing thing or something'. Taskmaster 2025 winner reveals what you didn't see in 'best season ever'

Taskmaster season 19 has come to a triumphant end with BBC star Mathew Baynton celebrating an epic victory. The Ghosts actor, 44, won the top spot and a bust of host Greg Davies' head as his reward after undergoing ten weeks of gruelling (and baffling) tasks against his co-stars and fellow comedians. Following behind Mathew's winning 169 points was comedian Stevie Martin with 154 points (who separately won the final episode). In third place was US star Jason Mantzoukas with 150 points, then Rosie Ramsey with 149 points and, coming in last, we had Greg's almost-wife Fatiha El-Ghorri with a respectable 141 points. 'I'm just really happy. I was having so much fun…' Mat told Metro about his victory ahead of the final episode. He joins an exclusive group of past Taskmaster winners including Ed Gamble, Katherine Ryan, Dara Ó Briain and Mae Martin. The Horrible Histories actor wowed audiences, sidekick little Alex Horne, his fellow competitors and, most importantly of all, the titular maestro himself, Greg, to secure the victory on the Channel 4 reality series. The actor has gone viral among the Taskmaster fandom (and beyond) more than once this season for his iconic behaviour – including one task where he and Alex transform from caterpillars into butterflies. Responding to the fan reaction, he said: 'It is lovely and with that one in particular (as with so many of them) I have to big up the team because they're such amazing artists that they take these videos you have and just do such a brilliant job. '[There's] no time, really, to prepare… I was like, 'oh, let's turn into butterflies'' and 'ten minutes later you're in these costumes filming them, and Chrissy, the makeup artist, made us look so funny. 'The brilliance of it is 10% the contestant and 90% the Taskmaster team, who are just a bunch of geniuses.' He added that 'if people knew how it was made, they'd be so much more in awe of that team just making it incredible.' Whether coming up with perfectly executed task prizes (like his fakeout with the biggest anticlimax) or proving his utmost commitment to the tasks no matter how absurd, the Yonderland star brought the skills needed to climb the ranks. For him, however, the most 'humiliating' moments were when had 'messed up' on a task without even realising. 'There was a task where I thought I had done triumphantly well, but I had inexplicably moved a wheelie bin, disqualifying myself in the process or when I shouted 'everybody' to lead along a sing along of a song that I wrote that took me one word over the word limit,' he explained. The Horrible Histories icon ended the final episode to raucous cheers from the live audience before going in for a passionate snog with his newly-acquired trophy. During the finale, the contestants had to bring in 'the thing most likely to make you do a double-take'; fill a box with yellow sand (with multiple catches of course); strike and hold a pose for 10 whole minutes and set up an unconventional drive-through service. Oh, and shoving a dangling carrot into a bucket without the use of your hands. So, business as usual. His victory comes at the end of a season that has been widely praised by viewers as the best season in a long time, if not ever – something he is thrilled about. 'Taskmaster season 19 is hands down the best season ngl I really don't want it to end,' spaceyeurotrash wrote on X. 'This series has been one of the best in ages,' jessatkinson92 echoed. 'Love this cast dearly, my favourite series,' ellasrhapsody declared. 'S19 has just been such a joy. Every new ep is the greatest episode so far, and the chemistry between the cast is just so excellent. I don't want this series to end,' sulcusandjirehs added. 'Season 19 Taskmaster is a stone cold classic already,' tarteaucitron2x echoed. 'Difficult to believe that this series of Taskmaster is almost over, arguably one of the best of the past three years,' bromley001 reflected. 'I love them so much pls can we have another 10 episodes I'm not ready for it to be over,' fern praised. 'That's just really gratifying,' Mat said about the widespread praise. 'You can never control how people perceive or receive anything. I prepared to have as much fun as I could, and then try and cover my ears and my eyes and just ignore whatever response there might be to it. 'So it's a huge relief when you dare to take a peek and find that people are saying nice things.' He added that he had initially felt 'slightly worried about feeling self-conscious' but was 'delighted [he] was able to get over it and enjoy it.' More Trending Although he joked: 'I still think my career going forward, as long as I haven't destroyed the possibility of people taking me seriously as an actor, will be in fiction characters.' There will be a 20th season landing on Channel 4 sometime later this year and the line-up has officially been confirmed. Breakthrough comic Ania Magliano, presenter Maisie Adam, Phil Ellis, Inside No, 9 star Reece Shearsmith and actor Sanjeev Bhaskar will join Greg and Alex for the new season. Taskmaster is available to stream on Channel 4. Got a story?
